  1. I see you have an old post in the help console reference this question. We want the homepage navigation to look like this site https://www.thecuratedexperience.ca/ with the white background. All the other pages seem to be fine.
  2. I am trying to make an animated underline on hover. would be nice if the underline remained for the active page. I found this but the underline is miles away from the navigation and does not stay on for the active page..... Anybody have any suggestions? Much appreciated.. .Header-nav-item { position:relative; height: 60px; line-height: 60px; text-align: center; transition: 0.5s; padding: 0 20px; cursor: pointer; -webkit-transition:0.5s;} .Header-nav-item:hover { background-color: transparent; border-color: transparent; color: #000000;} .Header-nav-item:hover:before{ transition-delay: .2s; } .Header-nav-item:before{ width: 0%; height:100%; z-index: 3; content:''; position: absolute; bottom:-1px; left:0; box-sizing: border-box; transition: .2s;} .Header-nav-item:hover:before { width: 100% !important; transition: .7s; } .Header-nav-item:before { border-bottom: 2px solid #000000;}
  3. Hello! Has anyone successfully transformed the banner on the 1st page of a brine template to another image? I would like the initial image to slowly fade into another image after page loading?
  4. Site URL: https://tangerine-pear-2fep.squarespace.com/config/ There is one section in the nav (schedule and classes) that doesn't accept the css that I put in, but all of the other nav items do. I'm at a total loss. There's an underline when you click on it, but I did css so that doesn't happen and it works on other nav items, but not on that one. Same for color changes. the published site is akashayogajh.com
  5. Site URL: https://cat-harpsichord-8zm4.squarespace.com/nikisue-yoga I would like to change the font just on the banner image to granville. the password for the site is nikiyoga. is there a way to do that?
  6. Is there a way to remove padding inside of a code block? I've inserted an image using a Code block and want the block to fit snug around the image itself, but I'm getting an extra padding on all sides. Here is a link to the site for reference Password: weddings This is the code I currently tried to use: .sqs-block-code .sqs-block-content { padding-top: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; } Any help would be much appreciated!
  7. We have a bridal boutique website project where the client doesn't want to sell online, but have a wish list feature that collects dresses together which are emailed to herself and her client. We are not fixed on a template yet so we can build out on any template. The idea being that the dresses can be tried on at an appointment. Does anyone know of a plugin we could buy that would allow us to create a wish list which collects products and emails them? Alternatively, we had initially thought about using the shop and disabling the pricing and adapting the button text to "add to favourites/wish list" rather than add to basket on each product page. We have been able to target the code on the item specifically to hide the price. In order to get this to work we would need code on the "shopping cart" page change the text "shopping cart" on the shopping cart summary page to "Wish list" target the price to hide target the "checkout" button to change the text "see wish list". We would also need to style the "checkout" page headers (squarespace seems to suggest this is not possible?) change "2. Payment" to "2. Contact details" change "3. Review and Purchase" to "3. Review" change "order summary" to "Favourites Summary" change "purchase" button to "Send Favourites" button if possible to hide the prices in "order summary" Any suggestions gratefully received
  8. I am working on a client website below: http://url.com/www.elizabethmckenzieflorals.com password: flowers Page needing to address: Meet Saige I am wanting to overlap a text block with a colored background over a full-width image block as shown below in the screenshot. Not sure if it's easier to add them as separate blocks (image and text), or to create a Collage Image block and customize that using CSS. Help is very much appreciated!
  9. Site URL: https://fife-deer-hznw.squarespace.com/ I'm using brine. I've tried a few methods in css to increase the marketing announcement bar's font size. Nothing's working. It's set at 13 and it's too small (I want all the sites fonts to be no smaller than 14px) .sqs-announcement-bar-text {font-size: 1.3rem !important; } seems to increase the font *line-height* but not the actual font *size* I've also tried: @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) .sqs-announcement-bar-text, p { font-size: 14px; !important;} This isn't working either. The "p" is being identified as a syntax error. What am I doing wrong? What gives?
  10. am at a loss! the Facebook messenger chat doesn't have a block ID! Does any one know a CSS code to push it up i.e. increase padding on all website versions (desktop, iPad & mobile) so it doesn't overlay on the cookie bar (refer bottom right within attached image).. My site is lifedeeperstill.squarespace.com Help is highly appreciated!
  11. Hi, all - wondering if it's possible to display tags for a blog post in addition to/separately from other metadata (e.g. category, date), and elsewhere on the page. Context: I'm using the Brine template. Under "Site Styles," you can set "primary" and "secondary" metadata to display on any given post — and you can only display two metadata types. By default, those two pieces of metadata display under the blog post title, as below (here, I'm displaying Categories and Date). Question: What I'm wondering is — is it possible to, in addition to the "Primary" and "Secondary" metadata you can set in Site Styles, display a third metadata type (e.g. tags), elsewhere on the page (e.g. at the bottom of the post)? I'd love to be able to have a display at the bottom of a post, near the previous/next links and social share buttons, that lists the post tags (e.g. Tagged under: Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3). Is it possible?
