  1. Site URL: https://grouper-glockenspiel-5ms6.squarespace.com/ I need to be able to have an internal button - NOT the main nav at the top - that let's people choose a page to go to. i.e. "Search the US" and the dropdown lets them choose various cities. Again, not the main nav. This is within a page. Any idea how to do this now with Fluid and 7.1? - NOT an accordion as I understand it. There's no secondary content to open up. Thanks for any help!
  2. Hello, I'm trying to add an accordion/dropdown to a website (it's still in trial at the moment so can't share web link). It is going to be used on a page showing the team of a company, so within each entry it also needs to include a picture of them. I have used the standard markdown used for an accordion, which by itself (without an image in it) works fine. I have then used an HTML image reference within it, and when it does this, only the first name appears. And when it is opened/clicked, the next name then appears below it (and so forth). But then when you close the top name, they all disappear (apart from the top one). I have also tried created an animated collapsible using HTML, CSS and Java (https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_collapsible.asp). This code was copied exactly, using a code block for the HTML, adding the CSS into the custom CSS, and adding the Javascript into the page specific code injection. The list options are created, but don't actually open when clicked on. If anyone can provide any insight into how to get either of these solutions to work that would be greatly appreciated. Screenshots are attached for reference. To confirm, I'm using the Henson template. Many thanks, James
  3. Site URL: https://www.erheer.com/shop/ariel Hi Squarespace Wizards, I am trying to install a dropdown accordion in the description of a physical product. Unfortunately Squarespace doesn't have the option to add a markdown box in the description of a product(screenshot 1). I have add the code block and the markdown box in the additional Info (screenshot 2) but that shows at the end of the page after all the product photos at the moment. I'd like the dropdown to be a part of the product description itself (screenshot 4) and not at the end of the page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Divya
  4. Site URL: https://wvcharge.squarespace.com/waev-charge-store/p/waev-charge-ev1 Is it possible to change the layout of the dropdown boxes on the products page so there is two per line rather than one under each other? Is it also possible to make the text bold above the dropdown box? Page example: https://wvcharge.squarespace.com/waev-charge-store/p/waev-charge-ev1 Many thanks
  5. Site URL: https://www.frotteedimare.ch/ Hi all! I am trying to implement a Weglot language switcher in my secondary navigation (https://www.frotteedimare.ch/, top right corner), aiming to imitate the functionality of the native Wiglot language switcher (at the bottom of the page) but having it seamlessly integrated in the existing design. So far i have a dropdown menu (folder) with one link in it ("EN" for English). The link is working (using "#Weglot-en" as link), following the description from this site: https://blog.weglot.com/switching-around-on-squarespace-how-to-design-your-language-button/ Whats does not work so far is getting me back to German using the folder title. I tried to put custom code into the folders navigation title, like: <a href="#Weglot-de">DE</a> As explained in: https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/11723-how-do-i-link-a-folder-title-within-the-navigation-to-a-page/ This creates a link, but does not work. Am i wrong with the address of the link? I would love not having an additional link in the dropdown folder for the second language. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Hey, I'm building my site in 7.1 (mainly to get to grips with using it) and I've come across one problem I can't seem to fix. The dropdown navigation has white text & a white background(image attached) My header colour palette is yellow, whereas the main website has a white background, I'm wondering if this is part of the problem. It'd be greatly appreciated if anyone can find any workaround for me. Site is here: https://hexaflexagon-star-bh8p.squarespace.comPasword: 123123
  7. Site URL: https://www.noiristhenewnoir.com/contact Hello, I'm trying to find out how to make the drop down menu on my navigation transparent or translucent rather than a black box. Can anyone other any assistance?
  8. Site URL: https://laurenalanedesign.com/shop/p/leo Each of my products have drop-down menus for "size" and "quantity". I'd like to make the 2 drop-down menus appear side-by-side instead of stacked on the desktop view. On mobile, I'd like them to stay stacked, so they don't get too tiny. I also can't figure out how to make them the same width -- "quantity" always shows up smaller, even when I adjust the "form width" option in the section editor. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! 🙂
  9. Site URL: https://www.goldspringhempwholesale.com/home Hello! Is there a way to add an arrow to menu links that have a dropdown folder similar to the screenshot below (doesn't have to be red)? I tried the css code below, but it was unsuccessful. Any help would most appreciated! - Thanks! .header-nav-item.header-nav-item--folder a.header-nav-folder-title:after { content: "▾"; }
  10. Site URL: https://www.history-ink.com/ Hi there! Is it possible to have my drop down align left not right?
  11. Site URL: https://www.virginiachen.com/ Site: https://www.virginiachen.com/ Looking for Help on CSS: 1. A full drop down menu that covers the whole page like how a default burger works on mobile. (E.g. HERE) 2. On top of Q1, would it be possible to stylise the full-page drop down as a blur to the background effect, and have all the page links on the right hand side? 3. If all of those above possible, how do I make the design consistent on mobile? TIA! 😊
  12. Site URL: https://goldchain.studio/ Hey Squarespace gang! 🙂 I have a dropdown menu on my website and randomly an underline appeared under the first link in the dropdown on both browser and mobile view and I haven't figured out how to remove it. I've done some forum sleuthing and tried some of the custom css recommendations but to no avail. Anyone have any experience with this and have any tips on how to remove? Also while we're at it, I like having a simple "+" that hovers for my dropdown menu but I'd like to remove this stage in the mobile view so you don't have to flip through 2 stages to get to the navigation menu. Any tips on how to remove the "+" on mobile view? Here's a link to my site! https://goldchain.studio/
  13. I'm new to the editor and am trying to stylize the new Accordion block nicely within my site. @tuanphan Has anyone figure out any code that can stylize the accordion block to include an animated drop down. All the best!!
