  1. Site URL: https://www.robpeebles.com/genz401k Hello, can someone suggest an alternative to Google AdSense as a way to place an ad on my blog? Thanks to all.
  2. I'm trying to find a workaround to enable me to add an ads.txt file to the root of a domain in Squarespace. I've searched high and low, but don't seem to be able to find a solution that will work properly. I would appreciate advice from anyone who has found a solution. From what I've read so far, it seems as if it isn't worth running Adsense if you are not able to place the required ads.txt file in the root of your domain. Without this, your revenue would be significantly reduced as many advertisers won't serve ads on sites without it in place.
  3. For anyone who has been trying to (unsuccessfully) install Google Adsense on their Squarespace site, here are the instructions. This is similar to previous instructions, but with important changes made. This is a permanent solution. Please give it anywhere from 24 hours to a week to take effect. https://www.graesen.com/blog/resolve-google-adsense-your-earnings-may-be-at-risk-error-for-squarespace
  4. Hi I would like to know if it is possible to intergrate google advertising on our upcoming blog, like you see on this site here which is made with Wordpress: https://crochetpreneur.com/how-to-start-a-blog-for-your-etsy-shop/ Kind regards Michael
  5. Site URL: https://www.jonasstensgaard.com/shop/funny-home-is-where-quote-bundle-svg-cut-files-family-quote-craft-file-funny-quote-design I'm on the York template. I've just started implementing Adsense on my website and have added ads via code blocks but I noticed a problem: When I add the ad blocks it destroys the way the navigation works on mobile. When I say destroy I mean you can click the hamburger menu but it looks like the menu is empty. In fact it looks like it's empty when in reality a LOT of space has been added above and below the links. The problem exists both in real-life viewing as well as through my squarespace website editor. I contacted Squarespace support and the guy I spoke to found out the problem only exists when using Safari. I tried clearing the cache and all that by following these instructions: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004581087 But that didn't solve the issue. I also tried removing my code from the site-wide Code Injection as well as the custom CSS but that didn't change anything. Also, on pages similar to the one I linked to where I haven't added any ad code block the problem doesn't exist. So it has something to do with the way Safari handles the code block with the ad code maybe? Any idea as to how I can solve this problem? EDIT: So, I managed to do a sort of fix where I added custom CSS that targeted the container of the menu: .overlay-nav-container { height: 0px; } I just set the height to 0px and that fixed the problem - but you can still scroll and scroll because when I inspected the site code it said the container height was more than 5000px! Why does it say that? And is there another and more proper way to fix this? And is the code I added safe enough to use or will it create problems for me in some other part of my site?
  6. Hi, I create company websites and they all have a blog page. I am getting started with using adsense for the blogs. My question is two parts. 1. Can I control it to only advertise on the blog pages and not the rest of the company site? 2. If so, where do I insert the code (and how) - if your willing to help that much too. Thank you! Here is an example site home page: https://www.hillaryloveshair.com/ blog page: https://www.hillaryloveshair.com/asheville-hair-salon-stylist-blog
  7. Hello, on my website I am having issues on iOS in Safari and Chrome specifically where ads seem to be interfering with the functionality of buttons on my Squarespace site. The buttons on a page work fine until I start scrolling by placing my finger within an ad area to begin the scrolling motion. You can see an example of this here, try scrolling up and down on the page by pressing within the ad area. And then try the + button at the top or Continue button at the bottom and see they no longer seem to function. They work fine before doing this: https://marvelguides.com/silver-age-part-1 Also if you select the X button to close the ad you initiated scrolling on, it seems to allow you to interact with the buttons on the page again. Any ideas on what's causing this and how to prevent it? I really don't want my site viewers to think the links and buttons are broken.
