  1. Site URL: https://tuba-panda-nwtw.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css Could you please help me justify the product description text on the Shop? The usual CSS used to justify text doesn't seem to work on the Shop. Thank you in advance for your kind help!
  2. I am helping my friend with his acting portfolio site. I have a gallery slideshow that I have aligned to the left with custom CSS. How would I align text to the right of that using CSS? The custom code I used to align the gallery to the left is. (as seen in the first image) .gallery-slideshow-item img { left: 0 !important;} I would ideally like to align the text like the second image. (The only issue with the second image is that the image is not a slideshow gallery but a still image ) Thank you in advance for your help!
  3. Site URL: https://marlin-gopher-jtch.squarespace.com/contact Hi SS community, I have two questions regarding a vertical line that I hope you can help with: 1. What is the code to run a vertical line down the full height of a section? 100% does not work. 2. When I increase the line height, it shifts the text elements down with it. How can I set up this vertical line so that it does not affect the other elements? This is the code currently in place: .vertical-line { position: relative; background: #000000; height: 300px; width: 1px; margin: 0-auto; } Much appreciated 🙂
  4. Site URL: https://www.emmanueladewusi.org/ Hello! If anyone can help with this that would be great. For some reason the alignment of some of the text is off and my instagram feed integration appears horizontally (like on desktop version) instead of vertically, but when I edit the mobile version of my page in the Squarespace editor, everything appears correct. I have attached screenshots below to show what it looks like in the Squarespace mobile version editor vs. what it looks like when I actually publish the page.
  5. 6. Site URL: http://leirbaaletlyd.no Hello everyone, I'm quite new to this; I have been working on my website for a couple of weeks. I've managed to glean from the forums here how to display both logo and title for my site header, and have been quite happy with my design (still undecided on the color scheme, though). However, when I added a dark photograph to the top of my homepage, I saw that I needed to add a different logo to that particular page. I've managed to do something of the sort by adding css styling to the advanced-section of that page (also from what I've read here), but now the logo only displays at top left screen, regardless of screen size - whereas all other pages has logo and title left for web, and logo above title centered for mobile, which is what I prefer. Here's what the other pages look like: And here's the troublesome mobile one: and the working web-version: Website at http://www.leirbaaletlyd.no Pw: BaaletsKnitren Any help would be much appreciated! Kind regards, Roald
  7. Site URL: https://www.breannadawnphoto.com/home Hi all, I am trying to get my text aligned on the bottom right of my image, on my hompage, just in the mobile view. Is there a code or trick to this? thank you!
  8. Site URL: https://kanaconsult.com/ Hi there, Hoping someone can help. I have four logos in the footer of my clients' site and would like to right align them. See attached screenshot. In mobile view, I'd also like to have them in 2 or 3 columns (as on 2nd attachment) Been trying to find a solution to no avail. URL is https://kanaconsult.com/ Many thanks!
  9. Site URL: https://themasters.ai In my home landing page, everything is left-indented, except the header and the footer. I would like the content and design of the webpage to be responsive to the screen-size. If the screen is larger, I'd like it to expand and the content to be central. Can anybody please be able to help me with this?
  10. Site URL: https://bettertotalk.com Hi, I'm trying to find a better way of aligning the text in my footer so that the opening times are aligned. I think that TAB should work but in Squarespace pressing that key cycles around blocks. I have used the space key in the image below but obviously they aren't quite lined up. I also tried to use 2 different text blocks, but as you can see in the 2nd screenshot, they start to overlap when on a smaller screen. Is there a way to implement this? Thanks in advance!
  11. Site URL: https://www.alisonedgar.com Don't know if this is a bug as it worked before, but I'm currently unable to see the whole of my top section on mobile. I've attached screenshots but it may be best to look at the website directly. Does anyone have any suggestions where I may be going wrong? Appreciate any help in advance 🙂

  13. Site URL: https://www.farmoconee.org/schedule-of-events On my page https://www.farmoconee.org/schedule-of-events The schedule of events shows side by side on the computer. On mobile, the columns obviously stack. How do I keep them from stacking on mobile?
  14. Hello! I cannot share the site I am on but I can share a snippet of an issue I am having. I am trying to put a cool block background behind some text as a text style but it always goes full width. I don't want this to span the full width of the page. Putting a spacer on each side becomes problematic when scaling the page. Does anyone have any code? What I used is below: // Type Style Purple // #block-b3b375abb1ec025926c0 { background: #c40aff; padding: .2rem, .2rem, .2rem, .2rem; max-width: 200px; } // Type Style Purple // It's also not centered properly. Any help would be great!
