  1. Hello all, I am currently setting up my new site and I have run into a roadblock. I am a travel agent for Egypt Tours and my business model requires that I secure a non-refundable deposit of $400 per person, before the customers final purchase (the full or remaining purchase is charged at a later date). However, on the Squarespace format I have not found the option to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions, whether that be through Squarespace, PayPal, Stripe, or any other means. Thank you for the help.
  2. Site URL: https://mauve-sphere-dhk9.squarespace.com/ Hi This is a two part question https://www.thehappyplaceschool.com/ https://www.thehappyplaceschool.com/make-a-payment (shop page) 1) I want to change the cart button once you add something to cart (currently set to all black) to the site color of teal blue - there is not default for this. Screenshot attached of the black box. Is this possible with CSS? 2) I want to change the pricing on the product page closer to the options BELOW the description so that when you toggle on the options you can see the price change. Is this possible with CSS?

  4. Site URL: http://bluelinenutrition.co I'm trying to add a button underneath the "CHECKOUT" button on the cart page. Can someone help with steps to do this?
  5. Site URL: https://www.grindstonewines.com/cart I have a couple of my pages on my site linked to our POS system (for sales & inventory purposes) but lastly I need out checkout Cart page linked to our POS system. I have the new URL but Square Space does not offer to link the Cart Page like they do with other pages. Would custom coding help? Has anyone else come across this issue? Thanks in advance
  6. Site URL: https://www.curltruth.love/home Hi, I am closing down my shop permanently, but I need to keep my website up, how do I disable commerce and shop completely. I am finding it frustrating that all the answers seem to end up being, leave it on cuz its good for your SEO, this is of no concern, I just want the basket and search icon gone with no trace and I cant seem to find the option. Help is much appreciated!
  7. I was trying to add a "Go To Cart" button below the default "Add To Cart" button. I was able to inject another element with jquery like this: <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $("<a class='btn btn--border theme-btn--primary-inverse' href='/cart/'>Go to Cart</a>").insertAfter(".sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper"); }); </script> But of course it doesn't get all the button styling. So I tried to add div parents to match other buttons on the site that look like this: <div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button" data-block-type="53" id="block-yui_3_17_2_1_1590159860790_33264"> <div class="sqs-block-content" id="yui_3_17_2_1_1591844141919_110"> <div class="sqs-block-button-container--center" data-animation-role="button" data-alignment="center" data-button-size="medium" id="yui_3_17_2_1_1591844141919_109"> <a href="/cart" class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element" data-initialized="true">Go To Cart</a> </div> </div> </div> However, when I was nesting the "a" element, all the divs and the element within disappear. This was because I was not consistent using ' and " to define my strings. The following code works for me. <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $('<div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button"><div class="sqs-block-content"><div class="sqs-block-button-container--center" data-animation-role="button" data-alignment="center" data-button-size="large"><a class="sqs-block-button-element--large sqs-block-button-element" style="box-sizing: border-box !important; width: 100% !important" href="/cart/">Go to Cart</a></div></div></div>').insertAfter('.sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper'); }); </script> Would still be interested in the best place for documentation for 7.1 site wide css styles. I guess everyone just rips it from what gets served on their site? Thank you, -Dean Fix for order swapping in mobile If things are swapping around in your mobile view, you have to add the same order as the "Add to cart" button. There's probably a better way to query for this and insert it, but it doesn't seem to change much. <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $('<div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button" style="-webkit-box-ordinal-group:4; -moz-box-ordinal-group:4; -ms-flex-order:4; -webkit-order:4; order:4;"><div class="sqs-block-content"><div class="sqs-block-button-container--center" data-animation-role="button" data-alignment="center" data-button-size="medium" style="margin: 0 auto !important; width: 70% !important"><a class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element" style="box-sizing: border-box !important; width: 100% !important" href="/cart/">Go to Cart</a></div></div></div>').insertAfter('.sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper'); }); </script>
  8. Site URL: https://www.moretti.com/cart Hello! I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to add related products to the cart page. It's pretty empty if there's nothing there and I'd love to make it more user friendly. Any CSS suggestions? - Christian
  9. Is it possible to remove the header and footer from the Cart page? I've successfully done it on other pages using custom css and injection code, but for some reason the Cart page behaves differently.
  10. Site URL: https://heptagon-ocelot-y6ec.squarespace.com/ Hello, I hope you the forum doesn't mind if I ask three questions, they are related. Firstly, my client would like to add a total cost figure (in pounds and sterling) on the cart icon. Currently, it displays the number of products in the cart. Is there a way of changing this? Secondly, I've added the option for 'Customer Accounts' however, I would like to change the text from 'sign up' to 'log in'. There doesn't appear to be an option to change this. And finally, I'd like to add a 'back to shop' function on the cart checkout page. Thank you in advance. Jason
  11. Site URL: https://atlantacoffeeshops.com Hi, I am working in the Five template. By default, all pages that I create include a sidebar on the right. Two questions: 1) How can I create custom code/CSS to omit sidebars on all pages throughout my site? Or said another way, how can I ensure that "full width" is selected for all pages on my site? 2) Is there a way to remove the sidebar from the "cart" page specifically? I could not find an option to do that on Squarespace Help pages. There is a way to customize the "Checkout" page, but what about the cart page? See the default text that is showing up on the below page at the moment: https://www.atlantacoffeeshops.com/cart Thanks for your help!
