  1. Hello, I am doing a Price Table with Image Blocks on my website. I would like to emphasize the difference in the price tables by highlighting in bold the new items offered in the more expensive price table. The problem is selecting bold for the subtitle text doesn't make it stand out enough from the regular subtitle text color. What would be the CSS code injection to change the subtitle bold text color for the subtitles?
  2. Hey—Wondering if anyone knows a way to format blog titles on the Tudor template (Skye family). I'd like to be able to italicize just a part of titles when needed, and if possible add line breaks as well. So that something like "Title: Subtitle" could become: Title Subtitle If it helps, the site is willfenstermaker.com/writing Thanks!
  3. Hi there, I have set my image border radius to 4px !important, however it is not working on some image corners and some images at all in my gallery grid block. The code I have used its: .sqs-gallery-block-grid img { border-radius:5px !important; } Any suggestions on how to fix this are most welcome! Thanks, Sam
  4. Hi. I'm currently trying to build a webstore, but I'm struggling with the design on each induvidual product page. I want to have a banner photo just like the main product page, but for each induvidual products. How can I do this? For example like this: http://noracollective.no/shop/nora-x-fanta-yellow-hoodie Thanks!
  5. Hello community, I have created some code to reflect a score on my website. I have limited knowledge about coding and have just thought myself it using google. I have attached a photo of what the following code looks like. <div class="star-ratings-sprite"><span style="width:90%" class="star-ratings-sprite-rating"></span></div> <div class="text-allign-css"> <p style = "font-family:georgia,garamond,serif;font-size:16px;font-style:italic;">Cigar Bible Score</p> </div> I want to now create a red frame around this code and also for the percentage as entered into the code to be shown on the right hand side. Can somebody please help me or guide me in the right direction. Many thanks, Max
  6. I'm trying to reduce my individual portfolio project pages to a few main images and the rest of the page that may contain additional text, galleries or images, to essentially hide unless prompted by the viewer. call it an accordion or a spoiler function or collapse, not best with terminology. I started by looking at this thread, which has a simple and elegant approach for text only.http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/72321/how-do-i-create-hideshow-faqs-in-squarespace-collapsed-text This is great for those circumstances, but I need it to include galleries and images or the like. Does anyone know how this can be done or a variant of it that may also work?
  7. Something I would like to modify in the York template is to have it so that the Index Layout displays consistently between Desktop and Mobile. Currently you can only choose between s/m/l/xl for Item Height in Index Layout section under Site Styles menu, resulting in either having the IL display properly in Desktop and cropped in Mobile, or vice versa. How might I go about writing a CSS code mod telling the Index Layout to be Xlarge in desktop, and small in Mobile? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank-you kindly -

    How to Center a Block

Anytime I add a block to a page, it defaults to a flush left position. For example, if I want to have the Search Block appear right in the middle of a page, I need to add a Space Block to the left of it and stretch it out to the right until the Search Block becomes visually centered to my eye. Same with an image. If inserting an Image Block, I would need to add a Space Block on both the left and right of it in order to force it to center. Are adding all of these spacer blocks the only way to force things to center? What about the Search Block where the Space Block is only on the left of it (to push it further right). Seems like there should be a more precise and elegant way to get this to be centered. All of these Space Blocks also effect the mobile version's layout.
  9. Hello, I'm desperately trying to get my site logo colour to invert on my homepage. It needs to be black everywhere else except my homepage where I want it to be white. I've found an old thread that has a very similar query to this but the custom CSS code that was suggested didn't work for me. Any ideas?
  10. I am using the Five template (www.t1df.org). I have a business plan. It is my understanding that, with a business plan, I can't style the checkout page nor change the color of the cart button. But I should be able to style the cart and order confirmation pages (i.e. add a banner image and text, select a layout, etc.). The store cart and order confirmation pages use the styling of the default/unlinked system 404 error page. By creating a custom unlinked 404 page, it should be possible to style the cart and order confirmation pages. See: [Five template] "display content from their default 404 pages on order confirmation pages, shopping carts, and searches..." https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815328-Styling-your-checkout-page I followed Squarespace directions and I created as custom 404 error page: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205814478-Creating-a-custom-404-error-page. But my site does not use the design elements of the custom 404 error page I created. Am I missing something here? Any suggestion?
