  1. Hi, we're reorganizing content on our new site and would like to consolidate some of the various pages we've had made. Is it possible to move a block of content from one page to another, or to "merge" multiple pages together? I'd really rather not recreate the whole page from scratch. Any help is welcome, I tried searching the guide but was unable to find advice there. Thanks.
  2. Hi there! I am working on a website for a client and noticed the mobile version has a cream 'block' on top of the page. Does anyone know how I can either remove whatever this is? Or know where I could change this so it reflects the color of the page? Thanks!
  3. I'm just getting started with Squarespace. With very little discretion when I set it up I randomly picked a design template. I didn't like it after a while, but I couldn't figure out how to pick a different one. So I mucked about with the styles to try and fix it and ended up in a dark place where I now hate my site. Is there a way to wipe the slate clean and start all over again from the beginning? Like a factory reset?
  4. Earlier today 12/1/2022 I had some option in my add section area and in my section edit options to save and reuse sections. I used it a bit this morning and it was nice but now its gone. Where did it go?
  5. I don't like how the "Sold Out" tag is displayed. It is shown with small caps and a brown color. I want it like I've written it (the S and the O as capitals, and the rest lowercase), in italic and white color. I also don't like how it's on the very right of the image, making it too close to the next product's name. I'd like to have it next to the product's name, like this: Futur solitari Sold Out Can I do both changes?
  6. Hello. I am working on a client site and would love guidance (css) for how to transition from desktop to mobile and to have the following section in mobile lay out the cards with two per row since the content is super limited and the current layout requires too much scrolling. I have some css code already which I thought would help optimize the mobile experience but it doesn't seem to help with this specific issue. I've attached an image of the desktop version [6 across] and mobile version [1 across]. Does anyone have the CSS code to adjust this? I'd also welcome any additional suggestions with optimizing resizing for mobile (I am relatively new at this). Thank you in advance! https://hibiscus-dachshund-wk7b.squarespace.com/config/ pw: forumhelp1

  8. I would like to change the size of the grid image in my portfolio projects but I can't figure out how to do it. I can change the width by using the CSS code below but not the height of the project .grid-image { width: 100% !important; }
  9. Hi! Here I am once again. 😉 I am almost finished with my website, woohoo! I just checked the way my website looks on all different devices, and some thing are definitely off on tablet view. I added some screenshots to show what I want it to look like vs what it looks like now. For example: the about page looks good on both mobile and laptop (I used custom css to show 2 different sections and therefore layouts in laptop and mobile, but I would like to have the mobile view only on mobile, and the laptop layout also on tablet. Also some buttons look weird, and words are cut off in random spots in the tablet view. Can someone please help me? I am not able to write codes myself. password: Illusterre2022 Thanks so much!
  10. Why exactly are logos so important? Logos help set the tone for your business, as they are often your brand’s first impression on potential customers. As we know, our brains can process images more quickly than text, so having a logo helps users identify and remember your brand. Think of it as your company’s ID in your customers’ minds, it’s how you stand out among your competitors. How did you decide on your logo? What do you like most about it? What core message or feeling did you want your logo to convey? Tell us all about your logo in the comments below! P.S. If you’re looking to create a business logo, check out Squarespace’s Free Logo Maker to get started. You can also learn more about logos with our Help Guide: Creating a great logo.
  11. How can I create a loading screen with a vector I have created? It's a word that the letters are see through, I would like it to slide from the left then scale up when it's reached the end of the the word so that you see the site. I would need the screen to be an off white colour as we are currently re designing the site. I'd like this to only appear when you first load onto the site.
  12. 🚨New text editing tool alert— introducing text highlights. As the name suggests, this is a new way to highlight specific text on your site, designed specifically to give your copy some flare. Whether you’re into a structured look or a whimsical look, you can use text highlights to showcase what you want to be seen. For example, you may want to highlight your brand’s motto to ensure your customers know your ethos or to emphasize a specific phrase in a paragraph. Whatever you want to do, you can choose between 11 highlight styles, additional styling options, and animations to get the job done. In the screenshot above, you’ll see that I chose to highlight the “Our Story” heading of my text and one of the brand’s value props to help me share my story. That’s just one example, but there are many more possibilities. Speaking of those possibilities… show us what you’ve created! We’d love to see how you’re using text highlights on your site.
  13. I'm designing a site currently and we have a lot of information to cover, I want to be able to use this style section as it seems to be the easiest way to get this information in, but I don't want the 'body' text to show at all times. I would rather a 'see more' button/link or plus / arrow that drops down like an accordion block would. I could use accordions with images, but then I wouldn't have the infinite scrolling across feature that I need (there are a lot of items i need to add). Is there some custom code I could use to achieve this? Site is here: https://olinathecaravan.squarespace.com/see-do password is: jesleacreative Thank you in advance!
