  1. Site URL: https://tomato-emu-8lxb.squarespace.com/ Hi - I am using the Forte template for an architectural portfolio and so am housing multiple project galleries in separate indexes -- using indexes to create categories (ie. residential, commercial, etc). I would like the homepage index to pull from multiple projects outside of that index -- but it seems for the homepage I have to create one index and the pages can't link outside of that index. If I do this I can not organize/cagtegorize the projects .... is there a way to tell index images to link elsewhere? I think it will make
  2. Site URL: https://www.open-walls.org/ Hi All, I am trying to hide the collection title on some indexs. See open-walls.org I am using this code and it hides it on all pages. Is there a way I can tell it to hide and show on some indexs using css? div.collection-detail-wrapper { display: none; } For example I want it hidden it in these : https://www.open-walls.org/livingroom https://www.open-walls.org/geofictionslatour I want it to show on these: https://www.open-walls.org/lobby https://www.open-walls.org/galleries https://www.o
  3. Site URL: http://www.edmundstenson.com Hello all, I'm looking to change the colour of my header in my 7.0 Forte template. Is it possible? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Ed
  4. Site URL: http://www.larsonshores.com/new-gallery I'm trying to add a media link and image to an article below the gallery images on this gallery page as shown in the attached image. Ideally the media link and image would remain static as you scroll through the images. It seems like custom css referencing this specific page makes the most sense? Not sure about the right code for this though? Example link: https://www.sfgate.com/realestate/article/Architect-led-spec-house-with-30-foot-tall-living-13872931.php#photo-17524966
  5. Site URL: https://www.spsoundart.com/news I am using Forte 7.0. The titles on blog posts are much too large relative to the text in the post. Yet it only allows you to change both at once with a slider; as the text gets bigger, so does the title. I would like to make the titles of blog posts smaller. I know this will require some code. I believe I had some, but they had me remove it to troubleshoot another issue, and when I put it back in it no longer works. I have seen several other posts on this topic but none with solutions that work with Forte 7.0.
  6. Site URL: https://www.jimaikman.com/about I'm using the Forte Template. There is an option to have a header in the upper left corner of the site on all pages, with a tagline that appears beneath it. But the tagline only appears when the site is viewed on giant monitors - it does not display the tagline on most laptops. This is not ideal. I haven't been able to find any code solutions. Any ideas? I'd rather not make a jpeg.
  7. I'm using Forte on version 7.0 and there's too much padding between blog posts on a Blog Page - any ideas?
  8. Site URL: https://nizarphotography.com Hey everyone, I'm using Forte template and just created a cover page. I find my logo awkward on top of the page: https://nizarphotography.com What I want to do is to vertically (and horizontally) center the logo. So I'm removing the header (which is vertically centered) and replacing it with the logo instead. I'd keep 3 navigation links just below it. In the custom CSS code, I managed to move the logo down by using padding, but then the links followed as well and went all the way down. I would really appreciate your help
  9. Hello, Right now the forte template content width can't go wider than 1200px. How do I make it wider so the images look more bigger and wider? Thank you
  10. Site URL: https://heptagon-coconut-eb6t.squarespace.com/ Hi Squarespace Community, I am building this website (https://heptagon-coconut-eb6t.squarespace.com) and would love to add a line of text in the bottom center of the screen, on top of my full-bleed images. Is that possible with custom code? Would love some guidance here, as just adding <h1>Hello Test<h1> into my page header didn’t go too well. Thanks a ton in advance. I’d be immensely appreciative of your help. Cheers, Theo Template: Forte URL: https://heptagon-coconut-eb6t.squarespace.com/
  11. I'm working on having a gallery to show images of work under construction. In just the gallery mode, the images sit nicely on the page. But when the image is clicked on to enlarge, the image and the exit button are overlapped behind my navigation bar, and it looks messy. There are a few solutions I have but I have no idea how to execute them. 1. Disable enlarging the images entirely 2. When images are enlarged and opaque white background covers the everything except the image and the image navigation 3. When image is enlarged, have it not as big and have the exit button low
  12. Can anyone tell me how to change the following text? I am currently using the Forte layout, and for clarification, the text above it is the page title.
  13. I am using the Forte template and am looking for css to move the title to align over with the navigation bar on the right instead of on the default, left.
  14. I am using the Forte template and have uploaded my logo as a jpeg but this flattens the image making it have a white background rather than a transparent one. Any way to insert a different file format into replica the role of the logo in the template but to be transparent?
  15. The title and navigation color defaults to white/black, and I need to customize it. I know that custom CSS is required, and I don't know what code to enter. Any help would be appreciated!
  16. I am trying to create a header featuring four links to reference points below on a page in my website. I've gotten the words appropriately spaced and I now only need to center the four words. I've attached a screenshot of my conundrum as my site is not yet live. I'd like the top four words (the HTML references) to match the bottom four words (just plain old text that is centered) Any help is appreciated!
