  1. Site URL: https://bulldog-shallot-5srp.squarespace.com/blog-2 Hi all Wondering if anyone has ran into this. I loaded custom fonts into a site and they are rendering perfectly except for 2 places: A button in the nav and the blog - i checked design/fonts/advanced and it's tagged header - but not recognizing the headers i loaded in that are showing up on the rest of the site. Thanks so much!
  2. Site URL: https://www.bijouxcreative.com/content-creation Hi guys, I implemented the below code so that I could use two different font styles in the same block. The code works so that anything I mark as bold, changes to the desired style I've put in the code. This works perfectly on desktop and mobile preview, however when checking the link on my phone, it doesn't seem to work (see screenshot attached). Any ideas on how I can fix this? - THE CODE - b, strong { font-family: 'Brandon Grotesque', sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-style: normal; font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: 0.04em; text-transform: normal; line-height: 1.4em; }
  3. Site URL: https://kindraleemurphy.com I played with the fonts of my custom css and accidentally saved it and my site is completed ruined. Does anyone know how to reinstall the custom design without messing it up any further? I'm nervous to do anything else without some direction.
  4. In COMMERCE --> CUSTOMER NOTIFICATIONS, how do we change the fonts in the various automated emails (order confirmation, order shipped, order refunded; customer account emails; etc.) and the font for the order summary & shipping info? The default fonts do not match the website and are not on-brand. Please let me know how to change the fonts so that the match the fonts on the website. Thank you!!
  5. Site URL: https://teal-cymbals-sys6.squarespace.com/ Hey All, I am having an issue with the Heading and Paragraph fonts on my site misaligning. It's most obvious in the footer and in stock newsletter blocks, but it is an issue sitewide. I am on 7.1 and am using custom coding from Squaremuse (Osaka theme) but with my limited coding knowledge I'm not seeing anything in the CSS or Javascript that would explain the issue. I have looked in the Site Styles at fonts, spacing, etc and can't find any reason this would be happening. Any ideas? Before you ask, yes I have been in touch with Squaremuse's support team, but haven't heard anything back about this issue yet. The password to the site is: bananas
  6. Site URL: https://2east8th.com I'm trying to reduce the number of loaded fonts to 1. We only use Roboto on the site yet 3 other fonts load as well. This impacts the page load speed even though they're not in use on the currently displayed page. Yes I have used Pingdom and it's an issue there too. Our mobile site load speed is pathetic (9) and many of the items that are listed as highest impact are the "Standard Squarespace Items You Can't Change". I recently performed an in depth check of all the page types and content types in the template and changed every font to Roboto. The extra fonts disappeared! I ran the speed test and suddenly it was a 4x gain! Hurrah! Next day I run the test again and we're back down to 10. I go back to the site styles and now all those fonts I disabled are back again. Am I doing this wrong or is this yet another thing I can't actually change even though it's having a negative effect on my site? Has anyone had any luck dealing with this?
  7. Hello, I believe that other users also notice that squarespace load too many fonts than what it configured and show on "fonts on my site". The only trick that I’ve found to override it- is using adobe typekit. So now my site loads only the font and style that I set to it (two fonts). The build in option to use typekit in squarespace uses javascript. Now days (for few years) there is an option that adobe offer for typekit users to use the kit as css (inject to html or @import). I’ve tried it and it does make things quicker and with better results on website speed tests as google insight and others. But here is the problem – after few hours of disabling js of typekit – squarespace again started to load lot of fonts for no reason. So, what I want to ask from squarespace is simple – first stop to load unnecessary fonts that aren’t shown in site style as fonts in site. The second thing is to replace javascript of typekit with css loading of typekit. Where I can ask officially these features?
  8. Site URL: https://monarchdesignint.com/door-styles Hello, I am trying to make some words bold and others regular on product titles. 9. Hi all, Does anyone know how to change the navigation menu to a custom font? I have uploaded my custom font and used it in H1, H2, H3, H4. Also, I am looking to change the font on my statements under the tiles. (See attached image where the 3 times are shown, I would like my own font where it reads social media management and so on) And Also, when clicking to the next page (see attached image) I would like the next/previous wording in my own font also. Thanks, Dave
  10. Hi all Im hoping to get two questions answered because the Squarespace editor is doing my head in.... and I need some advice. Fonts - how do you add in your own fonts to the website creator? Colour spaces - when I add a photograph into the website how should I be saving the files? because I find that my images look funny like the colours are overly saturated and slightly pixilated. to the above questions when I have played around on Wix... I have no problem adding new fonts and using them on the fly and in regards to colours again no issues. reason why I want to use square space is that the layouts are soooooo nice. I hope someone can help!