  14. I would like to change the size of the grid image in my portfolio projects but I can't figure out how to do it. I can change the width by using the CSS code below but not the height of the project .grid-image { width: 100% !important; }
  15. Happy thanks giving everyone! Please see attached images for details, I photoshopped couple renderings showing what I'm looking for, appreciate who can help me on this issue, I'm with business plan: I'm looking to put dozens of review cards/testimony in one section with slider buttons, would be great if i can keep all cards the same size, and integrate "show more" button with long texts. a floating window showing full texts when you click "show more" button. Please let me know thank you!
  16. Hi Could someone help me, I've recently transferred over the ownership to my client and they have given full permission as a contributor & website editor. I need to still access the website 'design' element to change colours, fonts etc but this section isn't showing. How can we resolve this? Many Thanks Nathan
  17. I've got a strange phenomenon: all of a sudden my blogposts have an additional padding AFTER the title. Can't find anything in the page design and would love to change that if it's not too much hassle. Won't be able to move the page to 7.1 before the end of the year. I've already tried to remove any custom css both from the blog header as well as site-wide to no avail.
  18. Site URL: https://jimgoldberg.fr/ Hi, Everytime I click on any clickable element of my website a thin dotted line surrounding the object appears. (image attached) Would anyone know how to remove it using css codes ? Thanks in advance for you help 🙂 WEBSITE PASSWORD : Segura70
  19. Site URL: https://www.alifelessordinary.store/shop/p/mother-of-pearl-shell-cups Hello, I would like to hide the price on sold items on the product page, and also on the related products (which are sold) on the same page. I currently have code to hide the sold price on the 'shop' page but it does not work on the product page and the price still show when sold. current code is: .sold-out .sqs-money-native { display:none; } .view-item .sold-out .sqs-money-native { display:block; } Any help would be most appreciated! Thankyou. Emma
  20. Hello everyone, I am a wellness coach and teacher and designed my own website. I wanted to ask if anyone of you would be willing to take a look at my website and give me any suggestions on how to improve it. It shows up high on Google search, but I don't get many orders through it. If you know of any course or other resource to help me, I'd appreciate it as well. Many thanks and blessings. My website is dervesh.ca
  21. I'm trying to design a landing/home page which has a plain colored background, an image, and a phone number with no Footer. I can add sections of color and insert a photo, but there's always a white area at the bottom of the page. What I would really like is one section to fill the page and insert the photo and number. How many blank sections should it take to fill a page? This seems like such a simple thing to do. I tried using css on the page to just change to background, but that doesn't seem to work. body { background-color: #E8E67D !important; } Am I missing something simple here?
  22. Hi there. I'm interested in creating a simple Squarespace site and would love a bit of advice. Basically I want to create a really straightfoward advent calendar, much like the attached picture. I have an image that I've created and 24 different images for the different days. I'd like to be able to let people click on the doors as Christmas goes on and have them open up and reveal a picture within, so It will need 24 clickable buttons in different places all over the page that hopefully open up in situ, not needing to click through to a different page. Does anyone have any ideas about how I might do that? Thanks in advance
  23. I built our first SS site in 2014 to serve as the primary web site for our U.S. 501c3 non-profit. Current template is “Sonny.” I am seeking feedback on existing site and what I should change if I rebuild in a new SS version. I’m told I can’t migrate to a higher version of SS from my existing site. What advantage would their be to changing to a higher version? What template(s) would one recommend if we change? Critical components needed: 1. As described on existing site, we support 4 primary NGO’s in Uganda. Primary ministry areas are children's rescue home and education. All income is donation based. 2. Child sponsorships: I use SS blogs to store/present each child's bio, sponsorship link and photo by children's home (we have 3). I use tags and categories to track groups and subgroups of children. As you can image this is laborsum given that we support 150+ children and growing. This has worked ok but there must be a better way. I don’t like the limitations of how to present blogs in summary blocks. I am limited to I think 30 but if I have more than 30 children I can’t present them unless I subgroup them using categories. Example page: https://www.sonriseministriesinc.org/ch-children/junior-nicolus-kibuka 3. Would like to simplify the site as much as possible. I’m sure we can thin the content. 4. I wish we had a few more text styles than few that are offered under Sonny. 5. I am an army of one. No help and I’m not rich. 5. All the photography on the site is mine. 6. We do not sell products. 7. I need advice on how to direct more people to the site when all our news and social media posts highlight most of the news. Thank you Art
  24. Site URL: http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ I'm struggling to find a way to remove the negative/blank space on the mobile view of my website. Viewing on desktop the design is how I would like it, swithcing to a mobile view you'll see a lot of negative white space between my header, and the image slideshow. I've been hunting around the design section of the edit menu, but cannot find a way to remove this space, which doesn't affect the design of the desktop version. http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ Thank you
  25. Hi, I would like to have my navigation links either side of my logo. I'm currently using Irving template and is doesn't look like this template supports this feature. What templates do support this feature? I'm using the latest version of Squarespace.
