  1. Hello Squarespace Community, I am trying to setup a site which sells a software subscription. Is it possible to setup a product that gets less expensive each month without messing with the amount of inventory? Any help would be appreciated! thank you, Josh
  2. Site URL: https://www.designedbyflorence.com Just wandering if it's possible to link one stock variant item, to another product. So we're selling Dolls with custom clothing items, but would like customers to buy either the dolls, or the clothes by themselves, or both the doll and the clothes. And I have multiple versions of the doll, but have the listed as different products, is it possible to link all the doll items so that if one is bought, the other dolls are updated as well?
  3. I am building a commerce site and would like to display the SKU variant as a text with my product for the customer to see. I can enter that in the text of the product, but it would be nice to be able to just expose that field. I tried to create a variant as a workaround but those display as drop down fields and I want it as a text box I guess similar to how the quantity displays. Is it possible to control what variants are exposed?
  4. This all started when I was researching to see if Squarespace offers any solutions that would allow you to set quantity-based discounts (i.e. $4/each, 3 for $10), and long story short - there isn't any which is a huge bummer. Then I'm thinking that maybe I could post a product listing and call it a "bundle", a "set" or a "box" priced at $10, and customers can select 3 products that are eligible for the discount as variants, but in this case, tracking inventory will be a huge mess. So my question is, can I use the same SKU in multiple listings? And what will happen if I do that? Will they share the same inventory cuz if they do, that'd be real nice. Please help! Thank you!
  5. Site URL: https://www.setcollective.com.au Hi! I have a site that is currently set up to sell individual products and then 'sets' of the same individual products. For example you can buy: A Singlets in three different colours A Tshirt in three different colours A Long Sleeve Tshirt in 3 different colours all as individual products or you can buy them as a set i.e You can buy a singlet, tshirt, long sleeve top all in the same colour as a 'set' however when someone buys this product, it is not taken from the stock count because Squarespace does not know it is also another product. Is there a way to add more than one SKU per product line i.e CLASSIC SET (1 Singlet, Tshirt, Long Sleeve Top in Grey is Sku0000, Sku0001, Sku0002) so that it takes the three skus and subtracts this from the overall same stock count. You can see the site here: www.setcollective.com.au I'm pretty sure it can't - is there a plugin or can this be customised? Thanks, Leanne
  6. I'd like to be able to either: add a second mailing list sign up, or add a step in the checkout process (which would invite customers to give permission to subscribe them to a second mailing list) But I want to do this only for 2 SKUs, and not the other SKUs available on the site. Is this doable? If so, how? I see how I can add a form to the product page, but that seems a pretty clunky solution. I'd strongly prefer something that happens after the product is placed in a shopping cart. I'd be very appreciative of any suggestions! Thanks in advance.
  7. I am looking for a way to have a custom response sent to a customer based on the SKU they order. For example. If a customer ordered SQ2853405 they would be sent a link in their confirmation to http://www.google.com. If they ordered SQ4553165 they would be directed to http://www.squarespace.com. Does anyone know the JSON variable to accomplish this? Thank you in advance!
