  1. How am I able to setup my Squarespace store to my Facebook catalogue that will include all my variant sizes, materials and prices for each product? So far I have gone through with setting up the data feeds with my store but it's only displaying a single price per product without the variants.
  2. Site URL: https://www.virginsuncare.com/shop Hello! I am looking to create an auto-replenish check box that opens into 3 different buttons (variants for the product). Here is an example of what I am trying to accomplish https://www.furtunaskin.com/collections/cuore/products/due-alberi-biphase-moisturizing-oil?variant=32361045852195 Let me know if you have any coding tricks to make this happen! I appreciate it! Thanks 🙂
  3. I just need some advice about a site I am working on that sells seafood to the public... They sell prepackaged seafood as well as 'loose'. The prepackaged seafood has a variant but is there an option to add a variant for weight of a product - where the customer types in the amount they want to purchase? 1kg or 200gms for instance?
  4. Hi there, I am wanted to make the product variants sit side-by-side in the product description. At the moment I am only able to have them on top of each other. I am unsure if I am missing this option built into Squarespace 7.1 or will require custom css to do so.
  5. Site URL: https://kblessdbutters.com Hello Everyone, I had my store set up the way I needed it but accidently deleted my store. I entered everything in but now I'm having issues. I sell Body Butters with 36 different fragrances. I also sell Sugar Scrubs with 29 different fragrances. I also sell them as sets (body butter/scrub set) with 29 variants. For the sets, I had 2 drop down menus with each fragrance under each product. So for example, for the sets, they would choose fragrance for butter and then the next drop down they would choose for scrub. I entered each fragrance twice (for the scrub and butter) but now, it's not allowing that. Please help. I also started selling a sample set of 5 butters with 36 fragrances for each jar but it's not allowing that (I would need 5 drop down menus). My store has been down all week because I have been trying to figure it out. Please help. My store has been down for over a week now. My site is Kblessdbutters.com but my Shop isn't visible right now. I attached two screenshots for you to view as well.
  6. Hey Guys, I have a juice company, and we are trying to create an advanced checkout option. Right now all of our packages will be a 3-day juice cleanse which includes 6 different bottles. You can either pick from our premade options (with our recipes), or there will be a customized option, where you can select between 30 different ingredients and make your own flavor. Is there anyway to make a drop down for each of the 6 bottles, but only have a custom checkbox section pop up if they select customized product in the dropdown menu? We only need the checkbox to appear when they want to do a custom, since all of our other flavors are already premade recipes. Or maybe someone has a better idea on how to achieve this? PLEASE if anyone can help that would be amazing.
  7. Site URL: https://salmonsamurai.com I've tried to provide my customers with the ability to customize their orders as much as possible, but it'd be great if they could directly customize their orders on the product page itself. With Squarespace's default variant features, it's impossible as this creates 100s of variant combinations which just crashes the page entirely. Is there a code to provide multiple product variations with its respective pricing attached? E.g. Product X + Variant A + Variant B = $5 Product X + Variant B + Variant C = $7
  8. Site URL: https://apricot-lychee-95wk.squarespace.com/ Site: https://apricot-lychee-95wk.squarespace.com/ Password protected: NewSite2021 I'm designing this site for a printer who sells apparel to teams... I have various variants for sizes, but need to add another variant with price adjustment to add the option of name and number to the back of the jerseys, which would increase the cost. Is there a way to add the variant in a column, or must I list out in rows each possible variant? Listing in rows seems insane to ask a buyer to scroll down each size and yes/no to name and number on the back. Meaning: select your jersey size with a drop down, print your name with a drop down and price adjustment, print your number with a drop down and price adjustment. HELP!
  9. Site URL: https://www.grandcitiespickleball.com Is there a way to make a product form affect the pricing? I manage this site for a local sports club, their tournament registration allows the customer to sign up for more combinations than the product variants allow. Ideally I would like to have a checkbox for each event that the customer wants and whether or not they're paying for their partner. All events are the same cost per person, so each checkbox would increase the cost by the same amount. I've messed around with coding this functionality but I'm not sure how to make custom code affect a price on squarespace or output the data to a form that the admins can reference. If anyone is interested I can send the custom code for them to review. Thanks, Killian.
