  1. Site URL: https://www.theextinctcompany.com I'm wondering if there's a way to make a button that automatically redirects people who click on it to their respective regional amazon store? I am not an amazon affiliate - so OneLink wouldn't work. Just hate that my book website has 12 buttons for buying the book - doesn't look good. Thank you.
  2. Hello, I have an amazon affiliate page with products that i would like to display two products per row on mobile and tablet. Could anyone provide me with the right custom css that could achieve this? Thank you!
  3. Hi there, my boyfriend and I are in the process of creating a niche website and would like to link products from Amazon within the articles we write. We have signed up for the Amazon Associates program and know how to collate the products we want to include. The tricky part is now importing the information into Squarespace so the user can read the article and purchase the relevant products direct from Amazon via a link. I have tried adding the source code from the link within Amazon which does work but the whole image (which includes and image, product title, price and shop now button) is far too small and I can't work out how to edit it. Any tips? I hope I have made sense! Thanks Shannon
  4. Site URL: https://www.helgaspetgrooming.com/our-tools Hey all, Any of you happen to have any ideas on how I can make these products all line up so they are all the same height? Site: https://www.helgaspetgrooming.com/our-tools Password: brady The Amazon Block does not allow you to resize the image nor the block height. I called customer service and they said the size is based on the Amazon image for the product and referred me here for additional help. Seems like the SquareSpace coders could implement a resizing image slider option or a handle at the base of the block to resize it up. It pains me that the only part of my site that looks ugly is this page. Any help to make this look cleaner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Kev
  5. I've set up a website where content is sold through Amazon Affiliate links. I have set up Amazon OneLink to enable me to sell in US, Canada and UK where the user will be sent to their local Amazon store upon clicking my links. I embedded the javascript below into my Squarespace footer (Settings; Advanced; Code Injection; Footer) as instructed on both the Amazon and Squarespace websites but everyone still only sees the US Amazon store. I've contacted Amazon and they've confirmed that everything looks set up fine from their end. Any idea what I should be doing on the Squarespace side to make this work? I'm signed up as a Business customer on an annual contract, based in US. www.winterplaybook.com <div id="amzn-assoc-ad-8435f65a-7439-47fb-bb97-5bf6a677d528"></div><script async src="//z-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/onejs?MarketPlace=US&adInstanceId=8435f65a-7439-47fb-bb97-5bf6a677d528"></script> Anyone else had the same issue?
  6. Site URL: https://www.areolephotography.com/home Hey, can someone tell a total newbie how to add my Amazon links to my blog, there is no direct integration outside the US? Any one got a step by step method?
  7. Site URL: https://superfinesocial.com/resources I have 4 rows of Amazon products. On row 1, there's a product missing (see attached screenshot). I have tried to change the product (thinking it was that) but no matter which product I put there, it just disappears. The products are all set up the same on each row - so what am I missing? Many thanks.
  8. Is this common? Is it down or is it on my end? Cannot find product link for block because of this error.
  9. Site URL: https://familyhistoryconferencenwa.org The Current Situation My Squarespace website uses client-side, custom JavaScript and JQuery injected into the Head section of a page as well as the Amazon Web Services Command Line Interface SDK. The custom JS, the JQuery and JS Libraries, and the SDK are loaded into the page Head each time the page is loaded. That Is Objectionable The SDK uses two predetermined, static, handshake credentials to connect to the AWS server. They are stored in a file, "credentials," in a hidden directory, .aws, created by the SDK when it first loads. At that point, however, they have no values. I've been setting them in client-side/browser-side source code. The Situation Exposes Supposedly Secret AWS Login Credentials To A Potential Hack I have been setting their values programmatically when the page loads by executing a CLI "updateConfig" command in the custom JS. The credential values are thus in a plain-text config file client-side. As such, they are not so secret. Any site visitor who loads the page in his browser could use the browser's developer tools to view the source code and, potentially, discover the supposedly secret credentials thus compromising the security of the AWS account. One Ought Not Put The Secret Credentials In Client-side JS AWS wants me not to put the credentials in client-side source code. I think the preferred method is to instantiate the SDK on the server-side and set the credentials one time only. Thereafter, the hidden .aws directory and the credentials file persist server-side at the root level of the website's Home Directory. The Problem So the problem is how to load the SDK in the server-side Home Directory where it will persist over the site's lifetime. The Question Two questions are 1) On a Squarespace website, can one load the SDK server-side at the root level on the site's Home Directory. Can it be done in Developer Mode? How? 2) Is my understanding incorrect? Is there a way to do everything client-side/browser-side and yet maintain the secrecy of the security codes?
