  1. I have a weird issue whenever I try to use the innerHTML function in an embedded block. The function does not seem to work properly when multiple blocks are embedded on the same page. Multiple blocks all display the same image even if the code is different. I don't believe this is a coding issue on my end because if I replace innerHTML with textContent, the data pulls correctly. Anyone else have this issue? Images have been attached for clarity. This is the exact same JS, but one uses getElementByID('element').textContent, and the other uses getElementByID('element').innerHTML You can see that the textcontent pull has different data while the innerHTML returns identical data.
  2. I am trying to embed SVG code to use as my image rather than using a JPEG snippet of my SVG code. My photo page will be filled with SVG art images rather than photos, so I would much prefer to embed the actual code. Is there a way to do this on squarespace?
  3. Hi community, I'm using a custom font and I've been able to change the h1,h2,.. styles into the correct font with CSS...but I can't do the same for the product titles. I need urgent help. Thanks in advance!!
  4. I'm using the Henson template for my personal portfolio, I really like the simple homepage that only shows the page description. The only problem I have with the template is that the description also shows up at the end of every page on top of images making it unreadable and quite messy. Is there a way, using custom code, to only have the description show in the homepage and nowhere else? or alternatively is there a way to fill in the text with a solid color? Thanks
  5. Hi, I'm working with an apparel client who would like to offer custom-fit clothing. I was wondering if anyone knew of a third-party tool like this to integrate into a squarespace site. Alternatively, if there isn't a ready-made tool, are there any developers out there who would quote building one for me? Thanks. Example of something simple from a shopify site https://www.leadinglady.com/pages/find-your-fit
  6. So I am currently doing a website for a client who wanted to use squarespace. The site is a meal prep store which sells daily meals for customers. Basically the functionality I need to achieve is this: The user clicks on food menu > they are taken to a page with 3 options for 1 meal a day, 2 meals a day or 3 meals a day > they are then taken to a page which says what would like for day 1? then shows them a few dozen meals. They select 1, 2 or 3 meals (depending on which option they picked in the previous step) and then click next and are given the same for the next 4 days one after another until finally the checkout button and the end of the funnel. I realise this might be difficult to achieve. So far I am using a normal page for the first step with them selecting 1, 2 or 3 meals a day. Its the next step that is confusing me. Do I link them to a product view page and create the meals as attributes somehow or do I link them to listing pages with the meals as products. If anyone has any ideas I could use some help on this one
  7. This may sound like a fairly straight-forward question, but upon spending hours searching for the answer and eventually coming up blank, I've decided to post it here. I am trying to add "Next" and "Previous" links beneath a slideshow gallery on one of my pages in the Wells template. It may be important to note that the page is not a "gallery" page but rather a regular page with a slideshow gallery inserted. It may sound like there is not much difference, but ultimately there is, as the "Gallery Design" options cannot be accessed in the "Design" section of SquareSpace. Thus the only option I am given for "Next" and "Previous" buttons are two translucent arrows on either side of the frame. (I am not super crazy about this) Here is what the page currently looks like: http://www.michaelhull.co/team302/ Here is what I want the page to look like: http://www.michaelhull.co/team302-2/ Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance!
  8. My CSS has the following but my captions are still not centering under photos. Any ideas? Thanks. .thumbnail-caption { font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12px; text-align: center; color: #000000; background: ; padding: 2px 0; }
  9. I have been researching but nothing has worked for me, maybe because I need things explained a bit more detailed seen as I am not familiar with the whole coding and so forth. I have added my font file to the style editor but when instructions said to add a certain code to the page file, the code showed up on my page. I copied it as it was written...Here is what I have tried: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/5363/how-can-i-use-custom-fonts-via-css
