  1. What would cause this gray block to be there? I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I've tried adjusting the padding and it didn't work. Thanks! Website: johnetterleebooks.com
  2. Hello, I cannot find the css to shrink my footer and remove this empty space. The text in the footer is positioned in the footer top block. Can anyone help me?
  3. Hey guys, I love how genius your forum is. I'm a self-taught programmer and I'm getting my ass kicked on highlighted text. It seems like its ubiquitous on the web to have this colorfut text blocks but the css is driving me nuts. I wanted to make my website look like this uber-cool one from tamsen webster: https://tamsenwebster.com/ (totally whispered that idea). It has super-perfect css which resizes perfectly. But all I got was this hacked version which you can see live in all its dorky glory at deliveringcures4cancer.org (btw nonprofit client is kickass, I'm the dork :) using two separate code blocks on the main page: <H2 style="background: #ff69b4; padding-left: 0.5em; box-shadow: 0 0 10px 10px #fff"> We fast-track</H2> <H2 style="background: #ff69b4; padding-left: 0.5em; box-shadow: 0 0 10px 10px #fff"> cures for cancer.</H2> And it resizes really weird because they are two different text blocks. If I put them together then I can't get a gap to show between the lines of text. Please whisper some ideas to me is there a way to do this with custom css code and H2 text that I'm missing??? Thanks, Drea
  4. I tried using Firebug, whenever I inspect elements it gives a YUI number, not a block ID. I’m trying to change the colour of specific blocks.
  5. I have found this page , which talks about adding more font styles by adding h4-h6 headers through CSS (I used the answer provided by Dan). However, the answer doesn't seem to include a solution for how to edit the font style. For example, Proxima Nova is my font, and I want my font style to be Proxima Nova Light. Does anyone know what I can add to the CSS to get this done?
  6. Site Title is coming up too big in the mobile version of my site. Any tips on how to adjust this would be greatly appreciated. alanalouisemay.com/blog Thanks!
