  1. Site URL: https://leviebranding.com/ I'm working with a new technology company and I'm looking for insights from the community on how to build high-traffic for our Squarespace web landing page. We're in the process of deploying an SEO strategy as well as social media ads and content, but would love to hear about whether anyone here can share from any past experience building high-traffic for a new website, much appreciated!
  2. I want to make an ad posting website automate the classified ads and they will shown on community ads page after admin approval just like : ilovecreatives.com but i cant able to find the best extension or third party application for this !!! I have tried it to make it by membership works but Can't get the desired output. As It as its basic template to show it listings and filters. I just need a similar website like ilovecreatives.com kindly help me . to find the best solution for this.
  3. Hi friends, I need some counsel. I have a client who - after receiving my quote for his web design - is asking a good question, "I am trying to decide what the return on investment is in a website currently or spend the money on marketing. What are your thoughts?" I really don't know how to answer that question as I don't purchase advertising for clients nor do I know how to quantify the value of the sort of marketing he is interested in. Any thoughts?????
  4. Site URL: https://www.islandhome.co.uk/ Hi, Just wondering if there is any update regarding Squarespace offering an access token option for Facebook CAPI? its been a year now since IOS14, and I don't seem to see any further info on what is happening with this?
  5. Hi - has anyone successfully verified their domain on Facebook? As part of the iOS 14 release, FB is requiring that we verify our domain and offers options to do this via meta-tag injection, HTML file upload, and DNS verification. I tried the meta-tag injection using the code injection feature on Squarespace, but it still wasn't recognizing the code on the site (although I do see the code when I look at the page source). Both FB and Squarespace have been unhelpful so any guidance would be VERY welcome. Thanks!
  6. Site URL: https://www.minimizemymess.com/ I can set up Ezoic ads, but they seem to stop my forms from working - as per screenshot below
  7. Site URL: https://disegnojournal.com Is there any ad serving third party platform that integrates with Squarespace that'll let my client track, rotate, and run their own ads, without joining an ad network? (So not Adsense). The aim is to run more than one ad in an ad space. My client currently sells Leaderboards and MPU space that I set up, but these ads run one banner at a time, for example. They are looking for an integration where they can run two banners in the same space, so the ad changes when the page is refreshed, for example. Thanks, Beth
  8. I was contacted today by a lead who needs someone with expertise in e-commerce sites. Anyone interested, please be in touch with me as soon as possible. This gentleman lives in Hendersonville NC and would ideally like someone local, but I think more than anything he just needs help!
  9. Site URL: https://www.lelephant-voyageur.com/ hello Squarespace team! I received an audit report from SEMrush on my website, indicating that "some pages show issues with an external ressources block into the file robot.txt." . I installed widgets from GetYourGuide on some blogposts, and one additional code injection for GetYourGuide analytics (footer) . My pages are good indexed on Google Search Console, but I'm afraid this problem. And most of the time the widgets do not appear. Here is my website: https://www.lelephant-voyageur.com/ according to SEMrush and Google Search Console, indeed these codes from GetYourGuide are blocked. How can I solve this issue? Many thanks in advance! Romane
  10. Site URL: https://www.nerdlandcollectibles.com/ We have just started our website and we are looking to grow more customers to our website. I know we have used google ads for advertising and sometimes we will use Instagram but I was wondering if there was something else we can do to increase viewers to our site? Any Help would be amazing
  11. There are many ways to advertise your business online. Whether it be through Facebook Marketplace, Instagram Shopping, or paid search, there are no shortage of ways to get your name out there. One of the biggest tools online marketers use to great results is Google Ads. With an average of 3.5 billion searches per day, Google Ads offers a way to get your product in front of many sets of eyes. Because it is such a robust platform with so many different settings, options, budget trackers and rules, starting out can be intimidating. According to Hootsuite and Semrush, you should consider doing these things before starting: Define your goals and target audience for the ad Optimize the landing page where the ad will link to Think about catchy headlines (but no clickbait!) Make sure to use a negative keywords list Test multiple ad copies Do you have any tips for using Google Ads effectively? Any tricks on how to get the most out of Google Ads? Tell us in the comments below!