  10. Site URL: https://dory-turtle-82s8.squarespace.com/shop/p/the-elinore-dress Hi, I'd like to adapt the drop down menu for the size of my products, but really can't seem to get the coding right. Can anyone help? Is it possible to change the font, colour of font and background colour at all? Password is franceseb92 Thanks,
  11. Site URL: https://urbanripples.com/ Hello, Any suggestions on how i can create product variants so that the rule "if this, then that" is delivered. For example, If a customer selects the colour from the first variant field, then that only specific sizes are then displayed for them to select the next option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers! Tim
  12. Site URL: https://www.mandarintree.nl/store-1 Hi, I'm selling online lessons to customers around the world. I'm currently listing variants in UTC time, but this has caused confusion with some customers. I would like the time slot (the variant category) to display the client side timezone (see https://www.mandarintree.nl/store-1/p/g8unmo5nrqqe2bg7uc6nau94y6pkvg-w97bk) instead of UTC I know some basic javascript - and I'm aware how to add that inside a code block in squarespace to get the client timezone: e.g., <script type="text/javascript"> var timezone = encodeURIComponent(jstz.determine().name()); </script> What I'm not sure how to do (or if it's possible) is to modify the string of the variant name to update the time (i.e., edit variant-select-wrapper). Is this possible, are there any similar examples I could work from?
  13. I am doing a website for a local pony club, and at their events there are members & non-members. The members can book classes for £7, the non-members £10. I've sorted this with variants per class, but what I really need is a way to limited total orders to 12 for each class, and not have to give the variants a limit as we have no idea what the ratio of members to non-members will be. This is only a problem at the moment due to having to strictly limit numbers due to Covid. Does anyone know a work-around?
  14. Site URL: https://www.flabelus.com/kid/p/meg-kids Hello everyone! Im trying to allow the customer to add some customization for their products, as it appears here: Basically, what i need is that IF one of the options with additional price is selected that the customer can add some letters in a text field (or custom form) but if no addon ($0) is selected that doesnt appear. You can see an example of how its done now: Example for custom add-ons with custom form The problem is that if the customer selects: "Sin iniciales (+$0)" , the custom form still appears. The BEST way would be having it exactly as in here We dont mind paying for a plugin like this or a personalized solution to implement it. Will be great also that we dont have to add all the variants to all products and sizes (this is how it has to be done actually from squarespace. All options will be the same for ALL products. Any help or potential solution? Thank you very much in advance!
  15. My site sells items which I manufacture after ordering. I manufacture the items from different suppliers in different countries. eg If the item is to be shipped to Australia, then I have an Australian Manufacturer. If shipped to Hong Kong, I have a Hong Kong manufacturer. Some manufacturers can't supply certain variants. Is it possible to make some variants unavailable to certain shipping countries? For example if the person has chosen a certain size and then comes to checkout, can it say the item is not available?
  16. Site URL: https://www.mbfpetshop.com Hey all, working on a ecommerce site and getting everything setup for launch. We sell handmade arts/crafts and pet bandanas. I am editing all of the product pages adding variants with sizes and quantity. However, the problem I am having is adding customization option at a higher price to the bandanas past just the normal select your size dropdown. I found a way to add a Custom Form that pops up when a customer adds a bandana to their cart and from there they can choose their pets name, font style, font color and if they want it added--but I cant seem to find a way to have it automatically adjust the price of the bandana if somebody opts for the customization embroidery. The product in the cart still just says the original price. I guess its two questions: 1) Is there anyway to have the price of the product adjusted if somebody does fill out the custom form after a item is added to their cart? For example a normal blank bandana is $12 but if they want to personalize it with their pets name I would like the cart to update to $15 after they enter the information from the custom form. or 2) Is there a way to have a custom form pop up only if a customer selects "Yes" under a dropdown on the product page. Can you tie custom forms based on a dropdown selection? Because right now the custom form for embrodery pops up on every item you add to the cart. Thanks!!
  17. I am trying to set up a store for chocolate company which sells 4 different flavors of candy. They would like the 8-pack boxes of chocolate to have a customizable option where they can hand choose all 8 individual pieces for the box. Is there a way to create this level of variation in Sqaure Space, or does anyone know of a plugin that could achieve the desired result?
