  1. Site URL: https://saffron-ellipsoid-ef4m.squarespace.com/ Hi there, A client has constant contact and we had to set up a zap to capture email signups on the SS newsletter form that's on many pages and on the blog signup page. Is there a way to circumvent this? We haven't seen this on any other sites we've built and wonder if it's new? When we try to disable it, we get Disable reCAPTCHA? At least one verification type is required for Squarespace Email Campaigns. To disable Google reCAPTCHA, Confirmation Email will be enabled. But we aren't using SS email campaigns -any ideas? Thanks!
  2. Site URL: https://dylansoffice.com/mailing-list I would like to edit the newsletter button size and padding to be flush with the form field. Was also wondering if I could change the look of the recaptcha box to just a simple box with custom text...? Attached is a current image of site and the desired look.

  4. Site URL: https://www.loesencial.mx Hello fellow Circlers, this is my first time posting here, so hi! 👋🏼 I manage an e-commerce website (loesencial.mx), and lately (last 6 months or so) we've been having serious trouble with fraudulent payments and card testing from people trying stolen credit card info. We've been trying lots of stuff with Stripe tools to prevent this, but we're still having trouble and losses with disputed payments. One of the tips the Stripe Support Team provided us is to add friction on the checkout process to avoid automated payment attempts, (we're currently having IP addresses attempting over 100 cards in less than half an hour), and our best option for that is to add a captcha before, or during checkout. I'm aware that Squarespace by design has an enclosed checkout environment, so I wanted to ask if anyone here has had similar issues, and if you were able to solve it, or if anyone has successfully added a Captcha on the shopping cart page. I don't have much experience in coding but I understand some of the basic stuff, so I'd appreciate any help on this topic. Thanks in advance from the whole team at our little leather goods brand 🙂
  5. Site URL: https://www.putonlovestory.com/ Hello, could you kindly help me simply "center" the recaptcha along with the form? Thank you so much,
  6. I know it is possible to add reCaptcha to newsletter or other forms, but is it possible to add this same block in the checkout? We offer products which are very limited, and often times real customers who attempted to check out manually are not fast enough compared to those who use bots to quickly fill all of the fields. It would make our releases more fair if users without bots also stood a chance at purchasing our items.
  7. Site URL: http://badger.co.nz/contact The captcha box is showing error for site owner. Anyone encountering similar problem? Cheers.
  8. Hi All! This is a tricky CSS situation. I have been trying to align my ReCaptcha using CSS to override Squarespace CSS. I used the following: It originally worked for months.... now all of a sudden it has stopped working... Whenever I try to override Squarespace's code (as seen in the attached image) it will no longer let me. It has been doing this with a few things recently and I can't figure out why? Please advise and is anyone else having a similar issue?
  9. Site URL: https://max20ps.com I need my submit button to live on the same line and align with my ReCaptcha so they all align with the video. I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone know what code I need to inject and where to make this work? Thank you! Jack
  10. Hi, We are getting a ton of spam through our Contact Us form (link) - to the tune of 30 emails at a time. We added a ReCaptcha, but that doesn't seem to be helping at all. Is there a way to block an email domain, or something else we can do? I am brand new at this, so go easy on me! Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - I couldn't find anything when I searched. Thanks, Katie
  11. Site URL: http://www.infinix.com Hello: We are seeing a lot of spam/fake emails coming in from our forms on our web site. If I add CAPTCHA will that reduce the amount of spam? Any other suggestions to weed out the fake emails? Stephanie
  12. Site URL: https://www.errolcratt.com/book Hello! I've got a google form embedded on one of the pages of my website. I use google forms rather than the squarespace forms because information submitted automatically populates on a spreadsheet and makes managing my appointments/related data easier. When the form is completed and the user selects "submit" a reCaptcha validation window pops up. On the mobile version of my site, the pop up appears at the top of the form, rather than the bottom where the submit button is. In order to actually submit the form, a user must click "submit", and then intuit that they need to scroll all the way up to the top of the form, and then complete the captcha validation. This is pretty clunky in terms of user accessibility, and has led to a fair bit of confusion. Is it possible to change where the captcha pop up appears? It would make the most sense for the pop up to become visible at the bottom of the form in the same area of the submit button on the mobile version of the page that I've linked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm out of my depth on this one! :-)
  13. Hello, I'm looking for a way to have the reCaptcha popup come after a user has clicked the contact form SEND button. Currently the Captcha is displayed alongside the SEND button and. I'm curious to see if this would reduce user friction as well as reduce the amount of spam coming in. Thanks!
  14. I feel like I must be missing something obvious, but I can't find a page about this on the help site. I've signed up for a reCAPTCHA v2, and have added the keys to my site, but I can't find any option to enable the reCAPTCHA on the comments box on my blog posts. The only instructions I can find are for adding it to a newsletter or form block, and I don't see equivalent options anywhere on the Blog page, including Blog settings and Comment settings. Can anyone give some advice? I'd like to have comments on my blog posts without inviting spam bots. Thank you!
