  1. I'm trying to remove non-customer, in active profiles from site. Can someone provide a a solution? I will not make use of the squarespace email marketing integration until I can resolve this. Thank you! Jennifer
  2. Site URL: http://activateagency.co.nz Hi there, I'm wondering if there is currently any way to automate email campaigns to free members area subscribers? Eg. members receive an automatic email thanking them for registering and giving next steps; queue emails to arrive a certain period after they've registered for memberships etc? I know that I can automate to regular mailing list subscribers, but I can't see any way to set up the same automation for those who register as members, which seems like a pretty essential tool that I had honestly assumed would be available based on the combination of regular email automations & members areas. I've just migrated my email marketing from Mailchimp to Squarespace and created a Members Area for an online workshop programme we are delivering. We already have the list of approved members, so I have been able to import them successfully into a mailing list and send them an initial welcome email using a regular email campaign. However, I note that I can not manually add these participants into a membership and give them access to the members area - I have to email them again using the regular email campaign function, and ask them to register for the members area, at which point I'm unable to automate emails to them as free members rather than "customers". Even if they register as members to gain access to the members area and then I manually add them into an additional mailing list, then it's still not possible to automate an email sequence for them because they have to "subscribe" to the mailing list themselves... So it seems like the only way to be able to have the combination of 1. participants in a free membership + 2. automated emails enabled is to make people register for a membership AND then subscribe for an additional mailing list... which somewhat defeats the purpose of automating emails to get people engaged anyway. It would be wonderful to know if anyone has a good way around this, or if not whether this functionality is likely to be forthcoming in future? Thanks in advance!

This is the message I get when I log onto the Dashboard: "There was a problem with your email address We couldn’t reach the email address lmcvay@svs-training.com."
  4. Hello, I am wondering if a form can be submitted to multiple email accounts. I tried adding the various accounts (each one separated with a ; ) I need to receive the submitted form, but they were all removed when I saved the form. Any thoughts or suggestions to make this work without me having to manually foward the submitted form to the other people? Thank you.
  5. Hi there I'm working on a website and need to find out if you can do "secure mail/secure message" via Squarespace? It is a lifestyle consultant who would like customers to be able to send the person in question a message via the page - more personal things can be written in. The company has a decidedly secure e-mail - where tunnel-encrypted messages can be sent from another secure e-mail. But I don't think that is the solution. The solution is more of a box model on the page. Anyone have examples of sites in operation that have such a solution? Best regards Morten

Site URL: https://glasscityimprov.com/ I edit 3 sites on my dashboard, they seem to be connected to one email address, I need to separate them out to different emails as they are "owned" by different orgs/entities. For example, what happens if I no longer can edit 1 of the sites, but will still be editing the remaining 2 sites, can't I just hand that single site over to someone else and have them log in with their email?   8. I want to make sure I understand the details regarding domain name emails from SquareSpace. I've started a small business with 3 other partners and we'd like to have custom domain name emails for the business like fredsmith@ourcompany.com. 1. The only option for creating these through SquareSpace is to have a Google Workspace account? Is that true? 2. And then we have to pay for a Google Workspace account for at least $6/month/user, or $24/month for our 4 addresses. ($288/year) Is that true? 3. Just wondering if there are any cheaper workarounds like hosting the domain name at GoDaddy, could they then provide the domain name emails? Thanks in advance, John

The previous versions do, but not enterprise, the latest version. Does anybody know how to use the latest reCAPTCHA with Squarespace so I don't have to enter a secret key, since it doesn't exist? THANKS!
  10. We get hundreds of emails per day, and when replying we have to delete both highlighted lines. This is quite tedious to do every time. I don't want people clicking on the bottom one on accident (or otherwise), and I don't like the top line for many reasons. It might be confusing for people, they might try to reply to that email, etc..
  11. Site URL: https://www.slicklobster.com Hi All, I have a google workspace account which has been suspended - The Squarespace instructions tell me to go to Workspace and 'reactivate' my account. However, there is no option to reactivate the account - when I log in to Squarespace and go to workspace it only gives me the option of signing up with a new email address - I have tried using our current email address but it says they are already in use. When I log into google workspace it tells me that I have to go through the reseller. I have absolutely no way of reactivating and accessing our emails. We've had no business emails for 5 days now. I have tried contacting square space multiple times and still have nothing from them. The live chat only seems to be open during American business hours despite offering services to Australia as well. I'm desperately hoping someone can help me get the account reactivated.   12. When I receive or send an automated email from/through squarespace my email app, and that of some of my customers, has a picture/avatar/icon in the subject . I assume it's a picture of someone associated with squarespace. This is pretty annoying, is there any way to change the image?