  12. Need a review and tune up for my existing SS site, not e-commerce. Referral to SS SEO expert appreciated. Ken kencg@live.com
  13. Site URL: https://thedetoureffect.com/blog/digital-nomad-gift-ideas Hi there, I found out that I can give an image link a nofollow attribute by pasting this onto the end of the affiliate link: "rel="sponsored This works when you click on the image itself. But if I write a caption and try to include a link there, it doesn't work. Example: I chose the "overlap" design for my images here because it looks cooler than other methods of advertising/linking to products. I wrote long captions to go with each image and included some links in the caption. If I paste "rel="sponsored onto the end of those links, clicking on the links will bring up an error. So I removed "rel="sponsored from all of them, but this is going to hurt my SEO ranking. Any ideas? Thank you!
  14. Site URL: https://thedetoureffect.com/blog/roadside-attractions-northern-arizona I tried searching the terms "amazon" and "native ads" in the forums but couldn't find anything. I like the custom native shopping ads from Amazon. When I insert the code into my site, sometimes the products don't show up at all. Sometimes it will only show one or two products, even though I had directed it to show 4 products. Sometimes it will only show products on mobile, or only on desktop. What gives? I have adblocker turned off. I have tried on multiple browsers. I emailed Amazon Associates support and they said if the code doesn't play nice with my site then it's Squarespace's fault. The screenshots show where the ads are supposed to be. On my desktop there's nothing. On my cell there's one product showing but there should be two. This issue has been happening for years. I could link/screenshot you to many many other pages on my site that have this issue.
  15. Site URL: http://www.janicelindsay.com Hi there, My client wants to make sure their site will appear as an add as soon as someone googles their key words. Let's say "colour consultant and Canada" How do I make sure the site I design for them is also an ad on google?
  16. With so many channels available for advertising a company and its products, it can be tricky to decide how much to spend on advertising and where to allocate your budget to maximize profit for each dollar spent on ads. According to Inc., a successful advertising budget takes into account several things, including the cost of each product, the target consumer, which media channels (i.e. social media or more traditional mediums like print and television) are best to reach your target audience, and their motivations for buying your products. Not to be confused with marketing, the right advertising can boost your company’s presence in the minds of consumers and, as a result, can help you reach your profit goals. How do you make the most of your advertising budget? Which mistakes do you avoid? Tell us all about it in the comments below.
  17. Site URL: https://www.partnersincrime.co/ Hi, I've been using this code for a slightly grey overlay and text pop-upp on hover. However, I need the text to be smaller in mobile view, because right now its cut off in the edges and you can't read the full titles. Anyone who knows what I could add for that purpose? /* Darken summary on hover */ div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611589263652_6335 .slide a:after { position: absolute; content: ""; background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5); z-index: 999; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; opacity: 0; transition: all 0.5s; } div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611589263652_6335 .slide a { position: relative; } div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611589263652_6335 .slide a { position: relative; opacity: 1 !important; } div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611589263652_6335 .slide:hover a:after { opacity: 1; } a.image-slide-anchor.content-fill { opacity: 1 !important; } a.image-slide-anchor.content-fill:after { content: ""; background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5); position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; opacity: 0; transition: all 0.5s; } .slide:hover a.image-slide-anchor.content-fill:after { opacity: 1; } .image-slide-title { color: white !important; z-index: 10000; } .sqs-gallery-block-grid .slide .margin-wrapper:hover a.image-slide-anchor { opacity: .4; -webkit-transition: opacity .3s ease-in-out; transition: opacity .3s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: opacity .3s ease-in-out; -o-transition: opacity .3s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: opacity .3s ease-in-out; } .sqs-gallery-block-grid .slide .margin-wrapper .image-slide-title { display: block; position: absolute; top: 0px; right: 0; bottom: 0; left: 0; display: flex; justify-content: center; align-items: center; padding: 0em; -webkit-transition: all .3s ease-out; -moz-transition: all .3s ease-out; -o-transition: all .3s ease-out; -ms-transition: all .3s ease-out; transition: all .3s ease-out; margin-bottom: 0px !important; pointer-events: none; } .sqs-gallery-block-grid .slide .margin-wrapper .image-slide-title { color: #FFFFFF; opacity: 0; text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 34px; line-height: 125%; letter-spacing: 3px; margin-bottom: 240px; } .sqs-gallery-block-grid .slide .margin-wrapper:hover .image-slide-title { color: #FFFFFF; opacity:100; text-transform: uppercase; vertical-align: middle; font-size: 34px; line-height: 125%; letter-spacing: 3px; margin-bottom: 240px; } @media only screen and (max-width: 400px) { .sqs-gallery-block-grid .slide .margin-wrapper:hover .image-title { color: white; opacity: 0; } } header#header { padding-bottom: 20px; } .slide a:after { cursor: pointer; } Thank you, M
