Are there any settings for changing the look of quotes within a blog in Squarespace 7.1? I'd really like to have quotes displayed as a block quote (where there's a vertical line to the left of the quoted text). Is this doable? Thank you!

An import function from 7.1 from 7.0? Or an export function from 7.0 to 7.1? My 7.0 has many images, and many pages. Recreating pages would be long and tedious. No time/ patience for that. I need 7.1 to post video pages. Can this be done in SquareSpace?

I am creating a slideshow section where a title and subtitle display on hover for each image. From what I understand, there isn't a way to adjust the opacity of the overlay in site styles. I need to darken the overlay probably by 30% - has anyone encountered a good work around or solution to this? I have limited coding knowledge and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi, I've just logged back in and my homepage is not editable. If I try and enter new text the page drops to the bottom immediately. If I try and adjust the text or photos, the no entry sign pops up. Nothing moves. Nothing is working however, if I go into another page, everything is fine. Have I accidently done something? Any ideas what this is? Its driving me nuts. Im guessing im on 7.1? I have been working on a new website. Today when signed in & opened site it has lost all formatting & graphics. On sign in page it shows correct. Image 01. When I select go to website all is lost. Image 02. What has happened. How to correct?

Just worked with a new client, can't wait to see the site live when they launch. I'm really excited about how the typography treatment came out on the desktop version. I made some css coding for my products to appear side by side on squarespace mobile, it worked but I've noticed that upon reloading to the site, the custom CSS works only when I go back to the custom CSS menu. I also check my site on my mobile and the code didn't work. I'm new in using squarespace can someone please help me. Attached is my screenshot of the code. I recently migrated a client website from 7.0 to 7.1 and now one of her links is not working or updating properly. The link in question is below- we are using it as her 'links in bio' for when she needs to share all her links within social media (tiktok, IG, etc) https://www.emilygraceacupuncture.com/love (squarespace URL: emilygraceacupuncture.squarespace.com) I've attached the correct/updated webpage and what the buttons *should* say. However, when we view it from her instagram bio: https://www.instagram.com/emilygraceacupuncture/ (click the link in the bio) it's not showing up correctly. You'll notice a discrepancy ! We've tried the following: - Viewed https://www.emilygraceacupuncture.com/love on desktop/computer - content is correct - View the link directly in incognito on desktop - ✅ content is correct - View the link through Instagram on desktop - ✅ content is correct - View the link through Instagram on MOBILE - ❌ content is incorrect - View the link through the mobile browser on MOBILE - ❌ content is incorrect I also confirmed that several of her viewers on IG also experience the same thing . As she uses this link to update it with her latest workshops, people try to go and sign up, but it doesn't work I reached out to Squarespce customer service already and followed these steps: To troubleshoot or update the content that displays, use Facebook's debugger tool: Open the tool here: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug Add the URL you want to share and click Debug. If you have multiple custom domains, use your primary domain. Scroll down to Link Preview and check the content. If you don't see the correct content, scroll up and click Scrape Again. You might need to do this a few times. Check the content again. As well as duplicating the page, renaming it a different URL slug and completely creating a brand new page. I even updated it on my own IG profile and it's having the same issue (https://www.instagram.com/josieng/) Now on Safari, it's completely showing a different page than what I see within my Squraespace dashboard (in Edit mode) Any ideas???

Hi there I am moving my site over to 7.1 and hoping to turn off some of the flex animations on my "Work" page when I hover over the portfolio feature images. Specifically, I would like to use Custom CSS to turn off the scale in / zoom in of the feature image and turn off the slide up of the text overlay. Visually they oppose each other's motion so I would prefer to keep these clean and static. The fade on of the blue overlay is fine as is. I have been on multiple threads on the forum yet I am experiencing an issue where Custom CSS isn't removing the underline from the active nav item. Hey, I have struggled for some hours ending up nowhere. I want to add text on top of pictures in a gallery with the text being exclusive to each picture. CONTACT > SEND A MESSAGE (https://www.michaeldruker.com/) DEVELOPMENTS > OUR COMMUNITIES > INTERESTED? (https://www.michaeldruker.com/new-developments) One is for residential inquiries and one is for those interested in one of the communities. We'd like to keep the Squarespace Contact Form titles as-is, but is there a way to trigger it to send a more customized subject line to his email so he can easily delineate which form it's coming from without adding it to the form title? For example, the submission from the Communities contact form comes through with the subject line "Join our Interest List." Is there a way anyone knows of that can have the email subject read "Communities Inquiry" or even something like "Join our Interest List - Communities"? Thanks!

I have noticed when you create a project under a portfolio page, the type headings have a word by word slide up motion when using the "Flex" style. However, as soon as I format text - Text color or size, the animation no longer happens. I have also noticed that if I use the exact same style as the original text block, it still doesn't animate. Is this a glitch with that style? If not, what controls when type does and doesn't animate? Hi, I am trying to make the card background smaller for a simple list auto layout. I have the padding set to zero, but I want it to be smaller. Here is what I am looking for: 1) Top - The grey card should be lowered about 1/4 so the image looks like it overlaps it 2) Bottom - The grey card should be higher so half the button is in the card and the other half is overlapping. I'm trying to build a sidebar menu that includes a single dropdown menu. A perfect example is in the Site URL I've supplied. To the right of "Collection page sections" is sidebar labeled, "IN THIS GUIDE". It contains a single dropdown menu, specifically outlining what's on the page. The dropdown item is "Store sections". – How do I do this? Assuming I can add anchor links to each item this is exactly what I want! I'm a newbie so maybe I'm using inaccurate nomenclature but I've scoured the web and I can't find anything! Please help! Thanks:)

Hi Everyone, I am web designer, been working on and with squarespace for the last 5 years .... For some reason, I have been unable to link my PayPal to the squarespace site I am working on. Stripe works, Godaddy works, but I can't seem to troubleshoot the specific issue that prevents the linking with PayPal to happen. I have added and granted the API permission - all the business account information is filled out and approved by Paypal - they are no limitations on the account PayPal side. Paypal says to contact SQS and SQS tells me to contact Paypal.... I can't seem to do the last step the sqs guide provides which is to login in with the merchant id. Please, can anyone help ? I am at my wit's end and I have been trying for weeks now to no avail ..... Thank you, Amanda