  11. Hi There, I am trying to change the inline link color for text blocks using the heading 2 site-wide designation. For some reason the links underline but the color wont change. Is there a way to change just one color in a "heading" designation? More specifically, a way to specify inline link colors differently like in body text? I've attached an image for reference. As you can see the inline "body" links are red but the two "heading" links in the middle are black. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
  12. Nolatreve Philippines I guess you could state you're getting a skin lightener to blur liver spots and a material that calms your skin securely and viably having said that. http://avengersdiet.com/nolatreve-ph/
  13. Hi all! I need help with my website: I'm correctly seeing a hover effect on gallery images, but it applies on all the gallery. How can I apply this CSS just on a specific gallery? I cannot deal with div o #block.. I don't know. This is the code that is applied to all my galleries: .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-thumbnail-outer-container { img { filter: grayscale(100%) !important; transition: filter 0.5s !important; } } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-thumbnail-outer-container { img:hover { filter: none !important; } } You can reach my website at enricocolacillo.squarespace.com using psw: chiladura. Thank you so much!Enrico
  14. I have had to put in a Markdown block and add in code to make two sections into white text & centered.(they are on two different pages) The rest of my website had a css code put in to justify all the text which I was fine with until I realized it affected my headings which I had to code in as mentioend above. How can I get my body text to remain justified but at the same time have my markdown block also respond to the css code to keep it centered... Markdown CSS used: < html> < head> < style> div.a { text-align: center; color: #ffffff style="color:#fff;font-family:ltc-bodoni-175;" font-size:3em } div.b { text-align: center; color: #ffffff style="color:#fff;font-family:nunito;" font-size:1em } Get in touch <p>Let's have a chat and see how we can best help you!</p> </ div> </ body> </ html> Custom CSS: p { text-align: justify !important; } url: https://love-petsphotography.squarespace.compw: LovePets#1
  15. Hello!I'm having a really difficult time styling the events page as nothing seems to be responding except the type of text. This is what I have and here is a link. My questions are: Can I style the "request a quote" button only? Why is the second name ("Devon") center-aligned, while the first is not? --see picture attached Can I have the thumbnails slightly smaller on mobile view? Targeting the "Request a Quote" form for in-line
  16. hello, i'm looking for the set, standard images sizes for the Colima theme. i want the images I upload to perfectly fit the existing/placeholder images within the design template. I can happily resize the images I've got outside Squarespace, I just need to find out the exact dimensions. I've been screenshotting the provided images and then cropping the ones i want to replace them with to fit the same size, but this feels like a clumsy way to do it! for example, i want to replace the mountain range images below with portraits of the team members - how do i find out the exact dimensions of the current images so i can keep the layout identical to how it is now? thanks!
  17. Hello, I'm creating a website using the Skye template.I know very little about coding, so I'd be very grateful for any help. I'd like the "Link Color" in the navigation bar to be a darker grey for the following items "About Us", "News & Press", "People" and "Work With Us". The Active Link Color should stay blue once clicked and once the mouse sits on it. Is it possible? In case it makes it easier to visualize, my website is https://hqwebsitestudy.squarespace.com/Password: 12345678 @Paul2009 you have helped me before, us there any chance you know a way to do this?Thank you in advance, Eliahu
  18. I have quite the peculiar problem... First of all I want to say that this is a very important issue for my client, If I can't find a way to do this it is not going to be good.. Its really a simple thing, but I don't know if square space will support it. They want the text of the banner of the homepage to have a special format and they want it aligned to the left. I've got that part figured out: // funky rules to make the banner text look right on the homepage #IDoftheHomepageBanner { .desc-wrapper { float: left; text-align: left; vertical-align: baseline; } .desc-wrapper p:nth-of-type(1) { font-size: 48px; text-transform: none; font-weight: bold; } .desc-wrapper p > strong { color: #004a88; font-size: 48px; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: normal; } .desc-wrapper p:nth-of-type(4), .desc-wrapper p:nth-of-type(5) { text-transform: none; color: #004c8a !important; letter-spacing: normal; } } However, this presents a problem that they really don't like... when the page is expanded the text stays all the way off to the left. The image that they have for the homepage banner has a person in the middle/right, they want the text to "not fly off into no man's land" way far out to the left, but to still stay to the left... Kind of hard to explain. Here is the website I am rebuilding, they want it to look just like this banner. As you can see, when you expand the page the text follows, until you hit a certain point. When you hit that point it stays stuck against the banner image, but not all the way to the left of the page. Almost as though there is an invisible vertical border the text is stuck to. Anything you can tell me sure would help. I thought maybe somehow if it's possible to have two columns in the banner you could then align the text to the right of the left column.. but even that would present problems. I'm really at quite the impasse. Thanks in advance.
  19. Hello, I haven't had success with any of the CSS I've found to create underlines for body text only on the Henson template. Any ideas? Thank you!
  20. I am trying to add my social icon block to my header above my main nav bar so it doesn't crowd the main menu. After wrangling with various code snippets from the forum, I have arrived at this (see attached). You can see that the icons are in black on a white background in a separate bar above my header. What I want to do is to have them float over the header, not push it down, and I want to style them to a lighter gray color. Can anyone help? To get this far, I used Header Code Injection with a code snippet I copied from my social icon block using F12 inspect tools. Thanks!
  21. Does anybody know how to custom style the search block box dropdown list in CSS? I would like to change: 1. font 2. background color 3. thumbnail size Thanks.
  22. Hi, i'd like to display the price of my subscription without the phrase "every month." so it will just display $30 not "$30 every month"is there a way to do that?
  23. In order to use Font Awesome and some embded forms/widgets, I placed most of my content in custom code blocks on my Contact page. For some reason, links in custom code blocks don't inherit link styling (which is something I noticed a lot of other users saying, and something Squarespace should really look into) so I was forced to apply even more custom code to correct this. All is well except for the first link ... It's bold and shouldn't be. My custom CSS class calls for the font style to be normal. The other links using this class are displaying just fine, so it's making me a little crazy that this lone link isn't responding to instructions, lol. Here's the page in question: http://www.waywardexchange.com/contact . Any help is appreciated!
  24. I would like to condense my home page - scmassages.comI'm wondering if I am able to do something like this for my front page - http://www.replenishwith.us/ using images to link to sections of site, but how it also looks the same on mobile.I know I can use gallery/summary grids/walls and link images. But is it possible to get a wall style similar the that website?
  25. I'm helping a client update her site and we are trying to put text links on the home page. I would like them to be the larger size and font face of the site's H1 style, but instead, as soon as I add a link to the text, it changes to a different font and size. I've had no luck in CSS or anywhere else yet. Is there a way to custom style links?