  18. Site URL: https://www.zackgonderdance.com/ Hello, I have recently launched this website and would love to share on social media channels but couldn't get the preview working properly even after I've inserted the Open Graph Protocol (OGP). I went to Settings > Advance > Code Injection. And from there, I inserted the codes into the Header section and added the following: <meta property='og:title' content='Zack Gonder Dance'/> <meta property='og:image' content='https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5fea7aee4e1a8a328805623b/1614137266912-WZGPPO3M2P4CPQX6AKA9/ke17ZwdGBToddI8pDm48kHH9S2ID7_bpupQnTdrPcoF7gQa3H78H3Y0txjaiv_0fDoOvxcdMmMKkDsyUqMSsMWxHk725yiiHCCLfrh8O1z4YTzHvnKhyp6Da-NYroOW3ZGjoBKy3azqku80C789l0nQwvinDXPV4EYh2MRzm-RRB5rUELEv7EY2n0AZOrEupxpSyqbqKSgmzcCPWV5WMiQ/4Qs+Bard+2018_rv_PointedToe.jpg?format=2500w'/> <meta property='og:description' content='Zack Gonder Dance blends cultures and art forms, dance styles and musical genres— making dance accessible, energizing and captivating for audiences of all ages across the globe.'/> <meta property='og:url' content='//www.zackgonderdance.com'/>
  19. Site URL: https://www.ehansalytics.com/blog/2021/4/1/change-the-day-your-week-starts-in-power-query I have a paid SquareSpace account, and just noticed there is a bunch of click-bait sponsored ads at the bottom of my page. How do I remove those? I cannot find anything in my settings to disable that. Thanks.
  20. Site URL: http://www.corinne.studio Hi there, thanks for the help in advance - trying to setup Google Adsense on my site (unless someone can recommend something better?), and it's giving me an initial code to paste into the site before I get it up and running. The code gives a syntax error when pasted into general CSS, and I'm not sure where the site-wide header code would be placed. Can anyone advise where to paste this code? I guess it's actually a 'script' rather than code... Thanks!! - Corinne
  21. Has anyone implemented the Snapchat Pixel on their site with custom event parameters? I have placed the 'Page View' pixel in the <head>, but am seeking to create bottom-of-the-funnel events ('Add to Cart', 'Initiate Checkout', 'Purchase' etc.), but don't understand how to implement the code across specific pages on my site. Is this possible on Squarespace? What is the proper code to enable the pixel to fire on specific actions?
  22. Site URL: https://lucretiareport.com/ I'm trying to monetize my page and because adsense has been giving me problems I applied with some of their competitors. I got approved to run ads by a company called Infolinks and tried to put some of their ads on my website. But when I put the code in, I had two problems, on desktop, the ads just weren't appearing, and on mobile they were appearing but none of the links on my website would work. I don't know if this problem is on the advertisers side or squarespace's. Does anyone have any idea what this is?
  23. Site URL: https://www.luxeofmykonos.com/ I have got as my top headline a video as an introduction to my site and the video can be seen on desktops, however, when i go on my site from my mobile i doesnt show the video, instead, it just shows the background photo thats meant to be there in case the video doesnt play. could anyone explain me how to make the video play on mobile phones as well, please? Do I have to decrease the quality of the video or perhaps use Vimeo instead of Youtube? or do i have to insert an speciffic CSS code to unable the video from showing on mobile devices? Thank you
  24. I'd like to add a pop up on my website that invites visitors to download a how-to PDF, then, using the email address they enter I'll begin an email drip campaign. I see Squarespace has all the tools I need but I'm not sure the best practices I should use to do this effectively... or maybe I should separate this and use Mailchimp instead? Here's a bullet list of what I want to do: - create a pop up that says, "hey there! sign up and download this helpful resource that'll solve your problems!" - once they add their email address a PDF is sent to them (it's the resource I mentioned in the popup) - In the following weeks/months I'll send a weekly email with more details, offers, testimonials, etc.. also: - Ideally this same email signup form can be used on my website too. That way I can have the offer in a pop up and in the body of some pages. - Can I export email lists that are created within Squarespace? Assuming this is possible and reasonable within Squarespace, how do I best accomplish it? Do I use Mailing List or Newsletter? Should the free PDF be part of a Store and I just create links to it within my popup? Or is it best to do all of this through a third party like Mailchimp? I guess I'm looking for best practices for creating a popup which trades a visitor's email address for a helpful PDF and a number of emails over the next few months. And should it be done entirely within Squarespace or using a third-party?