  12. I am using the Ishimoto template: Although the product page displays an “ADD TO CART” button, I need to add an additional button directly below this one that says “CHECKOUT”, and I need it to be identical (if possible) to the add to cart button. I do realize that once a customer adds an item to the cart, the Squarespace template will then automatically display a “cart” button floating at the top of the page. However, I still need to add my own checkout button so that I can send customers to a page with more instructions before they go to the cart. ANY help appreciated, I think I’m on the right track because I already have the following code, but I know the positioning code here is not going to align it directly under the ADD TO CART button like I need it to (because I need for my CHECKOUT button to automatically align itself with the add to cart button no matter what the browser window size is, etc): <style> .checkoutbutton { background-color: #292929; text-indent: 0; display: inline-block; color: #fff; font-color: #fff; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; height: 50px; line-height: 50px; width: 250px; text-decoration: none; text-align: center; } .checkoutbutton:hover { background-color: #292929; font-color: #fff; } .checkoutbutton:active { position: relative; top: 1px; color: #fff; } </style> <p align="right"><a href="/pagelink" class="checkoutbutton">CHECKOUT >></a></p>
  13. Hello! Is it possible to change the font size of the following(shown in picture)? Thank you!
  14. Site URL: https://www.dirtkitchensnacks.com/ I'm looking to show the promotional pop-up only on my cart page. I'm not seeing the cart page as an option to select it. I've tried creating a link to redirect to the cart page but those are not showing up either? Anybody have any solutions? Show the Pop-up On:
  15. Site URL: https://www.drivenfilms.tv/ Hello, is it possible to switch the word "Cart" to an actual shopping cart icon? Polaris family.
  16. Site URL: https://www.maartenrots.nl/patron To offer customers the possibility to sign up for a subscription with creditcard as well as with PayPal (Squarespace doesn't support PayPal for recurring payments...) I've come up with the solution to use two separate buttons below a block of text. One button is a regular button, this one links to PayPal. The other one is a product block set to display the button only. My problem is that I can't figure out how to make the add-to-cart button span the container, like the regular button does after playing around with some CSS, just for this particular page (#patron-plans). On desktop everything looks fine, I have manually made the size of the add-to-card button to more or less the same width as the block above it. But when you switch to tablet or mobile view the button size changes, where the regular button nicely follows the width of the block above. I would really appreciate your input and/or solutions to make this work, thanks a lot in advance. Here's the CSS I have used (applied to #paypal-plans only): /* Patron Creditcard Button Styling */ .sqs-add-to-cart-button{ font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 2em; border-width: 0px; background-color: #77A2AC; color: #fff; } .sqs-add-to-cart-button:hover{ font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 2em; border-width: 0px; background-color: #D8E8E9; color:#545454; } .sqs-add-to-cart-button-inner { padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; } /* Patron Paypal Button Styling */ .form-block .lightbox-handle { font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 2em; border-width: 0px; width: 100%; color: #fff; background-color: #9FC7CD; } .form-block .lightbox-handle:hover { font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 2em; border-width: 0px; width: 100%; color: #fff; background-color: #D8E8E9; color:#545454; }
  17. Site URL: https://www.inkwellauthors.co.uk/cart Hi! I know absolutely nothing about code but I've managed to invert the colour of my logo for a number of pages across my website. The website logo is white, so on pages without a banner I need it to be black. As I said, I've managed this everywhere except the cart page. Any idea how I can invert the logo colour to black? Thanks in advance!
  18. I'm working within the Harris (York family) template for a client, and unfortunately can't convince them to switch to a more robust template. Right now, the shopping cart icon on mobile is only visible within the navigation menu. Does anyone know of custom code that could move it either to the left of the mobile navigation button or to the bottom of the page (similar to how it is on Brine templates). Any input is appreciated!
  19. Hello! I would like to remove certain navigation items in the shopping cart page. - Template: Brine (Hyde) - Hide: Primary navigation items 4 and higher (nth-child(n+4)) - Hide: Secondary navigation item 2 (last-child) - Hide: Footer navigation items 5 and higher (nth-child(n+5)) All other pages work perfectly fine with hiding navigation elements using css codes and targeting their collectionid- and itemnumbers. But I can't seem to find out how to target the shopping cart page. Appreciate any help! Thank you. Sincerely, Berthold
  20. Hi everyone, I've designed my site in 7.1 (taking over for 7.0 designed site) marcwilson.co.uk When someone adds a product to their cart it is really not at all visually obvious what to do next, i.e. to click on cart to go to it and then checkout. The cart shows merely as a simple graphic in the header. In 7.0 sites you could design so a very obvious pop up cart button appeared when you added a product. It would appear right on page in front of viewer and was very obvious that you were meant to click it. See attached screenshot. I've asked SP and there is no way to do this at the moment in 7.1 design. Does anyone know any code to do something similar maybe? Thank you so much.
  21. Site URL: https://courtneyandersonart.squarespace.com/cart password for site is: courtneyandersonart I have a font showing in my cart that is only really legible in lowercase but is shown in uppercase. There is no option to change it under design and styling. What CSS do I need to change it??
  22. So I'm using the Foster template for www.supermoonbeautyco.com, and the shopping cart is in the upper right corner on desktop view. It is also in the upper right on horizontal mobile view. However, when a mobile device is vertical (how most of my customers are shopping) the cart disappears completely in favor of the default condensed navigation menu. There is no where to access the shopping cart anywhere in mobile view, when vertical. Can anyone walk me through how to override this? I've searched every setting possible in my pages, styles, etc. And there's just nothing. This is wild to me that this is how the template itself is set up.
  23. Hi, I need to change the font for 'Shopping Cart' text on my cart page. Where can I add this so that it only changes the Heading for this page only (CART) ? Google inspect and this is what is currently set for the Heading (H2) font-family: Playfair Display SC - I need it changed to Lago. Also where exactly do you enter CSS for the cart area? Thanks, Lee
  24. I am debating which will be the best cart for my small business. Can you incorporate a Shopify cart in a Squarespace site?
