  1. Hi everyone, Quick query please. The products on the site are basically membership for a year, so when the fulfilment email goes to the member I'd like to say their membership will need renewing one year from the date they joined. I know this pulls in the original date - {order.submittedOn|date %e %B, %Y, %I:%M%p %Z} = 29 June, 2020, 02:33PM BST But, I'm not sure how to add a year onto it to get 29 June, 2021, 02:33PM BST Any help much appreciated.
  2. Site URL: http://www.frotteedimare.ch Hey there I use Brine template and Squarespace ver 7.0. I successfully customized my footer to display the blocks in columns. Upper block is set to display: none. The css code right now looks as followed: /*footer colum design*/ @media screen and (min-width: 640px) { .Footer-inner { display: flex; } .Footer-blocks--top, .Footer-middle, .Footer-blocks--bottom { flex: 1; } .Footer-blocks--top {display:none;} .Footer-middle, .Footer-blocks--bottom { flex: 1; display: flex; flex-direction: column; justify-content: left; } #footerBlocksBottom { padding: 0px } } For now this setting looks great on mobile: But when i add more pages to the footer naviagtion ("Information"), the 3rd nav title ("© 2020, FdM") will automatically jump to the right side: Now my question would be how i should change/extend the code to force the 3rd nav title on mobile to stick to the left side? Appreciate any help! Best, J
  3. Hello ! I'm wondering if there is any way to modify the index navigation tool in Brine template, so it can display sections titles at all time. I'm talking about this kind of side bar, displayed as dots, radio, or bars... The sections titles are only visible while you hover the dots. The idea would be to keep them visible, so it would look like a index side menu. Thank you !
  4. Hi there! I'm curious as to how this was achieved on the Squarespace homepage? Is there a way to get zero padding around a Card Image Block, for example? Thanks in advance!
  5. Is there a way to make the "bottom header" transparent when using a gallery as the first index? I know you can do this when you have a background image on the first index page, but I'd like to achieve the same effect with a gallery as the first index page.
  6. Site URL: https://www.bottlerocketrecording.co.uk/ Hi @tuanphan, @RyanDejaegher, @paul2009, @bangank36, @christyprice I've recently redesigned my site – transferring from Pacific to Brine. I'm pretty much there now apart from some frustrating glitches on mobile view, as explained below. On mobile: The header at the top keeps mysteriously adding 8px + worth of padding to the top and bottom which is contributing to – if not wholly – causing it to obscure my section headings when using index scrolling from the hamburger menu. I've isolated the .mobile bar section and removed 8px with CSS but if you compare it to the desktop view there is clearly still more white space added around my branding box. Cosmetically – I'd obviously rather it were thinner but it's not that big a deal, but I do need it not to obscure my headings during scrolling, so it has to be fixed one way or another. On Mobile, BLOG PAGE: There is another mystery white space between the "Notes from the Studio" intro Banner and the nav/branding bar at the top. I've tried reducing padding to that area using CSS and site styles. In most cases just causes the "notes from the Studio" banner to be chopped into. I've also tried that banner image in a number of different shapes and sizes and always get the same issue. Furthermore there have been many occasions where I seem to have fixed it – I go to my mobile device immediately after editing and it displays perfectly as as it should. Then then on reloading the page – the white space jumps back – almost saying "WAIT, I'M STILL HERE!, pushing the banner down again. This has been incredibly frustrating, especially when resizing and adjusting the padding to the "notes from ..." image block. In the section editor, Squarespace will show that I've solved the problem – everything looks fine – and then I open it on my actual phone and the white space is either still there or I've chopped the top or bottom off my banner. My only conclusion is there must be some rogue code somewhere that's over-riding everything or even a ghost block that can't be deleted that is pushing things to flow around it. Hoping someone can shed some light! Thanks!
  7. Site URL: http://www.pantryphilosophy.com The header 1 font is set to all capslock in other pages and wish to remain that way. I only need to change the homepage header in the banner image.
