  1. Site URL: https://flamingo-goby-tkw6.squarespace.com/ Password: home Is there anyway I can expand the are where the three items - Available Homes - Application - Resource Hub, on this nav is to allow them to all appear on the same line? Yes, I could lower the font size but I would rather not and there is plenty of white space for the items to fit in. Screenshot attached below. Thank you in advance for any assistance! Patterson
  2. Site URL: https://www.lachlanmcnabb.com/ Hi I am trying to control the spacing between sections and blocks. If you look at this homepage - there is a huge gap underneath "CHECK OUT THESE ACTION SHOTS BELOW" block and the gallery section underneath. I have reduced it as much as I can with the block controls. I would love any suggestions on how to fix this. The site is unfinished but this is driving me crazy Squarespace used to be so easy to use and always looked good because of the consistent spacing. This latest version is INFURIATING to use with everything "smartly" popping in and out - can I disable all that movement? Many thanks in advance WEBSITE: https://www.lachlanmcnabb.com/ PASSWORD: MTB123
  3. Site URL: http://www.studiofurks.com How do I reduce/remove the spacing between Selected Work and the grid. Please see screenshot:
  4. Site URL: https://www.lylasapir.com/ Hi, Is there a way to control spacing between blocks and sections without minimizing each section? There is a large empty white space between the block / section and I could not find a way to remove this without changing the section above or below, any ideas? Thanks, Lyla
  5. Site URL: https://www.twosugars.blog/ hi there, Is there a way I can reduce the space between the lines of text in my text box on my site - https://www.twosugars.blog/ I'd like it to be about half the size that it is now. is this a Custom CSS issue? or is there another way? Thanks J
  6. Site URL: https://amethyst-banjo-2g6e.squarespace.com/listen Hello, I would like to decrease the spacing between these three buttons to be right next to each other. Would also like to tighten the light height between "Begin Your Journey" and "Where are you right now?" without effecting the rest of the site. Any ideas?r
  7. Site URL: https://www.allshereads.com.au/home-1 Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the width of the embed / code layouts. I've embedded a widget from Goodreads, but I want it to display either side by side the summary layout, or another layout, but it won't allow me to do so because of the width of the layout across the page. Thanks so much, Shan.
  8. I have a three column layout, with each column having a title, image, body copy and button. I used a full width spacer to ensure my buttons are all vertically aligned and it looks as intended (on desktop). On mobile though the buttons aren't associated with the relevant image and text (since the spacer is breaking the column layout). If I remove the spacer the buttons are now associated correctly on the mobile view, but on desktop aren't vertically aligned. I've tried searching for a solution to this, but haven't found anything that works. Is this possible, or do I have to look at some custom CSS? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
  9. Site URL: https://darkballaddesigns.com/shop-all/art Hello, After getting help with code to make my product pictures into to their original aspect ratio and sizes i have found that the titles and prices etc for the products are far too low and far away from the pictures. I have attached pictures for desktop and mobile so you can see what I mean. Is there a way to keep the original aspect ratio fix AND have the text closer underneath the product pictures? This is affecting both desktop and mobile. Thanks
  10. Site URL: https://bigkidbakesale.squarespace.com/ Hello, Site password: bigkidbakesale I am in the middle of working on this site and would love any feedback, constructive or otherwise. Things I would love suggestions on: -The baker profile page - I would love to add icons under each of the bakers with the items they offer (cakes, cookies, etc). but this isn't an option with List items. Any suggestions on how I could incorporate this? -I also want to include a search function in the baker profile page that would allow people to search by item, location, etc. Is this possible? Thank you so much! Blayne
  11. Site URL: https://isabelladoran.com/add-flavour Hi all, I am needing some assistance with some custom CSS. I have been trying to figure out how to reduce the massive gaps of space in between my content on my website when it is on mobile, however I am a bit stuck (have included images to show exactly what I mean on one page as an example). I have tried to fix the padding and spacing but it doesn't seem to be working. This issue is on all the pages connected to my work page. How am I able to fix this?
  12. Site URL: https://www.freshcoastjazz.com/ Hello. I had to reduce the link spacing of my main header links so I could set my mobile breakpoint to 1000px to mitigate the navigation from wrapping. Now the links look like they're too scrunched together with all this empty space between the links and logo when the browser is anything wider than 1200px. Is there any way to allow the link spacing to expand evenly as the browser width gets wider?
  13. Site URL: https://primrose-dahlia-2c57.squarespace.com/services-2 I have 2 blocks on this part of my website, and there's way too much blank space between them. I've tried changing the height on both of them but it's still too much for my liking. Is there anything I can do to reduce the padding between the blocks (under the part about FAQ and above the pictures) but keep everything else the same?
