  1. Site URL: https://www.guesthouselit.com Hi everyone! First-time poster here. Long-time Squarespace user. I'm interested in knowing how to change the logo on the top of the left sidebar on my blog pages only. The site is www.guesthouselit.com. I want the blog logo to be an inversion of the regular site logo, attached here. Can anyone recommend a solution? I assume I use the "Page header code injection" and "Post blog item code injection" features, but I can't determine what to paste in there. (I'm a newbie to CSS and HTML, so simplicity is appreciated.) Many, many thanks, Jane
  2. Hey :) I was wondering if it is possible to change the position of social links icons on the Wells template? By default they seem to be right under the navigation but I would like them placed at the very bottom of the sidebar/page. I know Wells doesn't have a footer but just wondering if this is something that can be done. Thanks!
  3. Site URL: https://denim-avocado-ex87.squarespace.com/ Hi all, when I open the website, I click on a folder to expand the menu and open a page within a folder, and then i have to CLICK twice, to collapse the same/active folder. 1) Could this be fixed? 2) Could I also make folder to auto-collapse when a different folder expands..for some reason sometimes it does auto-collapse, and sometimes it just doesn't? Thanks in advance. https://denim-avocado-ex87.squarespace.com/ pass: Josephine2021 865302814_ScreenRecording2021-04-05at10_42_22.mov
  4. Hi, Is it possible to delete/hide the nav bar section on the wells template? I just want to get ride of the white space as I don't have any links there. Thanks!
  5. Site URL: https://www.rookspress.com/products/babel Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to use code injection and jquery to display a list of a product's tags on the product page? Thanks, Oz
  6. Site URL: https://www.laurendenitzio.com By default, the Wells template displays all navigation folders as expanded in the mobile menu, so you see all sub pages. I want people to be able to click on a folder to expand it, otherwise the mobile menu is way too busy. Is there code injection I can use to collapse the folders in the mobile menu? Thanks so much! https://www.laurendenitzio.com
  7. Site URL: https://anthroforth.com/ Hi there! I hope somebody could help me out as I tried to find the answer in previous posts but didn't work for me: I'm struggling with the max site-with of my portfolio page which is set to 1800px, which means there's way too much white space at the right side of my site.. I'm hoping to be able to adjust it just like here: https://www.andreromaophotography.com/print-shop Thanks a lot in advance! Best, Jule
  8. Site URL: https://silver-grouse-tc6g.squarespace.com/config/ Hello, In the MOBILE view, I would like to increase the space between each of the images in my gallery pages. I am using Wells template and my issue is only with the mobile, where it can be confusing as to whether a caption belongs to the image above, or the one below. I would like more space between the images regardless for a less cluttered look (and giving more importance to each image).
  9. Anyone have CSS code to change the word Menu to the hamburger icon on mobile navigation? Thanks!
  10. I was adding some extra code to into the Header section of the older version of Wells template, made a mistake and now am trying to find the original header code so I can plug that back in. Anyone have that? I am assuming that I have 7.0 - I think the 7.1 versions have some safe guards in place so this doesn't happen.
  11. Site URL: http://www.ednortonphoto.com/ Hey all, I’m using the wells template and the design for web and a tablet is fine. But with the mobile design it lays out the images in a list with captions below. I want them just as thumbnails but 2 per row and no captions until you open the image. Pretty much like this https://www.eminozmen.com/ Is there a way of doing this with CSS or does anyone know of a different template that could do this? Thanks in advance! Ed
  12. Site URL: https://www.jordangraceowens.com Hello, I'm trying to create a link and page in the secondary navigation that are hidden on desktop but show on mobile. Thanks for any help!
  13. Site URL: https://www.jordangraceowens.com Hello! I have navigation links nested inside a folder, and I'm trying to hide them on mobile. They're hidden on desktop (until you click) but everything shows up on mobile. I've tried searching for custom CSS but haven't had luck with anything. Thanks for any help!
