  1. Site URL: https://www.chenluwang.me/dreaming-elf Hi I would like to keep this part sticky when I scroll the screen, I used this code but it could not work at all. Thanks a lot! @media screen { #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1638743045081_250450 .sqs-block-content{ position: sticky; position: -webkit-sticky; top: 100px; } }
  2. I'm here out of desperation as I've wasted hours messing about with overcomplicated gallery options. I simply want my images within a gallery page to have a horizontal scroll, not vertical. (Not a carousel slideshow, where one image at a time is visible and responsive features are used). I haven't been able to find a way of searching SS templates by the availability of a horizontal scroll for image content. Templates like 'Ishimoto' offer no adjustment to image padding. A good example would be the 'Horizon' themes by Format - basic code, uncomplicated clean look. A perfect example on a functioning website would be: https://www.the7thmember.xyz/ I feel like I'm missing something that should be really easy to find, but Gallery Blocks and Gallery Pages are both lacking a basic 'I want it going sideways' option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Big thanks.
  3. Is it possible to create a horizontal scrolling design on squarespace? like the following examples: BANILA STUDIO kern inc. Thecs – Portfolio WordPress Theme (3theme.com) Roberto. - Onepage Horizontal Personal CV/Resume HTML Template Preview - ThemeForest Thanks in advanced!
  4. Hi, I'm currently working on building a site. I wanted to use this code to have an animated gradient background. body { margin:0; } .wrapper { width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; background: linear-gradient(60deg,#fffdf8, #ffcae0); background-size: 600% 100%; animation: gradient 5s linear infinite; animation-direction: alternate; } @keyframes gradient { 0% {background-position: 0%} 100% {background-position: 100%} } I've pasted in to 'Custom CSS' section but can't see it working. Do I need to add some more code for it to work? This is the link to the css I want to use. https://codepen.io/redstapler/pen/LMyLxP Thanks in advance.
  5. Site URL: https://www.leoupikou.com/about Hello everybody, I would like to ask for your help to improve the design of my site on mobile view. I saw a lot of posts with similar questions but I haven't been able to find the right solution for me. I would like to change the way the elements are displayed on my about page. -- On desktop it's the following: 1/ Text - Image 2/ Image - Text 3/ Text - Image -- But on mobile it ends up being: 1/ Text 2/ Image 3/ Image 4/ Text 5/ Text 6/ Image -- I would like to have this instead: 1/ Text 2/ Image 3/Text 4/ Image 5/ Text 6/ Image -- I've tried several CSS codes but nothing gave me a satisfying result. The page is built with 3 blocks, each containing a text and an image. So probably only a code is needed to swap the content in the middle block on mobile. Any help would be more than appreciated. The password of the site is the following: diwvik-wugwi8-kavtIc Thank you in advance!
  6. Site URL: http://www.graciavintage.com On mobile, if you're in a category the only way to get to another category is to navigate all the way back to the main shop screen. I would love to be able to keep the category menu visible at the top of the screen after you click into a category. I've seen workarounds posted on here, but only ones that affect both desktop and mobile, and I'd like to keep my desktop navigation as it is.
  7. Site URL: https://tinycoastdigital.com/digital-marketing-for-beginners-course Hi all, I built out an online course that links out to the Thinkific platform. Ideally, the course would exist within Squarespace. Is anyone aware of any upcoming plans for Squarespace to create a course creation feature? Alternatively, has anyone used member areas to create the experience of an online course, and would you recommend it? Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

  13. Site URL: https://rewildprojects.co/ Hi guys, Quick caveat: I'm a complete newbie to Squarespace and have almost zero understanding of code 🙂 I have created a website for me brand consultancy (rewildprojects.co) and I have an issue whereby when I scroll up or down on my mobile site, the text and fonts change size. Video for reference can be found here. I'm using Safari 14: https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/b/L8CBA Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? My fried helped me add some code to the site (to help with my custom font and size of an image on mobile). The custom code is here for reference: /*******FONTS**********/ h1, h2 { font-family: new-spirit-condensed, serif; font-weight: 400; } /* CSS FOR TABLET AND MOBILE */ @mobile: ~"only screen and (max-width: 640px)"; @tablet: ~"only screen and (min-width: 641px) and (max-width: 949px)"; /* CSS FOR TABLET */ @media @tablet { .sqs-block-image { width: 20%; margin: 0 auto; } } /* CSS FOR MOBILE */ @media @mobile { .sqs-block-image { width: 20%; margin: 0 auto; } } --------- Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you Dave
  14. Site URL: https://www.matzkedesigns.com My website uses the SUPPLY template and I have all my color settings for the font to be black. I have used this same template for over a year. Recently I was printing invoices and not only is the font super light on screen, but it prints just as light. It's almost illegible. Is there a setting I'm missing? I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to change the font to be darker. Sending these out as receipts to clients look like I need to change my ink, but I don't - they don't look professional. Thank you
  15. Site URL: https://www.ggapd.com I would like to remove the page name in the top right corner of my website on desktop view and the menu icon in the top right corner on mobile view. How can I do this? Also, is there a way to set the page to be static? I'd like to treat it as a digital business card – no scrolling, purely contact info. Sometimes when I view the site on different devices, my one image show white margins or allows me to scroll a fraction. Please advise!
