Hi, I'm not sure I'm in the right place to ask but I want to add a paid live chat to my website. I signed up with Premium Chat and received a code to embed but that was it. No talk of how they are paid nor how I would be paid so not a lot of trust there. Does anyone know of a place that offers a copy/paste code to do this? I have run into to plenty of "live chat" but I am interested in charging a fee. This is for a service business that offers help in articles and live help for a fee if more help is needed. (still creating site, it's not live) Much thanks!
Site URL: https://www.htmlcommentbox.com/index.html There's a free version. Anyone tried this? It's one of the third-party comments additions mentioned in https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206540767 and can be used on any page.
Hi, I am a graphic designer that works for a property management company. I have moved half of our websites from wordpress to squarespace. All of our websites use a property management leasing platform ! The one problem I am running into is the chat feature through the leasing platform. It has worked in the past on old wordpress sites-like the first screenshot attached! However, on squarespace when I plugin the snippet code to the footer as I have previously done on wordpress-it remains at the very bottom of the page and even looks different! ( see screenshot attached) Here is the code leasing platform provides: Is there anything I can edit to this code to make it work like screenshot one? I know it possible because companies like this exist: https://www.livechatinc.com/marketplace/apps/squarespace/ I have contacted both squarespace and leasing platform and both blame each other for the problem! There is no need to give the URL to the squarespace website because I have taken out the code!