  14. Site URL: https://www.rookspress.com/featured Hi, is it possible to exclude sold out items from summary blocks on the Wells template? Ideally I would like them to be excluded completely, i.e. no blank spaces. The blocks are on the following page: https://www.rookspress.com/featured Thanks, Oz
  15. Site URL: https://www.jordandanyluk.com I’m trying to add a couple panoramic photos to my Squarespace site. However whenever I add a panoramic shot it scales the photo down to the width of the site, making it took small (especially when viewed on phones) . Is there anyway to have the pano take up most of the screen vertically and either add a horizontal scroll, or VR touch to pan option? Any help would be appreciated thanks! Keep in mind these photos can have there own separate gallery or coded page
  16. I recently switched to the Wells template from Avenue because I wanted a sidebar. Above Avalon turned me on to Wells. My site is basically a Daring Fireball -ish type of thing. What I would like to accomplish is to bring my content to the center. I did see this post, last updated in October of 2014. The problem with the solutions listed there is that it assumes I am okay having a super wide "content" block (where all my text goes). In fact, landofnoms has a site with an @siteWidth of ~1000px. That's too much for me. Here is a screenshot of what my site looks like now: I basically just want to move all that over so that it is centered, regardless of the size of the desktop display (On mobile everything looks as it should, with the sidebar disappearing and #mobileNav doing it's thing.) Here is the stylesheet governing the appearance of the site: /* COLORS & BACKGROUNDS ***********************************************/ body { background-color: @siteBackground; color: @bodyTextColor; }a, a:visited { color: @bodyLinkColor; }a:hover { color: @bodyLinkHoverColor; }.main-nav { a, a:active, .folder li a { color: @navColor; } .active-link a, .folder li.active-link a { color: @navActiveColor; } a:hover, .folder li a:hover { color: @navHoverColor; 17. Hello, I am trying to make the logo on my newsletters/email blasts BIGGER! I am sure that its a css solution I need, if its possible... I dont want the logo to be any bigger on the rest of the site, but the emails I send out look weird at the size they are! I know how you can increase the size in the style section to the right when I am editing, but that doesn't go big enough (pic attached beneath)... does anyone have any clever coding? its a Wells template. many thanks you genius people! Mark
  18. Site URL: http://www.robinholder.work/aboutrobinholder Hello, My client is using Wells and it's working great for 99% of her needs but there's one major flaw - the Body Link Color refuses to change and you simply cannot see the links because they nearly match the background. I've tried many times to change it and it stays light grey no matter what. Is there some way to fix this???
  19. Site URL: https://www.anqi-wu.com Hello! I am currently using the Wells template and really like the fixed sidebar navigation. However, for some reason the bottom part of my sidebar is cut off on the screen. The social link icons which are suppose to be at the bottom of the navigation aren't showing. Example below: The only way to get it to show is when I resize my Chrome browser to 80%. Example: Is there a custom css code available to auto resize my website so nothing is cut off, or to be able to just resize the sidebar navigation (20% smaller) so that I can get everything to show on screen. Thank you!
  20. Hello! I've been trying to make a text block fixed in some of my pages, so that when I scroll down trough it, the text will always stay in the same place. And also, if it helps, I'm using wells-template. So far I haven't been too succesfull. For the record, I have almost zero knowledge on coding. Thank you in advance! I've also attached an image in case my words weren't clear enough!

  22. Site URL: https://www.marcelkimble.com/ Hi, I used a css code to install a fixed header for my Wells template. Unfortunately the header overlaps my page when you use a mobile device to visit the page. My code: @media screen and (max-width:640px) { div#headerWrapper { position: fixed !important; top: 0 !important; left: 0 !important; right: 0 !important; background: white; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: contain; background-position: center center; width: 30px; height: 80px; display: inline-block; visibility: visible; } div#mobileNav { margin-top: 110px; } } @media screen and (max-width:640px) { #mobileNav { background: #a3a3a3; position: fixed; top: 5px; left: 0; right: 0; z-index: 999; } } Thanks in advance!
  23. Site URL: https://www.chrismforsyth.com/keep-direction-by-good-methods Hello everybody, I'm trying to align the images in a Gallery page (Wells template) to the left so that they're butted up against the edge of the gallery container/sidebar padding. I'm looking for a site-wide solution if anyone can help. Here's a gallery page from my site for example: https://www.chrismforsyth.com/keep-direction-by-good-methods Thank you so very much
  24. Site URL: https://grouse-goose-b4ym.squarespace.com/photographicdiaries On my normal Wells Gallery Pages, you can flick through my images from left to right with a simple arrow cursor. I've added a slideshow gallery into a blank page, and there's no way of creating a simple navigation arrow. The only option I have is 'Show Next and Previous Controls' in the Design edit section, however these don't look great, and don't connect to the layout for the rest of my site. I've tried copy and pasting the Custom CSS coding to create > and < arrows, but that didn't work. Any help/solutions much appreciated. Thanks, Felix
  25. Site URL: https://cylinder-haddock-nfkd.squarespace.com Hello, I'd like to have a separate style for the sub navigation items in the expandable side menu for my site, which is built using the Wells template. At the moment, my navigation looks like image A, where the main and sub nav fonts are identical: But, I'd like it to look more like image B, where the sizes, weights and colours of the main and sub nav fonts are different: As a bonus, I'd like to be able to adjust the indentation of the sub nav items, if possible. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks, Greg UPDATE: I've managed to customise the fonts (see screenshot with code, below, for anyone else who is looking for a similar solution) but I can't seem to alter the colour (again, see screenshot with code, where the colour is meant to be specified): I'd be grateful for any help with the above problem. Thanks again.
