  1. Hi, For our products I have already hidden the AUD currency code using the following CSS code: body.native-currency-code-aud .sqs-money-native:after { content: ""; } Now we have created a product variant, the AUD currency code reappears. Is there code to specifically hide the variant currency code? Thank you.
  2. Hello there, I've searched all over and can't find an answer to this. For various reasons that would take a while to explain, we need to be able to get the Option columns on the bulk upload CSVs (so the options basically) to display next to a product without needing to have variants or drop down menus. Is this even possible? I was hoping there would some CSS out there to make it happen. We cannot put the information we'd like to show into the Description box, though that would be the easiest solution, as a third party will be populating that field with other information, and having to design spreadsheets to combine two sets of data every time we want to upload products would be more time consuming than we can manage. So in a nutshell does anybody know of a way to get the product Options to show when you have just one product and a single variant, and in just simple text form, not as drop down menus (basically in the same way that Price can be displayed under the product title, but with text instead of numbers.) We were already too committed to Squarespace to move to another commerce platform for this so I'm hoping there's a way to do it! Thanks very much
  3. I would like the "Collect Additional Information" Form to pop up for only one of my product variants. One variant is "With Customized Text" (more expensive than other variant). So I want that form to only appear if that specific variant is chosen. Possible?
  4. I am trying to find a way to add small circles under my products that are filled with a certain color. I want customers to quickly be able to see a product, and the available color options under that product without having to click on it.
  5. Site URL: https://www.jenevoymakeupstudio.com/shop/make-up-for-ever-ultra-hd-self-setting-concealer Hi! I have a client who has a number of different products for sale with variants. She wants to be able to offer pre-order on variants that are out of stock. Has anyone come across a work around for this? Below is a link to a product as an example. https://www.jenevoymakeupstudio.com/shop/make-up-for-ever-ultra-hd-self-setting-concealer Needing to change the "Add to Cart" button on only the variants that are out of stock. I've create a pre-order work around on items without variants—see example here: https://www.jenevoymakeupstudio.com/shop/amika-perk-up-dry-shampoo But this solution doesn't work when variants are involved because it requires that I change the "Add to Cart" button for all variants. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
  6. Site URL: https://deer-crimson-ewjy.squarespace.com I am looking to re-design the dropdown of the variant selection in to something more similar to the attached .. at least showing as a horizontal selection instead of a dropdown...anyone done something similar of which they could share the code?
  7. Site URL: https://www.firesidefarm.com/mothersday2020 I'm trying to figure out why my Product Variants are appearing as both drop-downs and radio buttons in my product blocks. Is there a setting whereby I can choose for the variants to appear as drop-down only-- and get rid of the inactive radio buttons? Any help appreciated! Thank you!
  8. Site URL: https://www.chickswhoquilt.com Hi- I have a situation in commerce that I can't quite figure out. We are selling cloth masks that are mostly finished with the only remaining step be to add cloth ties or elastic straps. Is there a way to list a product and then have an option to add something at the end for an additional cost without listing multiple variants for the same thing? What we do right now is say that an item has an inventory of 10. We list it with 2 variants - with tie and with elastic with an inventory of 5 each. But we really have 10 that are neither and we add whichever option they pick at the end. But having to split it up as 2 variants causes issues with inventory for example when someone buys 5 with elastic and thinks there are no more left because it only shows 5 with ties. Is there a way to list an item and then have options? Like with Amazon where you can add gift wrapping for $5 or something. They don't have the same item that is unwrapped and the same item that is wrapped. They just add the wrapping as an option to the items that they have. Or Apple where you can pay extra for engraving. Thanks!
  9. Site URL: https://www.eatdishy.co.uk/recipes-main/roastedcauliflowerbiryani Hello, On my site the quantity box, as well as the variant drop down are very large. Is there a way they can be made smaller? Around half the size would be good? https://www.eatdishy.co.uk/recipes-main/roastedcauliflowerbiryani See example above. Any help or guidance would be great. Thanks in advance!
  10. Hello - im trying to use commerce to schedule restaurant delivery. Ive created products for the various food items, and another item for delivery, with variants for the available date / time slots. Is it possible to somehow require any submitted order contain one of the delivery products?
  11. Hi! Hope anyone can help me with to find a solution for my product package/price bundle .... tried many options but still they didn't solve my 'problem'. In my shop I want to sell carts and stationery. What I hope to achieve is that there is a way to make a dropdown menu for a quantity bundle which increase also the price. Example quantity starts with 25 pc > € 50, 50 pc> € 60, 75 pc> €70, etc etc. Squarespace counts only 1 product price ( example € 2,00 x 75 pc and multiply this to € 150,00 instead of my bundle price of € 70,00) Is there some way I can add a plugin or css code? Really hope someone can help me. In the attachments 2 examples of existing shop pages and the last is my shoppage. Hope this will clearify my issue. Best wishes Danielle Quote Edit
  12. Hello, I want to display the variant options for my products as photos (like the ones you can see on Amazon's listings), NOT text in a drop-down menu. The customer should be able to click on the photo of the variant they want, then add that to their cart. Is this possible?
  13. Site URL: https://fifty-fifth-test-site.squarespace.com/ I have created a home page that has a video playing in the background - I have then made my header transparent so that the video fills the entire page. The navigation and social logos changed to white when I did this, which is great as they are now visible over the dark video. However, I had to change my logo to be white so that it’s visible over the video as well. On my other pages that I am now beginning to create there is no video and the background is light - the navigation and social buttons go back to being darker (thumbs up) BUT I will have to change my logo back to being dark (thumbs down). Is there a way to have two versions of my logo and have it change in the same way that the navigation and social buttons do (white on dark background - black on light background)? Is this possible through custom CSS? I'm not much of a coder so would appreciate any guidance whatsoever! I have attached two screen grabs. One of the darker background (homepage with video) and the other with the lighter background (current about page with white logo where I want it to be dark). Thanks very much in advance!