  14. Site URL: http://tylerelise.com Hi there, I'm currently using this code in the custom CSS for my website to get the gallery images to have 8px of space between them: #container-content { padding-left: 8px!important; padding-right: 8px!important; } #grid .item { margin-left:-8px; a { border: 16px solid #fff; } /* Overlay size on hover */ .wrapper { margin: 16px; } } The issue I'm noticing is that the images now sit towards the bottom right corner and are off-center in the box. I've attached an image of what this looks like in edit view, you can see the content is sitting towards the bottom right of the container. It seems like something is effecting the right margin within the code (I've also attached a screenshot from the inspect view to show this). I'm wondering if maybe because it's a white border and not a margin the borders to the right of each image are now covering 8px of its neighboring image? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  15. Site URL: http://www.labelle-artistry.com Hi! I'm in desperate need of help on the tablet version of my website labelle-artistry.com. The headlines are coming up way too large, the header logo is too small and the alignment is all off (see pictures below). Can someone please help me? Thank you! Lindsay
  16. My website: https://thrustinteractive.squarespace.com This sire looks good and has the appropriate white space on the sides of content on desktop, however when I look at the site in a mobile view elements are bunched together and the spacer blocks are lost. I am using the Brine template, is there any way to add code or have the spacer blocks that keep my site clean show up on mobile. It is keeping my website from being responsive and looking as good on mobile as it does on desktop. Thank you for your help!
  17. Site URL: https://vizchange.net I have a website where I present climate and weather data visualizations. I have it setup on several tablet and touchscreen computers at a national park visitor center and hotel. I am trying to minimize the scrolling on pages to encourage the website to be explored as much as possible, so I am trying to limit any hurdles on various devices, for example, scrolling. If you go to an example visualization (blog entry), I would like to maximize the space used for the visualization. I would like to reduce the empty space to the left and right of the data visualizations and the space above and below. Each blog page (where the individual visualizations are located) should fit to a screen on any device without or with as little scrolling as possible. I am familiar with CSS coding, but still a novice. I have no spacer blocks and have no side-bar navigation menus. Any suggestions for solving this problem and improving the layout to maximize the user experience with the visualizations is much appreciated. BTW: this is a pilot project!
  18. Site URL: https://www.wordwisecoaching.co.uk/ I have been having some trouble with the mobile menu overlay. The spacing looks fine when you adjust the settings using the Squarespace Edit sliders, but when navigating the live site the spacing of the menu items will change as I move between different pages. It goes from being perfectly spaced on one page to all overlaying and unreadable on the next. I have attached some screenshots of this. I did use some code at one point to try to adjust the spacing of the items so that they would fit on one screen with no scroll, but have since deleted this and the issue is still there. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
  19. Site URL: https://vanilla-ellipsoid-frjx.squarespace.com/ I want to reduce the spacing between the paragraph styles (Red Area), but only this header on the home page - not the whole site. Is there a piece of code that can do this for only a specific section of the site? Thank you! site password: 12345
  20. Site URL: https://www.tobyroney.com/ Hi, I am wanting to remove the gaps between the few separate carousels I have on my website. I would like them to appear flush, so there is no gap between the first top one and the second one. I’m using the template Lange. There is no way to remove the spacing between two different carousels in the settings unfortunately, so if anyone has custom coding to help with this that’d be amazing!
  21. Site URL: https://cliniquedentaireantoinesabeh.com/ Hi, I want to reduce the space between the logo, the main nav and the button on my webstie, so the nav menu in the middle can be on ONE LINE only. Thanks
  22. Site URL: https://www.nellesbar.dk/menu Hello, I'm updating my site and would like to change/adjust/reduce the space between the menu categories - how do I do that? See attached file. I'm using the 'Pacific' template.
  23. Site URL: http://www.blossomcreativeagency.com Hi! I had to add the below code to custom CSS to get the images (brought in from Canva) to show up properly on mobile, and while it works great, there's now a giant gray space beneath the images that I can't figure out how to get rid of. Thanks for your help! @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .homepage .section-background img { width: 100% !important; height: auto !important; } }
  24. I noticed there is quite a bit of padding in between sections that creates a ton of white space and emptiness. How can I reduce the padding in between all sections to make for a seamless website? This is for my web portfolio showcasing designs and project details. I've been experiencing difficulty fitting slideshows, simple images, and plain text boxes without too much padding in between sections. Thank you!
  25. Hello! Is there a way to remove the minimum width of a spacer block? I've found a lot of guides to remove the minimum height of a spacer, but not the with. Thanks in advance