  14. Site URL: https://www.thewomanssanctum.com Hi all, I've built a website on the Colima template (www.thewomanssanctum), and have used the following code to add the dropdown arrow to the header menu. /* dropdown arrow */ .header-nav-item.header-nav-item--folder a.header-nav-folder-title:after { font-family: FontAwesome; content: "\f107"; padding-left: 4px; } I've noticed that when I'm in edit mode the menu options all line up horizontally, but when out of edit more (and live) the menu items with the dropdown arrow appear slightly lower than the other menu items. Attached is an image - the top menu is in edit, the bottom is in live - I've added a horizontal line to highlight the drop. Has anyone seen this before and can suggest a fix? Many thanks, Dave
  15. Site URL: https://www.telecare.com.au/ Hi - I'm having issues with the drop down menus in the header of this webpage. Whenever someone makes the window for their browser smaller it makes the header become more squashed and results in the drop-down boxes becoming unreadable as they are transparent and the letters clash with the other drop down menus behind them. I hope I explained that okay :). Also a sub issue - I am also not sure how to edit the drop down menus anyway as whenever I click on the header to edit it, there never seems to be an option for me customize them - It only seems to let me fiddle with the logo and the "button" - apologies if these are rookie questions I'm very new to the website.
  16. Site URL: http://tylerjamesdesigns.com Hi! I've received wonderful help for my previous questions on the drop down menu. However, I've been looking all over and I can't seem to find a way to add a sub-menu to my drop-down menu. Something like the picture I've attached to this forum. I'm not sure if there's an actual way to do this on squarespace but any help would be greatly appreciated. My website is http://tylerjamesdesigns.com and the password is "1234".

  18. Hello everyone, I'm trying to create an easy journey for our customers by creating a few "select boxes" with conditional dropdown menu that leads to a different call-to-action depending on what they selected. so something like this: select condition 1 -> condition 1.1 -> condition 1.1.1 -> call-to-action Sorry if this isn't clear enough, thank you in advance for any help
  19. Site URL: https://www.papercityfabrics.com/shop Hi! I'm looking for help changing the navigation style for my shop (https://www.papercityfabrics.com/shop). Right now, all categories show up at the top. I would like to make two changes: 1. Change shop navigation to a drop down menu, where you hover over a primary category (ex. "fabric") and then the sub-categories appear underneath. 2. I also would like to stop categories from appearing in the navigation if there isn't an item currently sold in that category. This comes up when we schedule a product in a new category (the product doesn't show up until the scheduled time, but the category appears right away). Thanks!
  20. Site URL: https://emu-paddlefish-na7r.squarespace.com Hi, I'd like a 'services' link in client's site navigation which brings up their services landing page, but this link should also be a dropdown to pages for each individual service. With the folder I need to add the services pages as top link, which isn't user friendly. Is there a way around this? Thanks
  21. Site URL: https://www.lpugh.com/ Hi there, Was wondering if you could help me? I am using a folder (titled "Fire Protection") to create a dropdown list in the top menu of a site I'm working on. I want the folder titled "Fire Protection" to link to this page /fireprotection. However, I want the dropdown menu items beneath it to not be linked (essentially an un-clickable list). I found a code that achieves this on desktop. On mobile, however, when you click on the folder title it just opens up the un-clickable list instead of linking to the page like on desktop. Is there a way to maybe hide the dropdown menu on mobile and just have the folder title direct to /fireprotection? Thanks in advance!
  22. Site URL: https://chloe-chow.squarespace.com/contact?noredirect Hello, I have a question related to my contact form. I have customised the radio and check box along with my select / drop down field. Here is my website: https://chloe-chow.squarespace.com/contact?noredirect pw: creativegrind I am trying to add back an arrow at the end of my select field however it's not working. Do you have an idea on how to do it ? I think I am using the wrong selector to add my arrow :after . Here is the code below : // *** CUSTOMIZED OPTION DROP MENU /* Resetting the Option menu */ .form-wrapper select { -webkit-appearance: none; -moz-appearance: none; appearance: none; border: @line solid;//*// border-radius: 5px; padding: 1rem; width: 100%; } /*Add an arrow*/ .sqs-block-form .field-list .option select:after { content:'⇲'; color: red !important; position: absolute; display: block; top: 55%; transform: translateY(-50%); right: 8%; pointer-events: none; } // Option Menu when Focused .form-wrapper select:focus, a:focus { outline-width: 0px; outline-style: solid; } What do you think ? Thanks !!
  23. Site URL: http://tylerjamesdesigns.com Hello! I have a question regarding the highlighting words on my drop down menu. I was wondering if it possible for the words in my drop down menu to highlight when I hover my mouse over it. If I could get help on this or even the coding it would be highly appreciated! My website is tylerjamesdesigns.com.
  24. Site URL: https://www.a3dimpressions.com/new-page-blank I would like to add a dropdown menu to images in my site. Any way to do so? These are images that are imported to individual image blocks.
  25. Hi, I'm in Version 7.1 and I want to increase the vertical spacing/padding between items in the drop down menu. So in the attached image, more vertical space between "Doodle Line Art" and "Lino Print Stars" etc. Also, I might want to change the font highlight colour when a submenu item is clicked on/selected, so if anyone has any code for that, it would be appreciated. Thanks
