  1. Site URL: https://www.scenenyc.co Hi there, Trying to figure out way to expand my featured post summary block into full bleed, so that the featured photos take up the full space in the content box. Is there any way to do this? Thanks!
  2. Hi, I added a summary block to show some of the featured Events I added to the site, and I would like to make the date look bigger. I tried to do it in Design / Fonts / Settings / Meta, and also Paragraphs, but it won't work. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance, and have a wonderful rest of your day!
  3. Site URL: https://www.birminghamearlyyearsnetworks.org/ Hey all, I'm working on our site and noticed that the H2 format used in our blog post is pulling across to the summary blog block on the homepage; is there a way of removing this without changing the blog post itself? I've included a pic for reference!
  4. Site URL: https://www.viperequitypartners.com/ Hello, I added custom CSS to center the contents of the Summary Block (in Grid view) and it's off-center. Any ideas what's going wrong? See screenshot and code below. Thank you! //center summary block, unlink from bios// .sqs-gallery-design-autogrid .summary-item-list { display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; justify-content: center; pointer-events: none; }
  5. Site URL: https://www.lifeisourhoneymoon.com/ Hi everyone, I am using the Rally template, and I would like to use a banner image on my blog posts instead of having a title at the top of the page, but if I remove the title, it disappears from the summary blocks on my homepage. Is there a way to remove the blog titles without losing the summary block titles? Thanks in advance!
  6. Site URL: http://www.wearehkers.com Hello, (This issue is on my template preview site that's not live yet, so I'm not sure what hyperlink I should be sharing, let me know how to share this particular page in the particular template preview) I'm trying to make the thumbnails of the summary blocks take up 50% of the screen space on mobile screen. I've set it to 50% on site styles so it is 50% on desktop and tablet, but on mobile, some reason it's been overridden to 35% (see bottom right in the "inspect element" section... I've even tried to code it in to the css but it's not changing. I've included the code I used below. I'm not sure why it's being overriden because the style attribute in the styles window says 50% but has it crossed out... I've tried coding the summary block text to 50% too but the same happens, it's overridden to 65% even when I've coded it to 50%... Please can someone help, maybe my code is wrong... Code I used: @media screen and (max-width:700px) { .summary-thumbnail .img-wrapper { overflow: visible !Important; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-thumbail-outer-container { width: 50% !Important; height: auto !Important; } .sqs-gallery-meta-container { width: 50% !Important; } }
  7. Site URL: https://harp-chihuahua-m5cc.squarespace.com/companies The summary block thumbnail on my "Companies" page by default links to each respective "blog post" associated with the thumbnail. I would like to be able to link to a different external page for each thumbnail and open that page in a new window. My client would also like to have a hover state on the thumbnail that we can put a few lines of text and perhaps even the link on. Since I'm using summaries elsewhere, I only want this functionality to apply to the "Companies" page. Would appreciate any help. Thanks! Pass: Madrona2020
  8. Site URL: https://snorkelcookislands.com Hey guys, I'm wanting to to have 1 testimonial per row on mobile. This is what I have so far, but it's stretched to 100% and I would like to limit how many posts show in column to only one. Help is appreciated, thank you!
  9. Site URL: https://cowanandsons.squarespace.com Hi everyone! Is it possible to display the limited availability product labels above the title and tags on a summary block? Or, even better, can we make them into labels that overlay the image (just like Sold Out stickers)? Thanks in advance for any input! Password: raeburn
  10. I have a bit of code that applies color to tags in my summary blocks .summary-metadata-item--tags a{ color:#3b5ed8!important; background:#ced7f5!important; padding: 2px 4px 2px 4px; border-radius:4px; } Is there a way I can make this color formatting conditional based on the tag name?
  11. I'm working on my company's Products page and am trying to "hack" the summary block. Simplified example: we sell red and blue hats. Our best-selling styles are baseball hats, fedoras, and cowboy hats. I currently have five tags; two for the colors, and three for the styles. But when I tell the summary block I want red fedoras to display, it works like an "OR" operator; that is, it displays all red hats, not just the red fedoras, and all colors of fedoras, not just red. I don't want to make a tag for each combination, because instead of 20, my real tag list will grow to about 200. Is there a way to modify this behavior?
  12. Site URL: http://www.beautybyjessika.com URL: beautybyjessika.com | NO PASSWORD Hello! Is there a way to to change the # of thumbnails that display in a summary block on desktop? Right now it's displaying 4 items per row, but I want it to display 3 items per row. Thank you!

  14. Site URL: https://www.curio-ap.com/ Hi, any ideas how to get the image header, text block and summary blocks to be all in the same width? any suggestions are appreciated.