  8. Site URL: http://www.kirstylittle.com/sculpture-index Hi, my template is brine and I have a gallery section on my index page. The photos in the gallery all have captions, which I have inserted, but I want them to appear on hover. When I look online for the solution, I'm basically told it can happen (this feature is said to be possible with brine), but the settings of the online instructions don't align with what I am seeing, thus making me unable to solve the problem. I've attached photos of all relevant settings that can be changed in relation to this in 'Site Styles' so whoever can help can see what I am seeing. Please help, this problem has been bugging me for quite some time. Thanks
  9. Hello, I am in process of building my site and was curious if there is a CSS to change the color of the Bottom Header so that the Secondary Navigation does not overlap the first page/banner. I was given suggestions to move the location of the logo or secondary navigation so they are all on top in the white space but I would rather have the Secondary Navigation centered in the header and below the primary as is. Also, is there code to insert a line in the Header? I had hoped to have a line above the Secondary Navigation so it stands out a bit more as well. Thank you!
  10. Site URL: http://www.susannasarts.com Hi, using a Brine family template (Jaunt) and need to remove the footer top blocks from specific pages. I've been trying variations on this and it isnt working: <style>.Footer-top-blocks{display:none !important; }</style> I tried using chrome dev tools to figure out what that specific element is called but it appears to simply be part of the body when looking at dev tools so Im not sure how to call it out. halp!
  11. I have these "hop scotch" sections in my site. On mobile this section looks like garbage because it goes content, image, image, content. Is there anything I can do to make it go image content image content? @lu.diehl @tuanphan https://lettuce-grapefruit-bdsr.squarespace.com/ PSWD socialive
  12. Site URL: https://indigo-hexahedron-khcs.squarespace.com/shop I have food photography that has all been cropped consistently with the baking trays located in exactly the same position with the same whitespace to the left, right, top & bottom, however when the images are displayed on the shop grid sometimes they're cropped close, sometimes far. I've re-saved the files multiple times, ensuring all the source files are the exact same 1500sq original source. I can't see any rhyme or reason why they're being displayed so differently. It's so frustrating! On the screenshots you can see they display as they should in the thumbnails, and I've screenshot a photoshop file so you can see how I've ensured the tray placement is consistently the same across these five items. On another note, on the home page, the collaged images have a fade or opacity over the original images that I'd like to lose. Any ideas? And on a final note, the mobile version of the collaged images isn't great, is there anyway to change so the text block falls underneath the image rather than still trying to float on top? Site: https://indigo-hexahedron-khcs.squarespace.com/shop Password: boscotogo Thanks in advance for any help, Kyle
  13. I'm building on Brine, and I'm using fixed headers.I have no issue with how to make those work, nor with using either .site {padding-top: 90px;} or .index {padding-top: 90px;} , depending on what's needed. My issue is that when I have navigation (on index pages) that relies on anchors, like site.com/#about , my header covers my headline. I could insert a spacer, but then the site looks oddly spaced and lame. I can write links with an <a class="anchor" href:... and then use the stylesheets to create .anchor {padding-top: 90px;} The problem with this solution is that I want for my clients be able to make changes via the standard SS UI, after I hand it off to them. How do I make this work within the existing structure of Squarespace?
  14. Site URL: https://www.bottlerocketrecording.co.uk/ Hi @tuanphan, I've recently redesigned my site – transferring from Pacific to Brine (in favor of more editing options). It's not been the smoothest of transitions and I've had to dip into CSS to facilitate what I'd thought were some pretty basic requirements. Anyway I'm pretty much there now apart from some frustrating glitches on mobile view, as explained below. 15. Site URL: https://eveslaughterart.com/ Hi, I hope someone can help me. My website displays my artwork. On my homepage, I use a gallery block to showcase each piece. Each image opens into a lightbox. On desktop, all you have to do is hover and you can see the description. Which is fine. However, when viewed on a mobile device, in order to see the lightbox description, the viewer has to click on a small unlabeled DOT in the lower right to view the image description. You barely see the dot, and it isn't clear that a viewer needs to click on it. Is there a way to have the image description BELOW the image without the hover/overlap? Or, instead of a "DOT", could this be replaced with "More Info"? I've already reached out to Squarespace Helpdesk, and there isn't a solution. I feel like this is an easy fix with the proper CSS. Is there anyone that may have a solution? Thank you so much!!!
