Hello! Looking for some big help with event pages. Having trouble making both the main Events page and individual events pages look fit for purpose and not clunky and confusing. Using Summary Blocks as a bypass isn't an option as I need all events visible, rather than restricted to a set number. Hide End Date on all reference points (date tag on image, description in event) (ideally event End Time will still display) 1b. Event Date to list as SAT DD/MM (shortened Day and no year) 2. List events on Event page as a grid 3. Remove all other information / buttons etc on the Event main page so it's only the event image 4. In the individual events, have the Featured Image in a left column with all other info and text on the right (as below): Appreciate the help!

Hello👋, I need to embed a summary from one Squarespace website (www.clubejecutivas.com)to another (paises-clubejecutivas.com). I tried to do it, and it appears correctly (It's the section where is written "Actualidad"), but when I publish a new article, for example, it doesn't update in the website I embed the summary. Maybe it's the way I embed it, I inspected the code of the page and I took the code of the section where the summary was and then in the other website, I embed it. I already disabled the clickjack. I don't know what to do anymore, help me please 🙏

What CSS can I add to hide the word (map) from all of my events?

Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me, I'm currently using the Pacific template on 7.0 and I am trying to add an image block to the to the event info bar on the left hand side of an events listing (where I have drawn a red box on the image), from what I can see there isn't a way to do this natively so I was wondering if there is a way to put one in with CSS? Thanks for your help 🙂

It's really disappointing that we can't add events to our email campaigns. Anyone found a work around that doesn't require retyping or copying and pasting everything by hand before I give up?

Hello, I need to add additional images to the single event page. So I have a number of events set up with thumbnails. When I click on the event it takes me to the single event description. Is there a way to add a series of image blocks above the description? I.e. not just a big image using Classic Editor alongside the title. I can't find any code online that will work. Can someone please recommend a way to do this? Thanks

Online forums suggest just tick the box that asks if i want past events to show, but it doesn't seem to be in an option for this summary block in squarespace 7.1. I really don't want all the events to disappear and I'd prefer not to create a separate summary block of past events, as it can look quite clunky. Any advice would be much appreciated. I can't find a way to import blog posts (without another blog) or events. The API seems to only work with products. https://developers.squarespace.com/commerce-apis/overview Is there a blog or event API somewhere? Or has someone made a plug in to import posts or authors?

Hi all, My organization runs events through a service called Classy. You can see an example page of an event here: https://give.asianhalloffame.org/event/19th-asian-hall-of-fame-induction-ceremony/e520197. I would like to use the Squarespace event page as a one-stop listing of all our upcoming events as well as a backend that keeps track of our past events. However, as is, it seems that clicking the images on the page link to another Squarespace page. I would like images to link instead to external pages such as the example page above. Hi! Looking for some help customizing the margins and background image for event pages (all the individual event pages, as opposed to the Event page where all the events are listed). The default side margins are very thick in both the desktop and mobile views on these pages (which isn't happening anywhere else on the site). Ideally, I'd like the background image to fill the entire page (the same way it does on Home, About, FAQ, etc.). I also want my header style and background to carry over since they seem to be overridden here for some reason. Any help would be appreciated! Can I create events automatically using Zapier and Mighty Networks? I have a form that takes information about an event, and the data is currently stored on a Google sheet. I injected a javascript code to the events page which gets the lists of events on the Google sheet together with their info But that doesn't work with creating events as I can't access the events data or creation method used by Squarespace, so I'd love to know if there's any way to automatically create events using data supplied from the Google sheet

