  2. Site URL: https://www.bpbwoodworks.com/ Hi My issue is that mobile view mushes the lines together for one of my sub-menu items "Cutting & Serving Boards" (see pic attached). Adjusting line spacing under Site Styles > Fonts doesn't seem to work for menu items. Squarespace Support told me basically that you can't adjust that with the out-of-the-box settings in Site Styles and that I would need to use Custom CSS. Does anyone have any ideas or leads about code for this? Thanks!
  3. Site URL: http://hassettgoods.com/belts SITE: http://hassettgoods.com/belts I'm trying to reduce this huge gap between the heading and the store product categories in 7.1 . I've tried to following but it has no effect: // REDUCE SECTION HEIGHT // .page-section { min-height: 0 !important; } Thanks for your help!
  4. Site URL: https://www.popedesigner.com Hello. The default space between two text blocks is a little much for my liking. Is there a way to reduce that default space? Such as between an h1 text block and a body copy text block throughout the site? (Messing with the line height makes everything too tight.) Thanks!
  5. Site URL: https://aaronredfieldnew.squarespace.com/ pw: chickenwings I am trying to change the words "Collaborations" to a yellow and "About" to a brown -- but it looks like links all stay the same. Can you separate the main color per font size change these to be multiple colors? Also, I want to change the paragraph spacing to make the words closer to each other on this home page? Thanks! @bangank36 ?
  6. Site URL: https://www.michaelluckemusic.com/transcriptions/p/fred-hersch-songs-from-home Hi, I'm trying to eliminate some extra space above my Slideshow. This extra space wasn't showing up when I created the page, and I only noticed when I looked at it fullscreen. I'm not sure that it's a CSS issue, because when I click to inspect it, the gallery shifts upwards and the space goes away. Also, if I set the slideshow to Autocrop the images, the space disappears, but my images are too cropped on the sides for me to use. So, I'm wondering if it is a cropping/gallery width issue? I've played with some parameters, but haven't found a solution yet. Thanks!
  7. Site URL: https://www.zerowastedesignonline.com/ Hi there, I am having a lot of trouble trying to reduce the footer padding(?) at the bottom of each page on our site. I can't select this as a section, but we would love to get rid of this blank space. The site is https://www.zerowastedesignonline.com/ I would share a screenshot but the blank section is so large that it takes up the whole screen - if you scroll to the bottom of any page you should see what I mean. Thank you in advance! Issue #2: There are also spacing issues on our mobile menu/navigation (image attached). We will be updating the colours to be more accessible but would love to get the spacing issue fixed. Thank you!
  8. Site URL: https://derekj.squarespace.com/config/ I have reached out to the live chat and they all say spacer block. Although that crops out my text on other screen resolutions and platforms. Can anyone help with some custom coding or advice?
  9. Having some issues with the navigation menu on the mobile version of the site. The letters are stacking on top of each in the drop down menu. Is there a way to fix this? Screenshot attached.