  14. Site URL: https://www.cianfranicoffeeroasters.com/order-coffee/fulton-cycle-hw6sc New to SquareSpace so I'm a bit frustrated that I can't change the layout of the product block, or change the font of the variant drop down menus. If you look at a sample page (https://www.cianfranicoffeeroasters.com/order-coffee/fulton-cycle-hw6sc) you can see the variants stick out like a sore thumb. 1) How can I change the font to match the font on the template? 2) How can I change the layout of the variants so they are not displayed one below the other, like they are now, but in two columns?
  15. Site URL: http://www.scottmurry.com Hi friends, I'm exploring the idea of setting up a product on my page—but would like to make it a "Name Your Own Price" option. Patrons could in turn choose to pay $1 to $1,000 for a downloadable item. I see variable pricing options, but not something in which people can enter how much they'd like to pay. Any experience in setting up this format on squarespace? Thank you, Scott
  16. Site URL: https://www.beatdrop.ca/beat-drop-single-course Hi, How would I be able to create our service product form so that when someone chooses a certain class, that the corresponding date(s) will appear under our "Start Date" section? All of our class dates show up in our Start Date dropdown and it gets quite confusing. I've attached screenshots. i.e. If I choose DJ101 and I only want to see the dates we've set up for this class and not all dates for every class we have on the form.
  17. I have a product (a modular bed frame) that has a lot of options (size, wood, height, leg style, finish, etc.) which makes for a product that has hundreds of potential variants. It seems that Squarespace is quite limited in the way it handles inputing product variants/options. As in each and every possibility must be input manually and separately. Is there a plugin that helps with that? Or some technique that I am overlooking? Other platforms have much more highly developed variant engines. Is this functionality something that could be added to a squarespace back end by a developer?
  18. Site URL: https://www.churchandstate.co/products/ My client has products that are made in very limited quantity, so some items only have a single size. The problem is, they want to show the variant drop down even when they only have a single size/color available. How can this be implemented?
  19. Site URL: https://www.embraceyourspace.co.uk/ Hi there, My client has asked if I can adjust the height of the parallax banners at the top of each page of their website for mobile, as it currently fills about 80% of the mobile screen. I've tried a few simple bits of CSS code but have had no luck in targeting the height of the banner. (Image attached showing what I'm trying to achieve) I'm almost certain there's a simple solution but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated!
  20. Site URL: http://www.shapelyevents.com/shop Hello, please help! again. I am to switch my site from squarespace 7.0 to 7.1. In that I realize that I have to start from scratch. I'm starting with my store and i'm trying to get my inventory from one site to another using the csv sheet as recommended. I exported it from my current live squarespace store. I HAVE NOT EDITED IT. LEFT IT AS IS! When i try to import it on the new platform, 7.1, i'm getting an error message and nothing is changing. I would hat to have to manually add all these items. I dont understand why there's an error if I havent changed anything. Things to note: - I am still in my trial period. I haven't made the site live as yet being that I wanted to build it then launch it when I can swap it out with the current one. Is this a factor? because I'm also getting a pop up telling me that certain features are only available in a commerce plan but I would think I could be able to build out my store using the imported csv before I launch it. I've attached photos of my process and what I'm getting. Someone...anyone...please help.
  21. Hi! I just started exploring moving from WP/woocommerce to Squarespace. Feels promising so far 🙂 But I have a question! We have a couple of product that has multiple color variants. Adding them was easy, but I noticed that all variant Images also show up as thumbnails at the item page. Is there a way to hide variant Images from the item gällery? Example below all the Images except the last one is variants and I would like them hidden. (they should only appear as full size when you choose the color combo from the drop down.) Is this possible to do? Br Johan
  22. Hello, very simple. I need to sell a box at 30 USD containing 4 micro plants. I need the give customers the possibility to choose the variety and # of that variety of the selected plants they want in the box. So imagine, Customer A wants 2 onions and 2 carrots & Customer B wants 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 zucchini. How can I set up this? Beware, no more than 4 plants can be added by the customer, considering he is paying the total price for 4 plants. Thanks for helping! Gianluca
  23. I have a number of variants set up on in my products pages and rather than showing "unavailable" for variants that don't exist I would like to be able to use CSS code injection to change the text that reads "Unavailable" as product price when someone selects a combination that currently isn't offered. I'll likely change it to "Custom - Please Inquire" or something similar. We have standard products but will do custom products when asked. I found the div but don't know quite how to change it based on the used input: <div class="product-price">Unavailable</div> link to product: https://www.lockandmortice.com/residentialcollection/mara-table Thanks!
  24. Hey Guys, I have a juice company, and we are trying to create an advanced checkout option. Right now all of our packages will be a 3-day juice cleanse which includes 6 different bottles. You can either pick from our premade options (with our recipes), or there will be a customized option, where you can select between 30 different ingredients and make your own flavor. Is there anyway to make a drop down for each of the 6 bottles, but only have a custom checkbox section pop up if they select customized product in the dropdown menu? We only need the checkbox to appear when they want to do a custom, since all of our other flavors are already premade recipes. Or maybe someone has a better idea on how to achieve this? PLEASE if anyone can help that would be amazing.
  25. My site- motocrane.com is generally comprised of dark banners with white Body Text. However, the product variant drop-downs have a white background, so the white body text is not readable. How do I change my product variant text to black without affecting the rest of the site style?
