  1. Hi guys, I need to build a job board on my squarespace site which advertises jobs from external sites. It's basically a list of links which should be filterable by pre-defined tags and categories. I would like to display it in a similar style like the blog post summaries. Main requirements: - Option to add individual categories and tags - Redirect to an external page link when people click on the ad - Option to filter the job ads - No item limit -> I tried using the squarespace blog and the universal filter to build a workaround but it has a 30 i
  2. Site URL: https://www.zacalleninteriors.com Hello, I keep editing the container width of my "carousel summary block" on the home page and it's fine for a few hours and then when I check back it's all disproportionate again. Can anyone help me to fix this? Or at least explain why this is happening. Thank you in advance!!
  3. Site URL: https://www.ghoulsmagazine.com/editorials Hello, I'd like to view two articles per row on mobile fort the first summary block section https://www.ghoulsmagazine.com/editorials I have added this custom CSS at the moment but it doesn't work. @media screen and (max-width:767px) { div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1610091206951_189.summary-item-list { display: grid; grid-template-columns: repeat(2,minmax(0,1fr)); grid-column-gap: 10px; grid-row-gap: 10px; } } Could somebody please review this for me? Thank you s
  4. Site URL: https://megalodon-disc-4683.squarespace.com/ Hey there! I'm building a site with about 100 products, but as they are not for sale (on the site) I create a blog post for each. (more freedom) On the main page I created a block-summary that contains services and a link to these products. This as an intro. Now I'm looking for advice whether it's recommended to create a summary-block (with filtered products) inside the blog-post (linked from the main page) or not. Decided from a SEO perspective. Alternative would be to link from the initial summary-block on the main page
  5. I have a couple of summary blocks set up to scroll through "Laurels" and "Testimonials" on my website, however, the default white coloured next and previous carousel arrows can't be seen for the Laurel summary block since the section background is also white. I ended up using a chrome plugin called the "block identifier" to give each summary block its own unique code, allowing me to style the colour of the arrows for each specific summary block in the Custom CSS section. I managed to change the colour of the arrows so they are now visible, but the left arrow in the Testimonial summa
  6. Site URL: https://juliatausch.squarespace.com/config/ Update, now it worked! Maybe it was just being glitchy for a minute. Hi there, I'm trying to add a carousel summary block to my home page and have it populate with my blog posts, but I can't seem to select my blog page when I click on "select page" in the summary block editor. Any advice?? TY!
  7. Site URL: https://www.ghoulsmagazine.com Site URL: https://www.ghoulsmagazine.com Hello, My Website has a Members Area. I'd like to include in the Members Home Page a Summary Block showcasing all the latest articles included in a Blog page that is for Members Only (see below) - "Members Blog" is a blog page only accessible to registered members. However, When I try to add a Summary Block to the Members Home Page, the only Blogs I can choose from are those either open to everybody or hidden. The Blog page Members Blog that "lives" under my Members Area does not show
  8. Site URL: https://jadeanthony.com/the-regulars/#index Currently, under the "2021 READING CAST" tab on my website, I'm using a Grid Summary Block to display headshots of Cast Members in the musical I'm producing. But I'd love to now add links to the photos, forwarding them to websites or biographies related to these performers. When I add Clickthrough URLs in the entries of the Gallery page where the Summary lock originates from, it doesn't translate to the page where the Block is displayed. Can anyone help?
  9. Site URL: http://afexan.com/afexan-cosmetics Is there a way to embed code into each image gallery description? I am wanting to add 'Add to cart' buttons in each gallery item. The reason I am not using Squarespaces' product block/summary is that the checkout will be through Ecwid, not Squarespace as the products will be an alternate currency than the default USD. I have the code (will different for each product). Ideally the it will look as if it was a product summary from Squarespace, with the title, description, then add to cart button below. <div class="ecsp ecsp-SingleP
  10. Site URL: https://www.viperequitypartners.com/ Hello, I added custom CSS to center the contents of the Summary Block (in Grid view) and it's off-center. Any ideas what's going wrong? See screenshot and code below. Thank you! //center summary block, unlink from bios// .sqs-gallery-design-autogrid .summary-item-list { display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; justify-content: center; pointer-events: none; }
  11. I have successfully uploaded Avenir as the font to be used on my website and have changed h1, h2, h3 and h4 to this font. However, I can't figure out the code to change the font of blog post titles, buttons and blog post titles in the summary blocks. I am using the template Merida. My site URL (for now) is https://goose-alpaca-n3cy.squarespace.com/ Thank you! 🙂
  12. Site URL: https://jadeanthony.com/the-regulars/#index Howdy folks! I really need some help targeting a specific Grid Summary Block that I want to add a 2px border to. Right now, I'm using the following code: <style> .summary-thumbnail{ border: 2px solid #A43D5F; border-radius: 50%; </style> But I really only want to add the border, now seen on all round images on the page, specifically to the grid block under the "2021 READING CAST" tab. Can anyone help? The page link is: https://jadeanthony.com/the-regulars/#index
  13. Site URL: https://harp-chihuahua-m5cc.squarespace.com/companies The summary block thumbnail on my "Companies" page by default links to each respective "blog post" associated with the thumbnail. I would like to be able to link to a different external page for each thumbnail and open that page in a new window. My client would also like to have a hover state on the thumbnail that we can put a few lines of text and perhaps even the link on. Since I'm using summaries elsewhere, I only want this functionality to apply to the "Companies" page. Would appreciate any help. Thanks! Pass: Madrona20
  14. Hi there, I built a custom shop page using summary blocks and you can see it right here. I'm looking for a way to apply a filter (black and white) the product image when it has the "Out of Stock" label, in my website it says "Esaurito". Any idea? Remember these are summary blocks, not product page... if it makes any difference. Thanks to everyone!