  16. Site URL: https://www.sommerfuglen-fyn.com/ Hi! I really want to change the font of my header 1 just on the front page as well as change the font of one sentence. Does anyone know how I can do this??? Best, Christine
  17. Site URL: https://www.theeverydayimproviser.com Site URL: https://www.theeverydayimproviser.com Hi, I am new to Squarespace and am trying to figure out how I can do a full bleed background image that overlaps sections on my site; between header and section one for example as shown below. I want to do this in different forms across the site so it would be awesome to figure out how! Thank you so much! Password: theeverydayimproviser
  18. Site URL: https://www.ssteart.com I have created a back to top button on my site using this code: While it works great in pretty much every way I found that when moving to another page the button is already there as soon as the new page loads (it should appear while scrolling down). If I start scrolling down and then up it starts behaving normally, but I would like to fix it so that when loading a page the button doesn't show up unless I scroll down a bit. Would that be possible? Thank you.
  19. Site URL: https://broadbelt.net/ Hi lovely people, I have designed a group of vector elements that I'd like to add to my H1s and H2s as visual highlights. Can anyone help me with some custom code to do this? I have attached some examples of what I'm after. Thank you! Sam
  20. Hi Community, I need a big big help.. I am in a bit of a pickle. I created a bio page with a Ghost Plugin that worked really amazing! However, I realized, that I've been using the summary block for other content on my site, which means that the customization will be added to every summary block I used on the site which is a big No No, because for other content it looks terrible. Is there a way to use the Code below on only One summary block? Also, can I fix the height of that code so that the length of the block is the same? Thank you!! Code: // Summary Block Title // .sqs-block-summary-v2 { .summary-title, .summary-heading { font-family: montserrat; font-weight: 200; font-size: 18px !important; line-height: 23px; color: #1941a9; } } // Summary Block Excerpt // .sqs-block-summary-v2 { .summary-excerpt p { font-family: europa; font-weight: 300; font-size: 17px !important; color: #2c2c2c; } } //* Summary block hover black and white*// .summary-item img { transition: .5s ease-in-out; filter: grayscale(1); } .summary-item img:hover { filter: none; } // Hover Grid Summary Blocks // .sqs-gallery-design-autogrid .summary-item { transition: box-shadow .5s, transform .5s; //change the seconds (one or both values) to make the animation faster or slower } .sqs-gallery-design-autogrid .summary-item:hover { box-shadow: 1px 10px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1); //you can alter the px values and rgba color to change the shadow style on hover transform: translateY(-10px); //you can change the px value to make the slide go higher up (negative number) or further down (positive number) on hover } // Leaflet Summary Block Design // .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item { background-color: #f2f5f9; border: 1px solid #BCBCBC; border-radius: 30px 0px 0px 0px; -webkit-box-shadow: 0px 0px 15px rgba(100, 100, 100, 0.1) !important; -moz-box-shadow: 0px 0px 15px rgba(100, 100, 100, 0.1) !important; box-shadow: 0px 0px 15px rgba(100, 100, 100, 0.1) !important; } // Leaflet Summary Block Image Radius // .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-thumbnail { border-radius: 30px 0px 0px 0px; } // Leaflet Summary Content Padding // .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item .summary-content { padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; } // Leaflet Summary Block Button // .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item-record-type-text .summary-read-more-link { display: inline-block; margin-top: 20px; background: #4FDBA2; color: white; border: 0px solid white; border-radius: 50px; padding: 10px 20px; }
  21. Site URL: https://www.milehighaccessoriesllc.com/ This is my first ever website so I would LOVE to get some feedback, both negative and positive are ok 🙂
  22. Site URL: https://www.nauti-bar.com/ I've injected the HTML code provided by Facebook to display comments on my page. I have data-width="100%", however the mobile version is not displaying the width at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem? I've included my code below: <div class="fb-comments" data-href="https://www.nauti-bar.com" data-width="100%" data-numposts="5" data-order-by="reverse_time"></div>
  23. I noticed there is quite a bit of padding in between sections that creates a ton of white space and emptiness. How can I reduce the padding in between all sections to make for a seamless website? This is for my web portfolio showcasing designs and project details. I've been experiencing difficulty fitting slideshows, simple images, and plain text boxes without too much padding in between sections. Thank you!
  24. Site URL: http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ I'm struggling to find a way to remove the negative/blank space on the mobile view of my website. Viewing on desktop the design is how I would like it, swithcing to a mobile view you'll see a lot of negative white space between my header, and the image slideshow. I've been hunting around the design section of the edit menu, but cannot find a way to remove this space, which doesn't affect the design of the desktop version. http://bradleystearn.co.uk/ Thank you
