  1. Site URL: https://www.jetsetjourneys.com/luxury-for-less/south-african-big-five-safaris-on-a-budget Is there code that will swap the little 'Share' button at the bottom of blogposts in Bedford Template to a list of Social Sharing logos with relevant links? I want to show the Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc, logos with 'Click here to share' written above it so that it's much more prominent on the page.
  2. I checked my site's WCAG compliance using the WAVE Accessibility Tool and I am getting errors on every page for the social links in the Footer. The error is: "Empty Link: A link contains no text". I believe the code should identify the link as Twitter, Instagram, Mail, etc. so people with disabilities using screen readers know what they are clicking on. I was told by Squarespace Technical Support that there is not currently a solution in place for this. I was told I would need to upgrade my subscription and manually fix the code. I was surprised about this response. Social Links are a standard block tool and I imagine they are used quite a bit. Does anyone know if Squarespace is working on a solution to ensure that this block meets accessibility standards? Or is there a workaround that does not require upgrading my subscription? Thanks for the help.
  3. Hey all, I'm looking to add social icons / links for guests on my blog. I have the general social icons linking to my social media channels - but how could I add social icons that link to my guests social channels? Was trying to using the following html, but the formatting looks weird (I'm trying to get them in a line from left to right) <div id="guestSocial" style="width: 214px;"> <a href="https://twitter.com/guest" target="_blank"><img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e45d63580cd52343e60b103/t/5e49f6d5bc62bd191290ed6e/158190562888/iconmonstr-twitter-5-32.png" alt="twitter link"></a> <a href="https://www.guestwebsite.com/" target="_blank"><img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e45d63580cd52343e60b103/t/5e49f7da50a0f5705488f299/158190589345/iconmonstr-globe-3-32.png" alt="website link"></a> <a href="https://www.guestlinkedincom/" target="_blank"><img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e45d63580cd52343e60b103/t/5e49fab9ac722716386c22b9/158190662562/iconmonstr-linkedin-5-32.png" alt="website link"></a> </div> Thank you!!

  8. Site URL: http://caitlinhowe.com Hello all, I'm trying to figure out a way to hide my social icons when my site is viewed in mobile. Is this possible? I love their placement on desktop but they are insanely distracting on mobile. I'd also be okay with somehow dropping them to the bottom of the page. Any ideas?
  9. Dear all, How can I add individual social media icons to each team member under their profile? I want to show their photo, bio and then a few icons underneath for their contact information such as email, facebook, linkedin,... Thanks a million! Michael
  10. Would love to be able to add links to customer's Google Maps businesses with Google's new g.page URLs in the /settings/social-links menu where it would show as a Google icon instead of just a generic link icon. This would be a great way to link to a customer's business for any Google services (directions, reviews, photos, etc) Here's an example of the new link format. I think this is new within the last few months. Would love to see Squarespace support it! https://g.page/vammen-law?share
  11. Hi there! It doesn't seem that Fulton has built in social media icons, it says they are "visible" under settings > social links, but I'm not seeing them. In a previous template they simply appeared at the bottom which was awesome. Please help! Many thanks!

  18. I have a team page on my website, where I would like to add individual social media icons to each of my team members, but whenever I go to add a social links block, it defaults to the same set I have in Settings > Social Links. My coder has informed me that it's possible to reassign the links via javascript, though it's not the nicest solution. I was wondering if anyone might have a solution for this problem?
  19. Hello! Has anyone tried to modify the CSS so the Mobile View displays the Social Media Icons in the front? Now the icons are hidden in the right but we want them to display right away. Any idea/help/direction/tip on how to do this? Thanks

  21. We've added a custom social link icon in the footer of our website our website (Hyde template) using the following custom html in Home>Design>Custom CSS (huge thanks to @tuanphan) : .Footer-middle .sqs-svg-icon--wrapper:first-child { visibility: hidden; } .Footer-middle .sqs-svg-icon--outer .sqs-svg-icon--wrapper:first-child:after { visibility: visible; content: ""; background-image: url(https://image.flaticon.com/icons/svg/49/49625.svg); background-size: contain; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; width: 30px; height: 30px; display: inline-block; } We would like to have the custom icon gray out when the user hovers the pointer over either one of the other two icons in the block. For instance, hovering over icon 1 (the new custom social link icon) causes icon 2 and icon 3 in the block to gray out, but when the user hovers over icon 2, icon 3 will gray out but icon 1 remains the same color. Similarly, hover on icon 3 results in icon 2 graying out, but icon 1 remains solid. Pictures of each scenario have been included for the sake of clarity. I've been informed that the solution is somewhat complex and requires using jquery…. Any info is helpful and appreciated.