  10. Is there a way to list items for sale on a Squarespace site but have the fulfilment go through Amazon? I would like to use FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) but for potential customers to see my offering on my site. Thanks for your help!
  11. Site URL: https://howtousepsychedelics.com I would like to use Amazon One Link on my store, but, I'm not sure how on the squarespace end. I've done everything on the Amazon end. Thank you.
  12. Site URL: https://www.ausliebezumhaustier.de/ Dear all, I am running a website on pets. A main factor of income is the integration of amazon affiliate links. When I started the blog, the integration of amazon blocks with products from amazon.DE was no problem. Now - as I have read on the internet - it's only possible to integrate products from amazon.COM. As unfortunate as this fact is - it doesn't work for me. It doesn't matter if I type in a URL (from amazon.COM), a product name or some other search term in the settings of the amazon block in Squarespace: I always get the information "Amazon Search Service is temporarily unavailable". This has been the case for many months (if not years ...) now. Is there any workaround I could use? Or does anybody have any idea how I can fix that? My solution (adding an embed block with the amazon html code for a certain product image and altering the code by manually adding the price) is not satisfying and very laborious. The integration via embed code of the amazon html code with an image and price just doesn't look good (the picture is too small, the product information is cut off ...). Does anybody have a solution for this? Or does anybody know when this issue will finally be fixed? Thanks a lot for your time! Kind regards Nadine
  13. Site URL: https://waef-website.squarespace.com/ How can you add an Amazon Smile icon in the top navigation menu bar, as well as in the footer menu?
  14. Hi - I'm quite new to SquareSpace but so far finding it fairly straightforward to use. I'm having trouble with the Amazon Block - I've registered as UK affiliate, changed the settings on my SquareSpace page to show it's UK based but despite this the click throughs are going to the US (.com) site. The items I'm selecting are books - I just can't see what else I need to do to make the links go to the UK site. Can anyone advise? Thanks Liz
  15. Site URL: https://www.showmemystyle.com/home/show-me-my-eco-style-no-more-plastic Added my ID a few weeks ago - worked like a charm. Created a new post with new links today and a squarespace ID is being inserted instead of mine. Any ideas? Link with correct ID https://www.showmemystyle.com/home/show-my-style-the-mandalorian https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Mandalorian-Poster-Season/dp/B07ZTD59CG?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAIL4RM4LBA573ICLA&tag=showmemystyle-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07ZTD59CG Link with incorrect ID https://www.showmemystyle.com/home/show-me-my-eco-style-no-more-plastic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VSLDZJ6?tag=squarespace0a-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 Help text says that I should be able to change the ID and it will update all links. Doesn't work. Also -- the Amazon Block creator might be broken since the links are so much diff from the correct vs incorrect one. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Add an Amazon Associates ID To ensure you're properly credited for Amazon's Associate program, add your Associates ID. After adding your ID, you won't need to use Associates links in Amazon Blocks because our integration creates the links through the blocks. If you change the ID, every Amazon Block on your site will update to reflect the new ID. To add your Amazon Associates ID: In the Home Menu, click Settings, click Advanced, then click External API Keys. In the Amazon Associate Tag box, enter your Associates ID. Click Save.
  16. I'm currently testing the Amazon blocks on my website. When I try to search for a product, I get the error - 'Amazon Search Service Is Temporarily Unavailable'. Is this a common issue other people are experiencing?
  17. I just finished moving one ecommerce business from BigCommerce to Squarespace. I am looking at moving other sites but what is giving me pause is that 20-30% of the revenue I am receiving on these sites is through Amazon Pay. From the limited amount that I understand, integrating Amazon Pay is not that different from integrating with Paypal from a technical standpoint. Is there anyway that Squarespace would consider integrating with Amazon Pay like many of their competitors are doing? https://pay.amazon.com/integration Thank you very much for your consideration!