  18. Site URL: https://www.nwcphotos.com/shop Hello, I am struggling with customizing the dropdowns on my product variants through css. I can't stand how ugly they are especially on a Windows based system. I have added a bit of code to change the font family and size, but I want to make some changes to the actual box around the options as well. Ideally I would like to do something like remove the box all together for a cleaner look, so something with transparency maybe? No shadow, no background color, and no blue bar when you hover over the options. My ideal look would be a sans-serif font in a grey color with like I said no visible box around it, and if possible instead of the blue bar when you hover over an option it just darkens to more of a black color. Is this at all possible? Thanks! Site PW is: lock
  19. Site URL: https://www.nwcphotos.com/shop/fireworks Hello, I am finishing up my shop page on my site but have run into sort of a weird customization quirk. On PC, the variant dropdown menu on my products looks really bad, like default Windows appearance. Is there no way to style these? I was wondering if there is an alternative to the dropdown, and rather display all the options almost like they're greyed out and the user has to click and select which would turn that selection dark before adding to cart. I will attach a mockup of what I mean and how I would ideally like the variants to look. If anyone has some code for suggestions to achieve this look it would be very helpful, thank you!
  20. I am trying to find a way to add small circles under my products that are filled with a certain color. I want customers to quickly be able to see a product, and the available color options under that product without having to click on it.
  21. Site URL: https://www.jets-pottery.co.uk/shop Hiya I have set up my shop with the majority of items being in stock and available to purchase. The variant option is great for those products where people can choose to pre-order something for me to custom make. The issue I'm having is if I've got 1 stock item, for example a wax burner, and I then want to give the customer the option to upgrade it to a gift box, or add a wrapping option. If I go down the variant route, which allows different pricing, it looks like i have 2 burners in stock, which I don't! So how do you put in an 'upgrade' option. So 1 stock item but with extras, can be done at checkout or within the listing, I'm not bothered 🙂 I also find the layout a bit messy so is there code to ensure that only the number of items in stock is actually shown? at the moment the default is to show lots of items but then not allow you to order more than the xx in stock. It would be better to only have the number available show in the drop down menu thank you Jane
  22. Hi, I am helping a friend who with a site who makes custom jewellery, Im having abit of a issue with setting up the stock for this. I currently Have both 'Size' and the 'Colour' set up which is fine in principle however in the example of rings. If I have a 1 size k ring in stock but the stone colour can be changed to 20 variants squarespace would in theory allow 20 rings in different colours to be sold. IE: Size K - ReD, Size K - Blue etc. would would create a stock problem and items would be sold that simply werent able to be fulfilled, as only one size k ring would be in stock. Can anyone help with this?
  23. I am in the process of importing my products using the upload template CSV. Many of my products have multiple variants. According the the documentation, "you only need to enter the Products Page URL for the first variant." When I leave the "Product Page" column empty for variants, however, I receive an error for each after import reading: Product page not found Make sure the URL corresponds to an existing product page When I try filling in the "Product Page" column for each of the variants (I am using "shop"), the system interprets each row as its own unique product, and I have a bunch of unnamed products rather than variants. As far as I can tell after many reviews, there are no other errors within my CSV.
  24. Site URL: https://www.cubbishlykes.co.uk/shop/p/7uzu0fxgb0vgkef2pa8h7svminxu7q Hi, I'm having some issues with the options for my variants. They show up twice, one on top of the other. I have no idea why this is, any boby know?
  25. Site URL: https://www.forest-flowers.com/orderflowers/bud-vases Hello, I'm looking to add multiple variants on the products that I sell on my site. But it doesn't seem possible to do it where it will also affect the total cost. For example, on this page: https://www.forest-flowers.com/orderflowers/bud-vases I'd like the variants to be: Color (with three color options listed in the dropdown) Flowers/No Flowers (with one option being Flowers, the other No Flowers) Delivery/Pick-Up (with multiple options for Delivery with varying fees, the other Pick-up) The "Flowers/No Flower" dropdown will affect the total price as well as the "Delivery/Pick up" option they choose Is this possible? I hope the way I'm describing it makes sense! I appreciate any help! Thank you, Marisa
