  1. Hi all. I am wondering if I could apply a different colour theme to one individual blog post without changing the colour theme to all the blogs? Can this be done through a code block or custom CSS? Thank you.
  2. Site URL: https://wrasse-harp-hmtx.squarespace.com/home Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I'm having please. Is there a way to feature the latest 3 blog posts on my homepage, that carries over the styling of the actual blog page? I've tried using summary blocks, however the design looks completely different, so it ruins the aesthetic. Image 1 is what I want it to look like (That is the actual blog page) Image 2 is what it looks like when I feature them on the homepage through summary blocks. Note how the bottom section - title/description/date

  6. Hi everyone, I´m new to squarespace and currently creating our recipe website. I would like to display a blog post from one category in multiple categories. E.g. we have the recipe category "Sweet recipes" with Recipe A in there. I would like to display and add this Recipe A not only in the "Sweet recipes"-category, but also in the category "Recipe A-Z", but it should have the same URLs in both categories. So when clicking in the category "Recipe A-Z" on Recipe A, it should link me to the recipe post which was created in the category "Sweet recipes". Is a set-up like this possible?

  8. Site URL: https://www.makikohastings.com/journal Hi, I'm looking for the way to change how to show the date on blog post on 7.1 version. On Thumbnail page, there are automatically showing a full set of dates in US format, which is month/ date/ year. Then on the actual blog post, it only shows month/ date (e.g. Apr 5) 1) I would like to change the order into UK format (date / month / year) 2) I would like to use the same format within the actual blog post I have contacted helpline but they told me that this is fixed and not adjustable. Surely this is a basic requi
  9. Site URL: https://www.rockycoastacupuncture.com/journal/the-acupuncture-approach-to-diagnosing-fertility-issues I am working in 7.1 and looking to change the author link (that links to list of all posts by this author) at the bottom of each post in the author bio to link instead to the author's full bio in the About section. We currently have 2 authors and they would each have their own link. If this is not possible, I would like to remove this link completely. Additionally I want to enlarge the photo. Bonus points if I can enlarge and move the photo to the left of the bio text—while th
  10. Hello! I'm in SS 7.1 and am trying to change the "READ MORE" text under the blog excerpt. I've already tried entering the following into the footer: Y.all('.inline-read-more').setHTML('Listen Here'); and the following in Custom css: .BlogList-item-readmore:before { content: ‘Listen Here’; } But neither are working- they worked in 7.0 😕 Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 🙂
  11. I would like to know if there is a custom code way to make the button in my navigation bar to always link to the latest blog post? https://www.effinghamvillagewine.com The link above shows what I'm talking about. What I do now is just make the button for Wine of the Week into a link and manually change it every week. What I would like the button to do is to pick the latest blog post (we post the "Wine of the Week" via blog collection) and make the button link to the post automatically. We schedule our posts in advance and would like to change the button automatically as

  13. Site URL: https://tomato-hibiscus-5kcf.squarespace.com/stories/born-to-lead Hello! I would like to include a summary block on my blog posts that links to "Related Stories" I can't seem to find a way to remove the current blog post from the summary block. I've tried some codes that I've found here, changing categories around etc, but none have worked for me. There are hundreds of stories and blog posts to transfer over so it would be very helpful if it was site-wide. Why this isn't an option from Squarespace, I don't know...Can anyone help me out? @tuanphan https://tomato-hibiscus-5kcf
  14. Site URL: https://sethealthfinder.squarespace.com/providers/tag/Pediatric+Care Password for site: care Working on a site for a really good cause, to try to help people find local free health resources. I am trying to find some kind of code insertion that would allow an automatically generated breadcrumb trail to show on the tags listing / categories listing pages within the blog in 7.1. Right now if you click a certain tag it takes you to a list page of all posts with that tag — but there's nothing orienting the viewer that for instance they're looking at a list of pediatric c
  15. Site URL: http://bazilstander.com/ Does anyone have a quick css solution for me to add a thin black border around a blog post? See image attached. I would need this to be a standard setup to go around every blog post in a certain blog (there are a few blogs but just need a border for a certain blog and it's posts). It's for the Mercer theme in 7.0 Thank you!

  18. Site URL: https://fiddle-calliope-dcmk.squarespace.com Hey everyone - I'm working on my website that typically uses a white logo and white text over an image background. However, when I go to make a blog post, it switches to black text for the header over a white background, which makes the logo invisible. What I'm looking to do is either: Invert my logo (or use a different image for it) on blog posts ONLY, not the blog landing page Allow for blog posts ONLY, not the blog landing page, to use a header with a background image or solid colored background with white text.
  19. Is it possible to update the logo colour on an individual blog post using Squarespace 7.1? Or alternatively, can the header image be updated? I have a white logo across my site which works fine except for individual blog posts. Normal header Individual blog post header Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
  20. Site URL: https://shaunwalker-photography.co.uk Hi, my blog posts suddenly don't display correctly on mobile view. The top portion the posts, with the title, and first few images just don't display, you can't scroll up, and basically it's a mess. They're fine in normal web view. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this? Thanks
  21. Site URL: http://www.electricalaudio.com/recorders I made a page on our site that I wanted a few image gallery blocks on, so I created it as a Blog page. We're running 7.1, so this is one of only a few ways to have a gallery block on a page. I'd like to have this be on the main navigation, but since it is a blog, the blog page gets a slug and the post gets a slug that's inside the blog's (eg the blog slug is /recorders, and the blog post is /recorders/recorders). I figured out how to have a navigation item that links to the blog post, but ideally I'd have the blog in the nav, and have t

  23. Hello everyone! I would like to add custom font to my author name in my blog list and posts but I can't find the CSS ID of it. Thanks in advance.
  24. Im using a logo with white text on my site and on all the pages except a blog post page i can see it as i have an image behind it. https://trovy.io On blog posts the colour theme is white so its not visible. https://trovy.io/lists/top-10-binge-worthy-boxsets Is there any way to add some custom css to just change the colour of the nav to dark navy on the blog posts page? Thanks
  25. I can't for the life of me figure out how to hide the active post in a summary block for blogs. So for instance, I want to feature a summary block showing "Related Posts," so I set it to the category of the current post, but the current post that the user is reading will still show up in the summary block. Is there a way to prevent that? There's no reason a user would want to click a link to the post they're already on, obviously. This is on the Nueva template, though I haven't seen the feature in any template I've used.