  12. Site URL: https://conormccreedyshop.squarespace.com/?password=showmethewebsite Template: Clay 7.0 I am trying to hide the Intro of a Store page when I select a category. I have isolated when a category is selected in CSS with the following: a.ProductList-filter-list-item-link[aria-current="page"] {} but now how do I tell section.Intro to be hidden when this happens? Can this be done with CSS? It looks like SQS reloads the page when a category is selected..? TIA
  13. Site URL: https://www.thepinkchampa.com/home Is there a way to move the Customer Account Link to the Hamburger Menu ? Currently the Mobile Break Point is set to 3600px so that I can have the Hamburger Menu visible on all platforms. But the Customer Account Link is showing on the header but outside the Hamburger menu. I would like it to show inside that menu.
  14. Site URL: http://www.beckerwhitedesign.com Hi there! I've edited my website so that the mobile menu is visible on both desktop and mobile devices, but I'm trying to push the menu down so that you can see the white mobile bar at all times. I've managed to do so for everything EXCEPT when the menu is closing, in which case it snaps to the top. I'm also unsure as to why the "fade effect" isn't working when I open the menu. If anyone has suggestions for either of these issues, I'd greatly appreciate it! www.beckerwhitedesign.com .is-mobile-overlay-active .Mobile-overlay { @media screen and (min-width: 769px) { top: 65.5px; width: 30%; left: 70%; } @media screen and (max-width: 768px) { top: 65.5px; width: 40%; left: 60%; } @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { top: 80px; width: 80%; left: 20%; } } body { overflow-x: hidden; } body.is-mobile-overlay-active:after { content: ''; width: 100% height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; background: rgba(0,0,0,.5); z-index: 500; }
  15. Site URL: https://eveslaughterart.com/ Hi, I hope someone can help me. My website displays my artwork. On my homepage, I use a gallery block to showcase each piece. Each image opens into a lightbox. On desktop, all you have to do is hover and you can see the description. Which is fine. However, when viewed on a mobile device, in order to see the lightbox description, the viewer has to click on a small unlabeled DOT in the lower right to view the image description. You barely see the dot, and it isn't clear that a viewer needs to click on it. Is there a way to have the image description BELOW the image without the hover/overlap? Or, instead of a "DOT", could this be replaced with "More Info"? I've already reached out to Squarespace Helpdesk, and there isn't a solution. I feel like this is an easy fix with the proper CSS. Is there anyone that may have a solution? Thank you so much!!!
  16. Site URL: https://www.evokeengage.com/blog/what-to-post-on-social-media-during-covid-19 I'd like to constrain the width of my blog posts to the same width as the images at the top of each post. Here's an example: https://www.evokeengage.com/blog/what-to-post-on-social-media-during-covid-19 Ideally, the copy would be constrained at the sides - the same width as the image. What CSS do I need for this? I've tried every option that was posted to this forum in the recent past that seems related, but none seem to work in my case. Thank you!!
  17. I'd like to create a bouncing down arrow like the one on this website: https://www.cookmellow.com/ It would be within the index pages of Brine / Marta template -- so that people know to scroll down (particularly on homepage)... Thanks a lot
  18. Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows how I change my bottom border colour on just one page (the line I have under my navigation header). On my homepage it's white, but on all other pages I want it to be black (as I have no banner image so you can't see it if it's white!) Using the Brine template if that helps! Thanks, Emma
  19. Site URL: https://www.aneesofficial.com Hi there (hoping to hear from @tuanphan) I wanted to ask y'all a question that I can't seem to find a resolution to: how can i use custom font in my newsletter block. The text in the name fields won't change no matter what code I try, nor will the text just above the name fields. I use the Juke style within the Brine family. Thanks so much!! Anees
  20. It's been recommended that I used a Brine template, but I don't know how to find and view my options. How can I do this? Thanks
  21. Hi there, I've used the code below to set up a transparent mobile header for my site which uses the Brine template. The mobile nav header now sits nicely over each index page banner image: @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { .Mobile-bar--top { background: hsla(0,0,0,0) !important; position: relative; z-index: 1 !important; } .Index-page--has-image:first-of-type { margin-top: -100px !important; position: relative; z-index: 0 !important; } .sqs-block-content:first-of-type { margin-top: 50px !important; position: relative; z-index: 0 !important; } } However, this code only works for index pages and I've come to a problem when my pages sit under a folder. The mobile banner for these pages is located below the nav header so that the mobile header is now white and illegible because the logo and nav icons are white too (please see image). Is there any way to fix this, other than adding a background colour to the mobile bar of these particular pages? I'd really like to have the banner image sit behind the mobile nav menu, as it does with the index pages. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks very much 🙂
  22. Site URL: https://www.atelierhotelmotel.com Hi Guys ~ I have a shop with several collections, and need to change the way my template deals with top level shop pagination. I'm using the Brine template, and want my shop pagination to show the collections, not just: Shop/this product, as you can see in the screenshot. Ideally, I would like it to be displayed : Shop/collection/product Any help is super appreciated. Thank you guys ~
