  1. Site URL: http://www.benpeers.com When I first used this custom CSS a few months ago, it worked like a dream: .sqs-cookie-banner-v2 p, { color: #666666 !important; font-family: "Chivo", sans-serif; font-size: 15px !important; font-style: normal; font-weight: 200; letter-spacing: .7px; line-height: 150%; } However, now the cookies banner font is ridiculously huge, and only when I actually go into the Custom CSS panel does it update to being the right size. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
  2. Has anyone found a free or low-cost GDPR-compliance solution that works with a small Squarespace site, that is actually compliant with GDPR legal requirements? After spending the afternoon reading, it doesn't appear that the [cookie banner] GDPR solution that Squarespace makes available to its own customers is compliant. Interestingly, it is also not the one they use for their own corporate website(s). A cookie banner alone does not meet GDPR requirements. There must be valid, documented, reversible and renewable consent. Consent must be obtained prior to processing, and be transpar

Is it possible to give a person the choice to decline cookies in the banner?   6. Hi all, I want to change the cookie banner colors. So far, I managed to change the background and the font color, but I don't know how to change the CTA button color. Any ideas? This is the CSS code I'm using: .sqs-cookie-banner-v2.LIGHT { background-color: #c2a366; .sqs-cookie-banner-v2-text p { color: #efe5dc; } }
  7. Site URL: https://www.ausliebezumhaustier.de Hi, i think a lot of people have the same challenge here with implementing GDPR or CCPA. Anybody with a good, working and cost-effective (or free) tool? I've tried Google https://fundingchoices.google.com/p/d2c40879b32a7b93/ (Free) Quantcast Choice https://www.quantcast.com/ (Free) Cookie First http://www.cookiefirst.com (Paid) Nothing is working for me (f.e. Outbrain is firing without consent on all three) Any suggestions? Any experience with Cookie Consent Cookie Control OneTrust
  8. Is it possible to give a person the choice to decline cookies in the banner? My client wants there to be a yes/no button for cookie usage. Has anyone figured out anything like this yet? My understanding is that if I "Disable Squarespace Analytics Cookies" then cookies will not be used unless the person "x's" the popup... is that the only solution for this?
  9. Site URL: https://www.discoverthespots.com/en Hello, i have a multilingual website and I would. like to know how to edit the cookie banner so that when on the /en pages the text shows in English while in the /de pages in German. Is it possible to hide .sqs-cookie-banner-v2-text and then put an :after in the code injection of certain pages? Or maybe to hide part of the next inserted?   10. I inserted this code into the "Custom CSS" section of the "Design" section. This code is dependent on you using the "Light" theme. If you use the "Dark" theme, change the code accordingly. .sqs-cookie-banner-v2.LIGHT { background-color: #ffd6f1; }

  12. Site URL: https://www.brandingofficehours.com Hey, y'all. Anyone know how to turn off the cookie banner on individual pages? I have a landing page where I've removed the header & footer areas, and social media ads that point right to that page. Most folks coming from the ad are coming via mobile, and the cookie banner is really distracting on mobile for a page that's so important to my sales. Maybe even if there was code for just disabling the banner on mobile, that would be even better. I don't mind it being there on desktop. But, would take code that would work either way (fully
  13. Site URL: https://www.skaarmusic.no/ I'm working on a Cookie Consent (GDPR) project for a client adding the OneTrust cookie banner to sites. I've managed to restrict most cookies but struggling with some from youtube. The simplest method is to use https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/ for any embeds and that does the trick on embedded videos, but background videos are a problem. The following cookies appear without the visitor's consent: NID, IDE, YSE, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE Looks like the cookies are coming from the iframe_api script which is used to create background videos: <
  14. Site URL: https://www.homeofficeshop.com/ Hello there, to comply with GDPR we need to use our own cookie Banner. The Code and banner is provided by our 3rd party data privacy provider. <script id='BBCookieConsentRur' type='text/javascript' data-bbcid='a2b25d5b-e335-4937-acde-da663463e670' src='https://2badvice-cdn.azureedge.net/psf/js/bb-manager.js'></script> Now the big question ... where to put the code ideally? I've tried it through settings>code injection for the header: Problem with the header injection is, that the navigation bar disappeares. T
  15. Site URL: https://www.sab.hr Hi all, Recently on my website I noticed that images do not load properly on my website. More specifically, sometimes they load and sometimes they do not. Attached is the screenshot of a page where images are supposed to load. Upon further investigation I discovered that when I remove CookieBot script from the header in code injection that everything works fine. Website worked flawlessly with this script before so I have no idea how to resolve this problem. If someone can give me advice that would be great. Any help is appreciated! Dino
  16. Hi guys, I managed to reduce the width of my cookie banner, however it seems that the X icon is now misplaced, and it is too big and thick. I have searched high and low on how to change the thickness, size and alignment of the X icon. Would really appreciate your help on providing a CSS code that can do just that. I have circled the area with a yellow marker. Thank you very much~! Regards, Jackson
  17. Site URL: https://www.wellfest.ie/ Hey all. A client has been complaining cookies banner appear every time on safari/iphone on a site. No matter if they accept it or not. Spent all day on this & after speaking to Squarespace support they've said it's a fault with Squarespace, that may or may not be fixed. This seems insane to me? If you have to accept cookies every time. But I can't de-activate as it will go against GPDR. It's a pretty embarrassing situation to be put in Just wondering has anyone else experienced this or found a solution. There could well be a hack to fi