  12. Site URL: https://gar-dinosaur-9s8c.squarespace.com/config/design Hi all I've looked for the resolution for this and nothing worked. I managed to upload and update the font for the headings, but the logo(page title) and sections are still in the other font. Is there a custom css code I can place to change the type in the whole website? or at least the logo/sections? Many thanks in advance!

  14. Hello! Doing speed tests to my website I've observed that it takes so many time to load fonts that I don't actually use. I tired to remove them manually but I don't manage to do so. Another way is to use this tool https://cheers-studios.com/squarespace-font-optimizer but I can't use it since just circle members have access to the json style pack file. Anyone knows another way I can change all the used fonts on my website for just one? Thanks in advance,
  15. Site URL: https://www.thebreannaedit.com/ Hello! My site looks great on desktop, but on mobile my custom font 'Silk Serif' isn't loading. It isn't an adobe font or google font, but I have the .woff, .woff2 and .ttf files. Could anyone help me with why? It should be loading, my code looks like this: //fonts// //SILK SERIF LIGHT// @font-face{ font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Light.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Light.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Light.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; } //SILK SERIF REGULAR// @font-face{ font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Regular.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Regular.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; } //SILK SERIF MEDIUM// @font-face { font-family: 'Silk Serif'; src: url('SilkSerif-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'), url('SilkSerif-Medium.woff') format('woff'), url('SilkSerif-Medium.ttf') format('ttf'); font-weight: 500; font-style: normal; } //****SWEET SANS PRO****// //Sweet Sans Light// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Light Italic// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 500; font-style: italic; } //Sweet Sans Regular// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 600; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Medium// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; } //Sweet Sans Bold// @font-face{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro, sans-serif; font-weight: 800; font-style: normal; } //***MAJOR FONT CLASSES***// h1{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300; font-size: 48px; line-height: 1.1; /* or 48px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #1B1B1B; } h2{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-weight: 300; font-size: 36px; line-height: 1.2; /* or 40px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #1B1B1B; } h3{ font-family: 'Silk Serif', 'Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', serif; font-weight: 500; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.2; /* or 40px */ letter-spacing: -0.05em; color: #E7AEA3; } h4{ font-family: sweet-sans-pro; font-weight: 700; font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 0.055em; text-transform: uppercase; } Is this a common issue with custom fonts?   16. This font has disappeared on my website: Miller Banner and when I go to select another font, the one I click on is not displaying correctly. Has anyone else experienced this?
  17. Site URL: https://www.mela.co.nz Is there a way to universally override Squarespace's default fonts in a Brine template? I've created my first Squarespace site using my client's custom webfonts, loaded via the CSS panel. Once loaded, I've assigned these to p, H1, H2, H3, H4 in the CSS panel. But when browsing the site I still see Squarespace's default fonts here & there - like on mobile when I do a search, or when a page is not found. It's getting ridiculous adding CSS snippets to target every individual instance of the wrong (default) font. Can I assign my own overriding default font?
  18. I'm not seeing a place to set the Monospace font in the style editor. I see the Meta font. Am I missing something?
  19. Hi all, I had almost finished my site (trial period) and then lots of the settings changed without me doing it. The website width, some font sizes/styles (some fonts even bolded), format of photos, etc. My whole website went from unified, looking beautiful to every page now having a glitch and looking differently to how I had it. I haven't touched anything in the backend. Was just adding text content and photos today. If anyone has any ideas of what's going on please let me know. I'm totally confused and would love it sorted as its messed up each page of my website.

  21. Site URL: http://www.megaclean.org So I have followed this tutorial to change to a custom font. Unfortunately I can't use font squirrel to convert the font as the font company does not allow it. I have a web specific font that I have uploaded to the Squarespace server. But the font is loading. 24. Hi all. Please can somebody help me? I want two different font styles on my image overlay... I've looked everywhere for custom css but can't find a solution. I'm looking to have a client name large and then project name smaller underneath in another colour. I've currently got // to separate these two things as it's the only way I can think of. Your help would be massively appreciated! Thanks in advance, Beth
  25. Hi, I've been trying to speed up my website by removing all of the fonts and focusing on two: Open Sans and PT Seriff. I've gone through every heading, button, subtitle possible in site styles to know that these are the only fonts being used. However, when using Page Speed tools I can see that my website is being massively slowed down by loading both Adobe typekit and google fonts. Both Open Sans and PT Seriff are available in google fonts, there is no reason to load Adobe. Is it doing this because these fonts are available in both kits? I also ran an experiment where I used Google-only fonts, but my website was still loading typekit for no reason. I really would like some help with this issue, because its really hurting my SEO optimization. Thanks!
