  1. Site URL: https://www.standupspeakout.org/episodes Is there any way to add a class that I can then tweak the spacing of items in a block with. I want to edit the spacing in the header area on a page to decrease the spacing between blocks. I have searched and haven't found any information on this. Thanks for any direction with this. Shari
  2. Site URL: https://www.mattportch.com Hi, The latest Squarespace update has inevitably caused errors on my site to the code. How do I... Close back up the now massive line spacing in my navigation on both desktop and mobile view?...
  3. Site URL: https://www.igroomhub.com.au/mixed-breeds-advanced/oodle-head-studies Can someone tell me where to get rid of this spacing please? It is not a site wide problem - very puzzling to me (newb) It's between the last section on a page and the footer. Pic should explain! Page is behind a memberspace thingy so access can be arranged, just a little twisted.
  4. Site URL: https://gar-grouper-xgll.squarespace.com/config/pages Hi everyone, does anyone know how to reduce the white space under and above a line (and other blocks)? Hope you can help me with this issue!
  5. Site URL: https://silver-grouse-tc6g.squarespace.com/config/ Hello, In the MOBILE view, I would like to increase the space between each of the images in my gallery pages. I am using Wells template and my issue is only with the mobile, where it can be confusing as to whether a caption belongs to the image above, or the one below. I would like more space between the images regardless for a less cluttered look (and giving more importance to each image).
  6. Help! I enjoy SquareSpace but I cannot get on with the excess spacing and font size that is the default. I am not a coder - but does anyone have any easy to implement tips on how to do the following? 1. Spacing: Significantly reduce the amount of white space in between all sections. Please note that I always go to 'edit section' and select small, but even on the '10' default, there is always so much white space remaining, it drives me crazy and makes it really hard to keep priority content above the fold. 2. Headers: I am struggling to fully optimise my pages, as the size of the font in H1 is HUGE and looks ridiculous (so I have to use H2 or H3 for headers, instead of H1). Please and thank you!
  7. Site URL: https://qsolutionsgroup.squarespace.com/ Hi how do I change the spacing between dot points, im trying to have dot points closer together, im using bedford template and my password is 'squarespace'
  8. Hi! Thanks to this forum, I was able to add 10px of spacing in between different galleries (as you can see in the first picture), but once I am navigating within a gallery, the pictures float in from below as I scroll down but don't have any spacing. Is there any way to add a similar spacing to these? Thank you!! Best, Stefan
  9. Site URL: https://onion-guitar-w3xs.squarespace.com/ Password: peanutsandpomelo Hi, I just wondered if there was code I could input to reduce the spacing in between the headers 'product description' and 'additional info'. And if there was a way to move this copy underneath the button. Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://www.raketawatchclub.com/collectionswip passcode is squarespace123 I'm having a really tough time dealing with all the white space on this page. I'm trying to look into doing some custom CSS to remove the padding but I haven't found a tutorial that has worked for this particular page. Thanks in advance.
  11. Site URL: https://www.dorsaahari.com/ Hi, The homepage of my website (mobile version) has a lot of white/negative space below the background image, above the footer. I have tried the design tricks that I've read online but the space is still there. I would be grateful if someone can help me with this. Thank you
  12. Site URL: https://www.nickasbell.com Hello! I was looking to change the spacing/padding between each section with custom CSS because the current way to change it doesn't resolve clearing up all the white space in between the sections.
  13. Site URL: https://www.birminghamearlyyearsnetworks.org/edgbaston I've just found that some of our pages are displaying very large unwanted space under the footer... I've tried on two different browsers, on my mobile, on my wifi then on 3G, and I can still see it. Any ideas for how to resolve would be welcomed.
  14. Site URL: https://www.courtneychecks.com/ Thank you to everyone who has helped already (crawling these questions/solutions has solved so many issues without even having to ask). TL;DR I'm not a proper designer, just trying my best. I'm now having issues with a huge blank space to the right of my whole site. I can fix it by setting the header's overflow to hidden, but that hides my drop-down navigation, which is, naturally, a higher priority to keep. I'm especially running into issues with a strange issue this causes on mobile viewing on certain browsers, as this causes my drop-down navigation to expand into this blank space and show a menu that I hadn't selected. I'm hoping that if I can somehow get rid of this blank space, this will solved the mobile nav issue. Thank you so much in advance.

  18. Site URL: https://hwh.squarespace.com/ For this website: https://hwh.squarespace.com/ Password: hwh We would like to have the images bleed to the edge of the page on the left and right side without white space. 19. Site URL: https://hexagon-orange-m87d.squarespace.com/ Hi, I have my Design > Site Spacing > Page Width set to 1680px. On my homepage gallery, the thumbnails spill outside of this width. How can I fix this so it is aligned with everything else? Thanks.

  24. Site URL: http://blackflowers.online Hi there, The web version of the site is exactly how I want it but when looking at the mobile view I have a massive gap between the header/menu and the body of the page. 25. Hi all. I want to have a site footer text pretty much right directly under my blog/site. When I add a footer to the page now there is a big space between the two. I don't know if the problem is that I somehow have to "get the footer up" or that there are some setting now which somehow adds that space under the "blog grid" (I think it is probably this). Can some explain to this noob how to easily get this right? 🙂