  10. Site URL: https://www.taprk.com/ Site URL: https://www.taprk.com/ See below for details... 1) Having issues with spacing on the homepage. See attached screenshot titled, "content should fill the screen". When viewed on a wide-screen or zoomed out (control -) white space appears. 2) Having issues with text sizes and possibly more spacing. See attached screenshot titled, "text gets really small". When viewed on a wide-screen/zoomed out the text gets significantly smaller. 3) Having issues with spacing on their Management page, See attached screenshot titled, "Rob's image larger". When zoomed out, an individual's image gets larger than the others. 4) On their Management page, images are unequal when viewed on larger screens. See attached screenshot titled, " Odd on large screens." 5) Having issues with spacing on their bio pages. See attached screenshot titled, "width issue". Note: Also, in Google Chrome you can simulate a large screen by zooming out (ctrl -). That’s when most of the issues are present. Ensure all headshots are equal size on all screen sizes (and zoom levels) Currently, on extra-large screens, sizes and spacing is not the same Reduce max-width of the content area (important for large screen sizes) Add new bios and headshots (bio pages should have different background images) Update Copywrite dates on all pages
  11. Site URL: https://daisy-tarpon-72er.squarespace.com/portfolio I am trying to remove spacing between site title and next section as well as between section and footer on ALL desktop pages. I tried this code: @media only screen and (min-width:641px) { [data-section-id="60619d0a5517c019d3727c0c"] { margin-top: -50px; } /*Remove HOME white space between site title and next section*/ [data-section-id="605498d8b43c651398849a26"] { margin-top: -20px; } /*Remove PORTFOLIO white space between site title and next section*/ [data-section-id="605660acc26d96133b3f7470" ] { margin-top: -20px; } /*Remove CONTACT white space between site title and next section*/ [data-section-id="6054b9bfc1228d04d6dac684"] { margin-top: -20px; } } BUT it interferes with my mobile site and these codes are affected as follows: /* hide footer mobile */ DISPLAYS WHEN THE ABOVE CODE IS ADDED! @media only screen and (max-width:640px) { footer.sections { display: none !important; } } /* Add sub title */ DOESN"T DISPLAY WHEN THE ABOVE CODE IS ADDED! a#site-title:after { content: "architect"!important; display: block !important; font-size: 100% !important; font-weight: 400 !important; line-height: 0.35 !important; color: lightgrey !important; } Does anyone know where I am going wrong? Thanks

  13. Site URL: https://www.daphnes.co.nz/ Hi there, Having trouble with the formatting of text links on the contact page, but on mobile only. When these links begin on a new line on mobile they have an extra space before the link - making it look like they are indented. See attached example. Also, this error doesn't appear when I'm on my browser and go 'Inspect' and view it at different mobile sizes - it only appears on an actual phone browser.. I am using custom css on the site and I have checked the relevant parts to see if they affect it but no luck so far. If anyone could take a quick look I would be so grateful! Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks!
  14. Site URL: https://green-lobster-ggnk.squarespace.com/ https://green-lobster-ggnk.squarespace.com/ Site Acess code is 1234 I need to reduce the space between header 3, and paragrph across the site. 15. Site URL: https://www.prochemicalstore.com/om-oss Hi, I need to decrease the space between the headline of the image and the body text. (the gap btw "Vad vi gör" and "Representerar..." on attached image. I'm thinking of two methods: 1. Use HTML in a code block. But then I need to know the path to the image. Is there a way to get that information? (the support guy didn't know) 2. Customize it by CSS. Is there another way? Many thanks!
  16. This site isn't live yet, so I'm attaching a screen shot of what I'm referencing. I'd like to either align the image right, to be closer to the text or reduce the spacing in the box itself. I'm in 7.1. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
  17. Site URL: https://daisy-tarpon-72er.squarespace.com/portfolio I have used this code to reduce spacing on the home page between the site title and the slideshow: /*Move slideshow up to bottom of title header on Desktop only */ @media screen and (min-width: 401px) { .gallery-fullscreen-slideshow-wrapper { position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; width: 93%; height: 93% } } I added width and height as the right hand side of the image, without these property values, runs to full bleed. I don't think this is correct but don't know how to fix it. Ideally, I'd like to remove the padding from blocks under the site title on all pages. There must be a global class that I could use but I am not sure which one. Can anyone help @tuanphan ? Thanks PW: Help123

  24. Site URL: https://www.dreamdescriptions.com/ Hello! I am trying to make my masonry grid ignore captions for spacing the images so that the space between images remain the same regardless of there being a caption to the image or not. The two pictures I have attached show the current irregular spacing that comes when I caption an image and the second picture shows the regular spacing that I hope to achieve. I also want to move the text closer to the image that it is a caption for. I hope someone can help! https://www.dreamdescriptions.com/ password: temp6789
  25. Site URL: https://www.winstonmaxwell.com/winston-maxwell-art-collective-art-handling Hi, I've been trying to adjust the spacing between the caption and the images, but they're all too big. I've tried the codes I found in some of the questions here, but they don't work on the site. I was wondering if anyone can help me out? We're also on a plan that doesn't allow injecting codes on certain pages only. Thank you. - P