Hey folks! I've got a conundrum and I'm hoping y'all can help. A nonprofit radio client I'm looking to migrate over to SQSP has a complex schedule to display for their programming. It does not require ticketing, nor should it work like a calendar in the usual sense. Attached is a screenshot of what their program schedule looks like right now, which they're currently displaying as an image and linking off to a downloadable PDF. In a perfect world, each program on the schedule would link to a dedicated program page, but that's easy enough to do. What I need is an app/widget to build this out, but also allow the client to manage it easily. For the life of me, I can't find anything to accomplish this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would also like only part of the event blurb text to read in the homepage and then the full description (Which is rather lengthy) to display in the 'learn more' page link. I would like to create a recurring event that happens once a day for three weeks, but does not happen on Mondays or Tuesdays. The tool in Squarespace has a beginning date and time and an end date and time. When you choose this, the event calendar includes events for the days of the week where the event does not take place. Is there any way to indicate the days and times for each time the event is repeated? This seems like a common need. Please help! -
Hi there, I'm kind a looking for a complex system or integration for my esports website that needs the following features: - To register members, with unique User Names and Passwords, verification via email and/or SMS. - For the users to have their personal profile pages, with their user names and a list of competitions they have participated in - To register for gaming events (free and paid) with their user names and passwords. - To automise unique tickets with QR codes to be sent to their emails. - Scan QR codes at the venue to confirm attendance to the event. - To send marketing emails to members Currently I've managed to set up a system that can do all that but I'm using. Google Spreadsheets, automations with Zapier, and other system for QR code creation and Email Automations and SMS automations. If there's a way to combine everything and adding the component of member registrations, it would be the perfect solution for us. Any recommendation would be highly appreciated.

Since updating to V7.1 and fluid engine, when my site contributors duplicate or edit an event and hit save in the event settings dialog box a black rotating square appears where publish should be, (see screen capture). This also happens if you select BACK from the event settings and save on the main page. This never goes away and locks up the screen requiring them to exit the browser and log back in. The changes were saved but they must now publish as a separate edit step. Any additional edits requiring save repeat the problem. I do not have this problem as an admin but did create a contributor account for myself an have verified this happens.

Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to provide my users with a link to subscribe to my calendar in some way using the Event feature / block calendar. I am not seeing a way to provide access to iCalendar or the link. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer to use the Squarespace events since they look nicer, but could use Google Calendar if that is the better option. Appreciate any feedback!

Hi, On normal event entries, it shows the event image: However, on days when there's more than one event, it just shows the text: Is there a way to rectify this so it shows an image instead? So when you hover over the image, it shows links to both the events? Thanks!

Hi, We have a large scale education event that we want to have a full page dedicated to. I've found that event pages have significantly less customization options than standard pages, so I'm hoping to redirect an event URL to its own page. That way, the event still shows up in our Events tab, but has a more in depth page. I've tried going into Settings > Advanced > URL Mapping and entering this: /events/wild-fest -> /wild-fest 301 but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. How can I make this work? The main website is https://nocowildlife.org.

Hi All, I am just starting out my squarespace journey after frustrations around our current website and slow replies from the guy who built it. We are a lawn bowls club in Sydney and offer a range of different events; live music, community, sporting, Food & Bev. I haven't developed all of the content but have all the imagery required. The default calendar view of events looks amazing, but while we build up our catalogue of events may make the club look a little light on content. Can anyone give me some guidance on creating a page and functionality similar to this another local club has for their events - https://balgowlahrsl.com.au/whats-on/. I've tried every solution I could find here on the Circle forum, but none are working! page: https://theveil.squarespace.com/nfk (scroll down to "Upcoming Events" section) template: Royce I've got a Summary Block displaying Events, filtered by Category. When nothing matches the filter criteria, there is just a big black space on the page. I'd prefer it to automatically display text when the summary block is empty, like "There are no upcoming events at this location." Note: The Upcoming Events section on the page is actually a page (/nfk-events) nestled within an Index Collection (/nfk), in case it matters. Hello, I am trying to build up an automated and easy way to have a page with upcoming events, where people can register for a specific event. First of all, is there any automated way for this registration or do I need to create a separate registration page for each event which I manually connect to my 'Register' button, and on this page I manually need to create a submission Form for people to enter their names and emails? Secondly, I want people who register for my events to receive automatically a confirmation email with all the information about the event, 'Add to Calendar' Button and a link 'Learn more about this event' which redirects them back to the webpage of the event. Is there a way to have different confirmation emails according to the different events that I have? Is there a way to add this 'Add to Calendar' button without a third-party plug-ins and code? Thank you.
