  1. Site URL: https://m1115london.squarespace.com/config/pages/5e8affbbe8170a5ffa4d66ea I'm new to Squarespace and trying to build a site to help out a relative. My issue is that on a PDP there are two types of navigation available - a breadcrumb that doesn't include the category so only takes you back to the main shop page; or prev/next buttons that again don't recognise a category so only take you to the next product in the entire product list. How can i either get these links/buttons to replicate the behaviour of the navigation arrows on the quick view page and show the next item in the category or the breadcrumb to include the category please ?
  2. Hi everyone, I'm putting a site together for someone and I'm having an issue with the breadcrumb function. The image attached shows the product page for a coffee. This particular coffee is part of their 'signature blends' which is category I've created in the shop. However, 'signature blends' does not appear in the breadcrumb. The arrow illustrates where I'd like it to appear. Can't seem to find a function in 'design' that allows me to add this. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello I'm trying to see if i could add my products category titles to my shop breadcrumbs.... is there a way to do this ? right now it just says shop>product i would like it to be shop> category> product
  4. Site URL: https://mackerel-collie-9dwr.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css I'm having problems formatting my mobile site so it can look somewhat similar to the desktop version. Whenever I go on to the mobile site and click on an item, there is no option to go back to the previous page(no breadcrumbs or previous/next button). What am I doing wrong? Help please.
  5. Hi! Does anyone know how to alter the heading of the padding on the product s? I like the feature but it doesn't need to take up anywhere near that much space on the page. I'd like it to just be barely larger than the text. Many thanks in advance!
  6. Site URL: https://aam-web-sample.squarespace.com/ On my website I used blogs to show our different exhibitions. I would like to add breadcrumb navigation to the top left above the blog header. Is there a way to add text/links above the header? Thanks! https://aam-web-sample.squarespace.com/

  9. Site URL: https://fox-pepper-hn5f.squarespace.com/ The Question Hello, I am trying to add breadcrumbs to my site (not just for products but all pages). I have Developer Mode and tried to implement the solution proposed here but it did not work. I know how to create "if-else" statements using {.equals arg 1 arg2}, which will involved part of the solution - but I need to be able to store the value of the page visited before somewhere. This variable will need to be global and static - something at the session level. This kind of scope means the variable will have to be made outside of breadcrumbs.block (JSON-T I don't think has this capacity) so I was thinking maybe I could write a js script but I don't know how to how to manipulate the breadcrumbs.block from js or how to get the value of a variable in js from the breadcrumbs.block (probably not possible). If someone has a solution for breadcrumbs or can help me figure out how to get javascript and JSON-t file to talk to each other, that would be great! Pseudo Code Solution: variable last="" variable second-to-last="" //above stored somewhere else If we are at Home{ second-to-last = "" last = "" print nothing } Else If we are at top level navigation (navtitles like Custom Programs, About, Classes, Events) last = navtitle second-to-last = "" print last } Else If we are at second level navigation (Newbie Class, Open Enrollment class, etc){ if second-to-last is empty{ second-to-last = last } last = navtitle print second-to-last / last } Else if we are at third level navigation (healing rhthyms, or a form){ print second-to-last/last/navtitle } Melanie ~
  10. Hello, I'm very new to CSS and HTML coding. In fact I'm very new to building a website. Can anyone tell me how I might be able to add breadcrumbs to my sight? Or have any other suggestions for navigation. I'm trying to create and online store the DIY way (because I'm in the UK and don't benefit from SQSP e-commerce). thestitcherymachine.co Thanks in advance people!
  11. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/store/lostamerica Hi, Anyone know how I can make this breadcrumb text smaller on both DESK and MOBILE view? Pass: trythis
  12. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/store/lostamerica/the-wall-frame-arizona Hi, How do I change the size of ALL breadcrumb text on the site?...
  13. Site URL: https://supercubesnew.squarespace.com/doors-and-door-accessories Nancy Whittlesey Today at 15:04 I've set up a page of products for my client. Note: they won't be purchased online—it's only to provide information and pricing. My problem is when someone clicks to the detail page, the breadcrumb gives the option of going back to the main DIY Kit Pricing page or the category page, Doors and Door Accessories. If they go to the category page the breadcrumb navigation says ALL and Doors and Door Accessories, which are essentially the same thing. That's confusing and I would like them to be able to get back to the main DIY Kit Pricing page. In the images I'm showing: 1) product landing page, 2) product detail page, 3) category page Thanks for your help!
  14. Hello everyone. I am trying to add something to the start of all my blog posts. Specifically a code block with my breadcrumb in it. I am unsure how to do this in a smart way, as i am not the one writing my blog posts, so i just want the breadcrumb to be there no matter who makes the post. Seems weird to me that you're not able to put in something that'll appear on all blog posts.