  15. Site URL: https://cod-dandelion-38r5.squarespace.com/ I'd like my google calendar to be centered on the page. I tried adding align= "center" to the iframe embed code for my google calendar, but that didn't work. PW NWFC https://cod-dandelion-38r5.squarespace.com/members-only-main-page
  16. Site URL: https://www.myartbeatflorals.com My tagline below my logo is a single line on my large desktop monitor, but on my laptop it's two lines overlapped. And it doesn't show up at all on my iPhone. Any codes to fix this? Please be specific about what I need to put where...I'm limping my way through this code stuff. 🙂
  17. Site URL: https://albumlogy.com Hi everyone, hope all is well. I've been trying to change the design of the simple list section on my mobile homepage, but I can't seem to find a way to make it a single column list with the text to the left of the images, with all items stacked on top of one another, like in the image below (vice.com). I'd like to have my lists with a similar design to vice's. My site is https://albumlogy.com I am currently using the following code to break the list into two columns (it's applied to page settings > advanced): <style>@media only screen and (max-width: 640px){.user-items-list-simple:not([data-num-columns="1"]) {grid-template-columns: repeat(2,1fr); grid-gap: 1px!important} .list-item-content__title{font-size: 1rem!important} .list-item{padding: .1rem!important}}</style>
  18. Site URL: http://www.zondagontwerpers.nl/work-copy I built a portfolio one-paged website for my customer, who wants to show the contributors of each project under every project (I have one project per page section). I've added these contributors in a gallery block as a grid, so the people can be clicked and scrolled through in the lightbox. The problem is that every project has a different amount of contributors. That leads to the galleries having different sized images, unless I make the number of items per row equal, but in that case I'm left with residual space to the right when the number of contributors is less than that number. I want the pictures to be lined out to the right. I was trying to find a way to reverse the row but I can't seem to get it done. The way it is supposed to look is this: And then for example the next project has 4 contributors and I can't get the size the same. The next problem is the mobile and tablet version, on which the pictures are shown either way too small or way too big. My goal is to have them placed in the same manner on mobile as on the desktop version and with the same proportions. I'm looking for a solution that will continue to work on the entire page, for every such block, as I'm using a gallery block grid on every section. Otherwise I will have to update CSS for every new project the customer posts. If that's not possible that's also fine but then I need to figure out the right code for every individual gallery block. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance, Dani
  19. Site URL: https://www.infiniteidieh.com/media Hi, On desktop the video block content is in a zig zag order. However, on mobile I would like for headline and body text to come first and then the video. Website: https://www.infiniteidieh.com/ Password: HBC2022 (Media Page)
  20. Site URL: https://www.kindenterprises.co/financial-wellbeing I'm running into trouble with the mobile version of my banner image. There's a few issues: The text blocks saying 'in partnership with' and 'brought to you by' are reordering weirdly, and the logos have stacked in the opposite direction. Is there an easy work around for this? Ideally it would be great to have them side by side as in the desktop version. When on squarespace mobile edit view, the h2 header text 'A new kind of Retirement and Financial Wellbeing Conference' is showing that it has successfully resized, however on my actual mobile phone, the font is huge and a generic font family. I can't work out why there is this discrepancy? Would appreciate any help with these! Thank you 🙂
  21. Site URL: https://bit.ly/3aWR8tp I am using 7.1 with the new design upgrade including gridded sections. I have a page that I want to add (5) side-by-side buttons, and they are each 3 grid blocks wide by 1 tall. The grid only seems to allow for an equal number of columns, so aligning my buttons starting from the center of the grid is impossible, and reducing each button down to 2x1 also isn't possible due to font size (don't want to make smaller.) Additionally, making 4x1 is too big. Does anyone know how to adjust the number of columns for a grid? Currently only seeing how to adjust number of rows.
  22. Site URL: https://www.rachelcruzbuccalo.com/ Hello all, I would appreciate any help on building custom css that would align my navigational links to the left of my navigational folder, which I've custom coded to be an image of a cross. Currently, the navigational links ("Work" and "About") are situated far below the cross, but I would like for them to be directly to the left of the image or even bottom left of the image. Neither padding or left/right values have successfully moved the text. Below is a screenshot of the current header layout. I'd also appreciate any advice on how to make the navigational links bolded when hovered over/clicked on. At the moment, they become bold when hovered over, but when the page is clicked on the link is underlined instead of bolded. Is there a way to bold the active link, remove the underline, all without disrupting the background image I've coded to produce the cross? I will attach all of the code currently applied to my header text below. Thank you for your guidance! a { text-decoration: none !important; } header a { text-decoration: none !important; } a { background-image: none !important; } header a { background-image: none !important; } header a:hover { font-weight: 900; } header a:active { font-weight: bold !important; } .header-nav-folder-content {background-color: transparent!important} .header-announcement-bar-wrapper [href="/main-navigation"], .header-menu--folder-list .header-menu-nav-item [href="/main-navigation"]{ background-image: url(https://www.freeiconspng.com/thumbs/cross-png/cross-png-28.png)!important; background-size: contain !important; background-repeat: no-repeat !important; background-position: center center !important; color: transparent !important; } /* dropdown menu text size */ .header-nav-folder-content a { font-size: 18px; }
  23. Site URL: https://mackerel-capybera-f7fa.squarespace.com Hello- I am trying to completly redo my site for 7.1. Our main banner image does not resize for mobile and custom css does not seem to do anything for my site. Is there something I am missing so I can resize this image when you are on the mobile version of our site? Password is 1234.
  24. Site URL: http://johnlauriephoto.com/story/n-a-b/ I recently saw this website and I love how this slideshow works: Click onto a project, then an image slideshow comes up that is aligned centrally within a page, when the window is resized (best seen in desktop). Is there a way to do this or something similar in Squarespace?
  25. Site URL: https://copper-cardioid-3n96.squarespace.com/research (site password: testg891) The alignment of the text in the Descriptions for my accordion blocks looks quite strange. The description text is confined to a box right on the left hand side, and that box is narrower than the title text. Also because the icon is placed on the left, the description text actually starts to the left of the title text. (image attached) I'd really like my description text in a box the same width as the title text, and starting at the same point. I would be very grateful for any help!!
