  1. Site URL: https://www.cuentamelobooks.com/all Hi, I have added custom fonts to my site and have been able to change most of them using CSS code I have found online, but there are two bits that I don't understand how to do. The Title font for the products in the products page (this -> https://www.cuentamelobooks.com/all) and the "you have nothing in your cart" message in the shopping cart page (this ->https://www.cuentamelobooks.com/cart) Thank you very much for your help
  2. hello - new to squarespace and haven't coded since like 2003 and this is very hard for me to put into words, so please bear with me. my goal is to add css code to create a hover state with images. very simple. when i create the 1st block everything works fine. i add the 2nd css block using the same code structure, update the two image urls for hover states and save. every time i add a new block all the previous blocks change to the newest one created even though they are all point to their own .png urls. this is the code i'm using: https://www.tutorialrepublic.com/codelab.php?topic=faq&file=changing-image-on-hover-with-css any help would be greatly appreciated!

  4. Site URL: https://stephenmontague.com Could someone kindly help me with the css to change the gallery style on a specific page: to have a gallery show as a slideshow banner on one page only, while having the other galleries show as grid in the Horizon template? Ideally I would like a slideshow banner under the ABOUT index page, but leave the galleries elsewhere as grids. Thank you!
  5. Hi there, I've been puzzling about and I think I have the wrong tags or something. I have this markdown in my page <div class="divTable"> <div class="divTableRow"> <div class="divTableCell"> [Mono Batch API][1] </div> </div> <div class="divTableRow"> <div class="divTableCell"> [Dual Channel Batch API][2] </div> </div> </div> [1]: /mono-batch-api [2]: /dual-channel-batch-api <style> .divTable{ display: table; width: 100%; background-color: #2b4286; } .divTableRow { display: table-row; } .divTableHeading { background-color: #EEE; display: table-header-group; } .divTableCell, .divTableHead { display: table-cell; padding: 20px; font-size: 25px; } .divTableHeading { background-color: #EEE; display: table-header-group; font-weight: bold; } .divTableFoot { background-color: #EEE; display: table-footer-group; font-weight: bold; } .divTableBody { display: table-row-group; } </style> What I'm trying to do is get change the displayed text (Mono Batch API and Dual Channel Batch API) to white. I've tried using <p> with the color: white also tried adding this to all the elements in the CSS but nothing changes it. I must be missing something. I've also added this to my CSS a { color: white } but still nothing. I'm not sure how this linking works in SS. Are those 2 items links or text? Help. Desmond
  6. Site URL: https://www.cuentamelobooks.com/ Hi smarter people than me, I'm having a frustrating time uploading images to my site. If you have a look, there are small illustrations scattered in the home page and other pages. These were done in Adobe Illustrator. If I save then as 2500 px wide pngs (Squarespace's recommendation), they are way to big and reducing their size using space blocks either makes them too small or still too big. I have used photoshop for reducing their size (what you see now on the site), but they look blurry. So I'm thinking maybe the way to go is code? I've seen other threads with code for reducing image size in mobile, but couldn't find anything for reducing the size in all formats. Thank you in advance for your help. Also if there's a better way of doing this that's not code, I will happily hear suggestions. Thanks!

  9. This is a very basic coding question.... I understand how to apply style to a block, using it's Block ID but how do I apply the style to TWO or more Blocks without repeating the code for each one? So instead of: div#block-yui_xxx{ padding-top:0; } div#block-yui_yyy{ padding-top:0; } I get something like div#block-yui_xxx AND div#block-yui_yyy{ padding-top:0; } Sorry - I found it.... div#block-yui_xxx, div#block-yui_yyy{ padding-top:0; }
