  1. Site URL: https://salmon-seal-7rlm.squarespace.com/config/pages The background image effects in Squarespace 7.1 just stopped working overnight. Every effect except for Liquid and Film Grain cause a heavy blur overlay over the background image. In the screenshots below: the second photo I have applied the Zoom effect. 2. Site URL: https://rafida.org Hey, On our BRINE website, we added 4 additional custom social icons to the social links. The colour of the social links is set to white I added the below code in order to change the colour of the social links to grey on certain pages (e.g. product item pages) After adding this code, the social icons did change to grey, but for some reasons 2 of the social icons are blurry. The 2 that are blurry are 2 of the custom social icons that were added manually. For some reason one of the other custom social icons did not turn blurry? Also, it's i
  3. Hey, y'all! I'm new to Squarespace and am working on a photography blog. I have SFW and NSFW images and I was wondering if there is a way to assign blogs with an "NSFW" tag to blur until being clicked. I know this is probably a long shot. I'd also be happy if there's a way to do it manually by inserting a code block into the individual blog post, but I couldn't work that out either. Thanks for any help you can provide!
  4. Site URL: https://wisteria-panda-z2eg.squarespace.com/ pw: rotorrotor Hello All, I established these caption backgrounds from my fullscreen slideshow: .gallery-caption { border-radius: 100px; background: rgba(0,0,0,0.73);} I would now like to blur this caption background. However, I can't seem to target it. A simple filter: blur will blur the entire text along with it. Can anyone help? Best, Gregor
  5. Site URL: https://www.patsimpsonart.com Looking to add a blur effect to run behind the hover effect on my home page gallery? So that when someone hovers over an image it will blur and hover fade at the same time. Is it possible to make the image grayscale as well so that all 3 effects happen together? hover/blur/grayscale/hover fade Site password: T3mppass!
  6. What’s up everyone, I was wondering if anyone in the community would know how to implement a “lazy load” or “Ajax load” so that images load when they’re appeared instead of right when the page loads. I think https://grovemade.com looks super cool, I think they’re using JavaScript to load a super small version of their images then adding a CSS blur so the perceived load time is a lot faster. Can this be done with a Squarespace template?