  15. I am looking for a way to force summary blocks to display 3 thumbnails per row along with their excerpt for mobile screens. Does someone know how to accomplish this? I have the summary block on the page below: https://www.dothingsnyc.com/journal Thanks, Josh
  16. Hey! I'm about to start working on a site where I want to creatively use the list summary block. Instead of the title, excerpt, and metadata being stacked on top of one another, I wanted to see if it would be possible to get these on the same line horizontally. I tried messing with top and left margins for .summary-content, .summary-excerpt, etc. and it was really sloppy and obviously didn't work for different screen sizes. I've attached an image that gives an idea of what I'm trying to do. Thank you in advance if anyone can help me figure this out!
  17. Site URL: https://www.siderealhaus.com/ Does anyone know of a snippet that can increase the item limit in a summary block in Brine? Right now it taps out at 30 and my client needs to feature 35. I currently have two summaries stacked on top of each other to approximate the look and feel, but this doesn't work once you start scrolling in lightbox...
  18. I have this Pagination code below in the footer code injection, along with some javascript (not shown), that gives me pagination on blog pages. Is there a way to get this to work for Summary blocks that list those blog posts? https://active-redesign-1.squarespace.com/watch/ <script> window.paginationPluginConfig = { containers: { '.blog-list,.BlogList, .view-list .page-section[class*="collection-type-blog-"] div[data-controller]': { // classnames of containers where we want to have a pagination place: 'append', //or use prepend to place b
  19. Site URL: https://vibraphone-dove-dpfn.squarespace.com/ Hi everyone, I'm sooo close to finishing my site! I'm blown away by the level of help to be found in this forum. Thanks all! I'd like to show the day of the week for my events (pulling from an Events page into a summary block, seen here: https://vibraphone-dove-dpfn.squarespace.com/calendar. It seems tight to squeeze it into the date block on the thumbnail, but perhaps it could be displayed as metadata somehow? Thanks! Password to my site is He@1ing. Kacia
  20. Site URL: https://reindeer-coral-hlxm.squarespace.com/cookies-delivered Hi, I want to limit the summary block to show 3 items per row on wider screens. I have tried adding: @media screen and (min-width:1875px) { .sqs-gallery-design-autogrid-slide { width: 29% !important; clear:right !important; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;} } But the spacing goes really weird - see screenshot. I'd also like them to be central below the image. Thank you! https://reindeer-coral-hlxm.squarespace.com/cookies-delivered SITE PASSWORD: hell
  21. Hello Everyone, I am trying to solve for a particular issue. I am using summary blocks for a client who will serve content from their blog and shop to specific pages on their website by use of the tag filter. I am wanting to ensure the design of the site continues to feel responsive and tight so I am looking for a way to hide the page section containing the summary block if there is no content being called by the tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best, Patrick
  22. Site URL: https://mcad-grad-exhibit.squarespace.com Hello, I have created a website with multiple individual pages that are each using a summary block to pull in graduates by category (this website is for a college graduation exhibit). Each graduates category is their major and the season they graduated. I would like to use the individual pages as the category pages because currently the link .../[blog name]/category/[category name] is uncontrollable visually. I want to use the individual pages so that for each major it says the major at the top of the page. Also the summary block I'm
  23. Site URL: https://cowanandsons.squarespace.com Hi everyone! Is it possible to display the limited availability product labels above the title and tags on a summary block? Or, even better, can we make them into labels that overlay the image (just like Sold Out stickers)? Thanks in advance for any input! Password: raeburn
  24. Hi all, On previous websites we could use the Summary Block to show only blog posts tagged or categorized with a certain topic on a page. It seems like this functionality has been removed in SquareSpace 7.1? (why would they do this??) What I want to do: We have individual web pages for each of our company's programs. We would like to show the three most recent blog posts that are tagged (or have the "category") for that program on the program page. So each of our 3-4 program pages would have a section of the page with a blog 'feed' showing the 3 most recent blog posts for that sp
  25. Site URL: https://www.inspirewellnessandnutrition.com/blog-recipes Hey guys! The summary block settings allow you to display maximum 30 items. Is there a way to show all blog posts? *This template [Version 7.0– Montauk family (Om template)] is very restricted with the features so I had to create a separate page with a summary block in order to get the design wanted with thumbnail images (otherwise the blog is a long scrolling page with full blogposts ...) (This is a business plan) Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
