  4. Site URL: http://ftheops.com Hi I'm trying to reorder my categories on the Indigo Squarespace template. Can you assist? 1. Men's 2. Women's 3. Accessories 4. Music Thanks in advance for your assistance!
  5. Site URL: http://www.neuronhub.com I'm going back to my portfolio and trying to build it from scratch after a couple of years. Previously I was only showing work which I directed and produced, but now I want to also include work which I had some other smaller roles in (editor / DOP etc.) My previous portoflio (neuornhub.com) used the Avenue index and I was able to simply create a different index for each category of work (accessible with a dropdown menu). For my new portfolio I want to be able to categorise by type of work but then allow users to select my role in the work (i.e. director, editor, DOP etc.). So that someone will be able to select 'comedy' as the category, and then select 'editor' to only see the comedy work which I edited. Is there any template which will allow this or is this one layer of too much complexity. Thanks so much!
  6. Site URL: https://www.elgalgorestaurante.com/es/para-llevar Hello, I would like to make my website more user friendly but the product page is a big headache. To help my customers find the best meal I use the category option as a filter but when using it, it loads the age again and again. https://elgalgorestaurante.squarespace.com/es/para-llevar The filter works but every time you choose a type of meal, you have to scroll down. How can I change that? I suppose that I have to use anchors links but I don't know where to put then and make then work. Someone has an idea ? Thanks

  9. Hello. My website is a cross stitch supply store. In it I sell charts from many different designers. I have my product pages separate for each designer. Those designers have different themed pieces... such as Halloween or Christmas. What I am trying to do is create a page where all the similar themed designs come together no matter which designer. So lets say a Christmas page where all designs in the Christmas Category will show. I understand that for some un-user friendly reason Squarespace does not have "universal" categories throughout the site, so for each new product page I have to create a new Christmas Category. Because of this, short of duplicating each and every product that falls under Christmas, and therefore technically two separate products, I cannot figure out a way to bring them all together. I figure I must be missing something as this should be quite an easy thing to do. Just a page that displays a search result for the Christmas category. My website is www.crossstitchboutique.com. I currently do not use tags because I really do not understand the difference between the two and how one has a different use from the other. If I give it a Christmas tag is there a way to get a search result product page? I just cannot figure this out. Thank you. Jennifer

  12. Site URL: https://sunbug.info/shop Hi there- trying to figure out how to reorder these categories. Surely there's a way since that's a significant decision as far as how to present one's shop? Not seeing the option anywhere though. Thanks in advance!
  13. Site URL: https://www.littleboxes.shop/buy Hey Friends, Password to the site is: vendor2020 Wondering if there is a way to remove the pipes between the categories on the shop page? This used to be a feature available on 7.1 but looks like they removed the ability very recently. Once the pipes are removed, I'll also need to be able to adjust the padding between the tags. Much appreciated if anyone knows how to do this!
  14. I'm new to Squarespace and trying to determine if it's right for me. I've been playing around in the Beaumont template, but am not seeing where to add tags or categories. I've checked all the places that the "help" topics have listed. When I started looking at other templates, none of them had tag or category options either. Am I missing something? If anyone has used or is using the Beaumont template specifically and could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.
  15. Site URL: https://littleboxestrial.squarespace.com/shop Site pass: letmein I read here that Squarespace allows you to "[Choose] where category navigation displays. It's not possible to hide the category navigation." But when I go into my Design options on the page, I don't see options to be able to do that. Does anyone know how I can make my categories appear as a list on the left-hand side of the page? Is there a way to do it with SS options I'm not seeing?

Site URL: https://www.lancasterandcornish.co.uk/ Member 0 1 post Report post Posted February 11 (edited) Site URL: https://lancasterandcornish.co.uk/ Hi, I am having difficulty in showing my products under one SHOP heading, as well as the separate sub-categories. For example, I want my products to all show under the SHOP page in the main navigation, but also to be able to show the categories separately: SHOP RIBBONS SILK HAIR TIES etc What happens at the moment is once you click on for example RIBBONS, then you can see those and the categories, but I want the left hand navigation to show all of the product categories, not just those that are ribbons! Please can someone help? Sian
  18. Please excuse my "beginner-ness" with web dev. I have been trying to implement some of the category re-ordering examples from this forum and it is not working for me. The logic of the re-order is clear, what I don't understand is how the css knows which page to apply the re-order to. I'm sure there is something I'm missing. Example: /* Reorder categories */ @media screen and (min-width:641px) { ul.ProductList-filter-list { display: flex; flex-direction: column; } } /* First one changed to second */ ul.ProductList-filter-list>li:nth-child(1) { order: 2; } /* Second one changed to first */ ul.ProductList-filter-list>li:nth-child(2) { order: 1; }