  16. I am trying to make an animated underline on hover. would be nice if the underline remained for the active page. I found this but the underline is miles away from the navigation and does not stay on for the active page..... Anybody have any suggestions? Much appreciated.. .Header-nav-item { position:relative; height: 60px; line-height: 60px; text-align: center; transition: 0.5s; padding: 0 20px; cursor: pointer; -webkit-transition:0.5s;} .Header-nav-item:hover { background-color: transparent; border-color: transparent; color: #000000;} .Header-nav-item:hover:before{ transition-delay: .2s; } .Header-nav-item:before{ width: 0%; height:100%; z-index: 3; content:''; position: absolute; bottom:-1px; left:0; box-sizing: border-box; transition: .2s;} .Header-nav-item:hover:before { width: 100% !important; transition: .7s; } .Header-nav-item:before { border-bottom: 2px solid #000000;}
  17. Hi everyone, I have a few products on a page on the website, all set to have the 'quick view' option, so the lightbox appears. I've changed all the 'add to cart' buttons to 'join', as it's a membership they are purchasing. However, one of them they need to contact us for and I don't want the option for them to purchase online. So I've managed to add some CSS to remove the button when on that product's page, but I can't find a way of removing the button from the lightbox. The link to the product page is here: https://oarfish-salmon-gpgd.squarespace.com/how-to-join The link to the product I've removed the button from is here: https://oarfish-salmon-gpgd.squarespace.com/membership-options/fellow I'd be grateful for any advice on how to remove the button from the lightbox on the above product please. 18. I'm using the Brine template and my homepage is an index page with the first part of the body being a gallery page in slideshow format. I'd like the slideshow to be in a random order every time somebody visits the page. I have gallery blocks on other pages that I don't want to end up randomized. I found this plugin offered by SQSP Themes that says it can randomize the image order in gallery and summary blocks but I don't think it's applicable for me since I would like it applied to a gallery page and not a gallery block. I've reached out to them for confirmation on that. Anybody have any ideas on how I can achieve this?
  19. Site URL: https://cotton-mills.co.uk I am trying to add an extra font style to my site (using Brine template 7.0) I have already used the body text and h1, h2, h3 tags around the site but want an extra style to use on the text that overlays the image on the welcome section on the home page. I tried some custom css to create an h4 tag but I think I probably need to use a block id or something to identify which text I want it to apply to. Here's my site https://cotton-mills.co.uk Any help much appreciated!
  20. Hey guys, I'm trying to move the "Sign up" newsletter button more to the left, as well as the "Email address" box that's next to it. I've attached a screenshot for preview. The goal is to align both buttons/boxes with the text that's above it. I'd also like to move these buttons up closer to the text as well. Thank you -Jeff
  21. I am working on a client website below: http://url.com/www.elizabethmckenzieflorals.com password: flowers Page needing to address: Meet Saige I am wanting to overlap a text block with a colored background over a full-width image block as shown below in the screenshot. Not sure if it's easier to add them as separate blocks (image and text), or to create a Collage Image block and customize that using CSS. Help is very much appreciated!

  25. Hi Everyone! I am currently using a the Maple template from the Brine Family and am looking to change all of my picture captions to uppercase lettering. I was using the Five template previously, and there was an easy way to change it under Site Styles, but there isn't a way in my new template. I'm hoping to find a code I can use to make all of my picture captions uppercase. Thank you in advance!!