  14. I was wondering if it is possible for a Member to change their email address, as I have had a few people signup using incorrectly spelled emails. Can they change it, or can it be changed on the admin side?
  15. I'm really lost for what to do here, and this is happening with several examples of email lists in csv format. I am trying to import a CSV of email signups that were people who came directly to a landing page and entered their information in order to receive ticket presale notifications. All of the emails are valid (I even recognize a handful of them) and are 100% voluntary signups of people who engage with our business. Additionally, there are a few I am importing from venues we work with. They are lists on which people opted into marketing communications. As for the quality of these email addresses, they MUST be real and valid and properly formatted - these are emails the customer used to receive order confirmations and tickets in order to attend an event. So in all of these cases, I get that error message, which is making me entirely regret migrating from MailChimp to SquareSpace for this part of our business. I get that spam and quality of email lists are a thing, I just can't think of a better example than voluntary signups by people who are clearly real individuals? I need a rather urgent resolution on this or else I will have to go back to MailChimp, so any help is appreciated!

  17. Hey everyone, I ran into a quick issue today that I am looking for a solution to, looking for any input. I have a form, which sends an email to my gmail. By default forms have a subject line. However when two customers put in the same subject gmail treats them as a conversation. I can turn off conversations, but they're awesome. What I would like is any way to control the subject line. It could be Contacts Us 03/11/2020 1:43:22 for all I care, it just needs to be unique. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks for looking!
  18. Hello, I searched the forums, but could not find the answer. This is my first post. I setup pickup delivery options using the new feature. However, I am trying to edit the Ready for Pickup email notification, but can't seem to find where the information is being pulled. The email information is greyed out (See screenshot below). I am not sure where the address or hours are being pulled from. I tried editing a few fields, including settings, business information, but no matter what I have tried the test emails come back with the generic info as shown below. Ideally, I would be able to remove the address and hours as I do not own a physical business and pickup location and time varies by order. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With Squarespace switching up the email edit style for 7.1, I'm having issues with the content that fires to the customer post-order. What I want to do is simple. I want to remove a line of text in the email order confirmation which states: "We will be in contact shortly regarding the services you have ordered." I really have no clue why Squarespace thought that'd be a good idea for every product imaginable. Can anyone help me with some coding to remove this line from the email sent post-order?   21. Hi, Can anyone help? My contact form emails submitted through Squarespace keep grouping up and I miss one or 2. I believe it is because the emails that come into Gmail with the same subject which is why this is happening. I know there is a thread conversation tick box in Gmail to stop that but is there any other way of stopping this? some kind of code?

Site URL: https://michael-thomas-lzx7.squarespace.com/ We have several newsletter signup forms on this site: About Us, Blog, Article #2, Article #2, etc. In Analytics > Form & Button Conversions, I can see stats for each form. Is there a way to export submissions that came through specific forms? For example, only submissions that came through the form on our About Us age. When I check config/profiles/subscribers, I can see our whole list, but I don't have the data to filter by form location.
  23. Hi, I'm currently choosing a plan, but am unclear on this one point: Can you set up a form to collect visitors' email addresses on the Personal plan? I looked at the help articles but they don't mention what exactly is included in which plan. Can I also ask: does it have to be Google Workspace for email collection or can one use any third-party email provider? Thanks for any advice on this!
  24. Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help, my client has had his Squarespace site for nearly five years now and all of a sudden the email on the contact form has stopped receiving emails. I have tried deleting the whole page and starting it again, I have tried moving the contact form but still there are no email enquiries.