  15. I want to change the font-size from the title on summary block .summary-title .summary-title-link { } Can I just simply set it to H2 or H3 on my site that has already set? thanks
  16. Site URL: https://sprout-tuna-swnf.squarespace.com/ I have a blog summary block on my homepage that is split 50/50 with the text on the left and image on the right. When viewed on a tablet/mobile, I want the images to appear above the text, so they take up the full width of the screen. I've managed to get the text to fill the width of the block, but I can't work out how to do the same for the image. Here's what I've got so far: @media screen and (max-width:1200px) { .summary-content.sqs-gallery-meta-container { width: 100%!important; } } Please help!
  17. Site URL: https://www.thaidesignuk.com/ Hi We are trying to change the summary block title colour which is set to hsl(47, 42%, 44%) in the site styles and also in the CSS which has been used to disable the links. Anyone have ideas on this? CSS used: .sqs-block-summary-v2 { .summary-title, .summary-heading { font-family: alice; font-weight: 600; font-size: 18px !important; color: #C8B56F ; text-transform: uppercase; font-style: regular; } } We also would like to make the summary block show up 2 per row on mobile as the icons are too big on mobile but there doesn't seem to be a setting for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  18. Site URL: https://www.charissekenion.co/index Hiya, I'm working on the below site and I wondered if anyone knows why the blog post title size varies on the below index page. Is there a way to make them all uniform? https://www.charissekenion.co/index Thanks Sophie
  19. I may be missing an easy fix, but I am looking to center a summary grid block so that when it adapts to larger screens, it doesn't leave awkward spacing on the right side. Any suggestions on code I can put in to simply center-align the block?
  20. Hi everyone, I'm curious to know if somebody has any coding ideas to achieve a similar look as the attached? Ignoring the background colour, I guess I'm seeing if it's possible to make it so the thumbnail images align (I typically use differing image ratios and don't plan on changing this) in height, and then the metadata and heading aligns. Thanks
  21. Site URL: https://megalodon-jellyfish-ahzy.squarespace.com/ I have added in code already for the summary block so that the title displays on hover. The code has important tags for font size, which was placed to override the squarespace fonts. The size is fine on every site-width except for mobile. Is there a way that I can just change the mobile font size for summary block titles? Here is the code I've already put in: /*the following code mimics the portfolio flatiron template with fade in rollover text*/ /* increase image transparency on hover */ img.summary-thumbnail-image.loaded:hover { opacity: 0.4; } /* display title on hover*/ .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item .summary-title a{ background-color: transparent; opacity: 0; color: #fff; position: absolute; left: 0; right: 0; top: 45%; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item:hover .summary-title a{ background-color: transparent; opacity: 4; color: #FFF; position: absolute; left: 0; right: 0; top: 45%; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } /*style title font hover for summary wall block*/ .sqs-block-summary-v2 { .summary-title, .summary-heading { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'!important; font-weight: 400 !important; font-size: 30px !important; color: #FFF; } } /*eliminates white space between thumbnails*/ .summary-thumbnail-container, .summary-title { margin-bottom: 0 !important; } .summary-item {background-color: #000000;} @font-face { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e8f3ac78b89c5205e278f15/t/5e96dd80faeb9808759ae30c/1586945408521/FoundersGrotesk-Light.otf'); } h {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} h1 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} h2 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} h3 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} h4 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} p {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} p2 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} p3 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} p4 {font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK';} .blog-item-title h1.entry-title { font-family: FOUNDERSGROTESK !important; } .header-nav .header-nav-item a { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; } .header-nav-folder-content .header-nav-folder-item a { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; } .header-menu-nav-item a { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; } .item-pagination h2.item-pagination-title { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; } .sqs-block-button-element { font-family: 'FOUNDERSGROTESK'; font-size: 20px !important; font-weight: 500 !important; height: 20px !important; } @media screen and (max-width:640px) { nav.header-menu-nav-list { background: black; } }
  22. Site URL: http://booksquadgoals.com/blog I'm trying to create a "home" page for my blog consisting of summary blocks that will display content from different tags. I know how to use the tag filter to display content from certain tags, but I was wondering if there's any way to EXCLUDE a tag from a block. The reason I'm trying to do this is because my blog has a ton of posts about television, and a hefty number of those posts are recaps. Because we weren't planning ahead, all of the posts related to television are tagged 'television,' and then recaps have the additional tag 'recaps.' I'd like to have a summary block that displays posts about television that AREN'T recaps, but right now the only thing I can think to do is go through all of the old posts and add another new tag to them like 'not-recaps' (and there are a lot of old posts). Would be much easier if I could simply create a block to display 'television' tag but exclude 'recaps' tag. Anyone have a workaround for this?
  23. Site URL: https://sturgeon-tangerine-zyeb.squarespace.com/ Hi, I already have my CSS set up to display the Summary Block item title and description on rollover, but I'm now looking to add to that functionality. Is there any way to have the actual thumbnail image change on hover? I want to be able to not only display text on rollover, but replace the image as well. Site password is scdp2020
