  1. Hello, I believe that other users also notice that squarespace load too many fonts than what it configured and show on "fonts on my site". The only trick that I’ve found to override it- is using adobe typekit. So now my site loads only the font and style that I set to it (two fonts). The build in option to use typekit in squarespace uses javascript. Now days (for few years) there is an option that adobe offer for typekit users to use the kit as css (inject to html or @import). I’ve tried it and it does make things quicker and with better results on website speed tests as google insight and others. But here is the problem – after few hours of disabling js of typekit – squarespace again started to load lot of fonts for no reason. So, what I want to ask from squarespace is simple – first stop to load unnecessary fonts that aren’t shown in site style as fonts in site. The second thing is to replace javascript of typekit with css loading of typekit. Where I can ask officially these features?
  2. On my site I have used variants of Monotype Grotesque throughout, but for some reason on the product page there are still examples of the old font. For example at the following website you can see the serif fonts are incorrect (product title, button text etc.) Please could someone explain the CSS code to fix this? http://www.honfordstar.com/shop/sweet-potato-by-kim-tongin-paperback
  3. Hi all, wondering if there's some easy css I can add to all my clients sites so that the font weight doesn't increase like it appears to do in Firefox? Hasn't been a huge concern until this current site I'm working on where it removes all the subtle texture and feel I'm wanting from the heading fonts. It looks terrible in Firefox! Firefox also really seems to boost the saturation of all colours... if there was a fix to that too, so that my sites look identical across all browsers that would be wonderful. https://wisteria-flounder-azc3.squarespace.com/ LTvet2 is the pw
  4. Across browsers, 7.1 is suddenly not rendering the font styles that were set in the design settings. Anyone else having this issue? All heading styles are appearing enormous (even though the setting says otherwise) and standard paragraph styles are smaller, etc.. When I attempt to edit in the font pack, they appear normal until after I hit save, then they revert back to being wrong. What's going on?
  5. Hi guys, How do you change the font on the nav bar to a custom font? I'm using the Camino template. Thanks in advance!
  6. Screenshot of my landing page. I just want to know if anybody has any feedback? I'm new to SQSP and want to make my website. People have said SQSP is difficult to use especially when it comes to SEO. If someone could help me refine the look if need be. If not then I'll move forward in purchasing.
  7. The question I'm trying to answer, but I believe I already have the answer to is, "Are Squarespace fonts copyrighted?" I love the way Squarespace designed its typeface and so I captured an image of my site title and I may or may have not committed a copyright infringement. Is there a way to get a license to use Squarespace's typefaces to put on a business card to market my blog through personal interaction? Please don't sue me Squarespace I really like your platform.
  8. Hi I'm building a portfolio site, using the Wexley template. I've bought a font online that I'd like to use consistently through my website. I was wondering if anyone knows the css code that would allow me to do this? I have extremely little experience with css code, so please be specific as possible. Thanks!Stephen
  9. I have been researching but nothing has worked for me, maybe because I need things explained a bit more detailed seen as I am not familiar with the whole coding and so forth. I have added my font file to the style editor but when instructions said to add a certain code to the page file, the code showed up on my page. I copied it as it was written...Here is what I have tried: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/5363/how-can-i-use-custom-fonts-via-css
  10. How do I change the font on text just on the page without changing it for the entire site (heading 1, normal, etc.)?
  11. Hello I am hoping someone can help me. I am using the Marquee theme for a Polish client and the affected font is Source San Pro. Glyphs used in Polish include ? ? ? ? ? but are being substituted by what appears to be Helvetica. As you can see, even this post is displaying the affected issue, unless of course you have the correct font loaded on your own system elsewhere. I would be extremely grateful if someone could explain how I can upload the font from my system so that the Marquee theme can push out to any browser. I have a feeling this can be done but I haven't any idea. My level is very basic for any follow-up HTML or CSS so please be descriptive if you can. PS Looking for a compromise I tried every other San Serif listed but none of them load missing glyphs. Thank you in advance. Please find a screen hot to illustrate the issue (I disabled the same font in Suitcases so that you could better understand)
