  1. Hello, I am using SquareSpace 7.1, and I wanted to have two vertical menu as you can see bellow: The left side menu in yellow I used CSS coding to place my navigation like that, which I can change the text color to different pages background. To create the 2nd vertical menu, I have followed the steps from this blog: https://ryandejaegher.com/add-fixed-vertical-navigation-to-squarespace/ Which tells me to Code Inject a JavaScript with #link to the pages, as you can see bellow: But now I want to apply styles to the text on the left side menu, s

  3. Site URL: https://www.parkbrewing.company/products-attack-the-block I have four store pages, I call them "Collections:" Collection: Attack-the-Block Collection: Park Brewing Collection: Sask Rec. Collection: Dub-Dub! The issue I am having is when you are on one store page for example "Collection: Attack-the-Block". There is no navigation ability to switch between store pages. I would like to access the other three store pages "Collection: Park Brewing" etc. for example. I have done a number of edits to the {products.collection-content-wrapper .nes
  4. Site URL: https://polygon-eagle-lpf8.squarespace.com/config/design/styles I'm switching my blog from Wix to Squarespace, but I'm having a hard time customizing the homepage so that it replicates the current site. My main question is if it's possible to add a sticky social media bar like the one here: coze.online ?
  5. Site URL: https://www.vincenthulme.com/ Hi, I have implemented this CSS (see below) to moved the sidebar to the left in the Wells Template but every time I click on the main menu it shifts down. What can I do so that gallery/image info doesnt move when I click on the main menu? .collection-type-gallery.hide-meta .meta { right: 0; bottom: 15px; left: 40px; width: 225px; max-width: 225px; background: auto; z-index: 9999; } Thanks!
  6. Site URL: http://walrus-crow-g8y9.squarespace.com Hello, First off, the password for my site (since I'm still on the trial version) is: password1 I'm a little rusty on CSS, and I've had very minor success at trying to get what I want so far - basically, I just want the background color of the sidebar/header to be black, while the text will mainly be white. I've got something close to this already (though I haven't found the tags to make the text white yet), however it's not responsive when I switch to mobile display! I've tried fixing it by piecing together some CSS that I found, b
  7. Site URL: https://robin-wolf-byn9.squarespace.com/config/pages/5f889213f20dd62eb5af0edb Hi, As you can see from the video I created a side bar made of a summary block, search box, archive, summary carousel and another summary block. What I would like to do is that the side bar follows along with with the blog post (to avoid having that blank space on the side). I would like to apply that only on the desktop version otherwise it would be a mess on mobile. I have a personal plan and I don't mind applying the code to every search bar, every archive block and every summary. I have them
  8. Site URL: https://www.vernhippensteal.com Hello, I am using the following CSS for a custom sidebar navigation menu: #headerWrapper header#header { height: 100vh !important; padding: 15px !important; /* change to anything you want */ } body.sidebar-position-left #headerWrapper { left: 0 !important; top: 0 !important; } #headerWrapper header#header { height: 100vh !important; } header#header { background: #402533; } What do I need to change or add so that the header does not take up 100vh on mobile? 10. Site URL: http://www.jessicakobeissi.com/ Greetings, I am new, just started today. Spent the whole afternoon trying to get a side/horizontal scrolling site like Format website builder. Apparently, the only horizontal scrolling is by using slideshow reel? Can i put multiple images side by side to achive the same as reel? Reference: http://www.jessicakobeissi.com/ Also, the reel doesnt have spacing but i found the code to add it but the photos gets cut off at both sides of the arrow button. Once i have something like a reel from the reference site, i want to link to anothr
  11. Site URL: https://www.talkballuk.com/ Due to my template not allowing for the addition of a sidebar, I have manually placed content blocks to assemble my own. I only want the sidebar to show on individual blogs/articles. This 'manual sidebar' works great on a desktop view and tablet view - but works bad on mobile view, with all content being shifted to the bottom of the page. Is there a way that I can disable my makeshift sidebar for mobile devices? I've spoken to a Squarespace Expert and they informed me that the only template that has a built in sidebar, that disappear
  12. Site URL: http://www.johnpawson.com/works Hey, so I am supposed to create a Website for an Architect, kind of inspired by this Website http://www.johnpawson.com/works I have already created a Squarespace website in the past, but now I can't find a template in which the Menu can be shown on the for example left side (only on top) and going through changing the Header also does not make this possible. Does someone know anything about this/ tell me any tips? Thank you in advance!
  13. Site URL: https://www.theartbarn.com Site template - FIVE I have recently added MemberSpace to the back end of my site. When I did that, I also created a side bar ONLY in that section of my site for Member Navigation. If I buy anything on my site and go to checkout, the sidebar for my member navigation shows up in my cart. I don't want it there. Those MemberSpace customers checkout someplace else. How can I make this go away? I have read about inserting CSS someplace, but I know NOTHING about the code world. It's basically the last fix I need to make this work! My brain is ble
  14. Site URL: https://www.thedesignconference.com.au/best-agency-application Hey there gang. Im trying to use the SQSP code component to create a website section featuring two 50% wide columns. The left column features a h2 header, with the right column featuring four paragraphs of text. My goal is to use 'position: sticky' on the h2 header in the left column, to pin the h2 to the top of the browser while the user scroll through the section. — — — — — — — — — — — My CSS — — — — — — — — — — — .orb-questions-wrapper { display: flex; background-color: #FFF;
  15. Site URL: https://vhart.squarespace.com/ Hello, I am having trouble making a sidebar navigation menu look nice with CSS. @tuanphan helped me change the menu's background color, but I need further expert guidance on adjusting spacing and alignment if possible. I would like to customize the "Wells" template to make its sidebar navigation menu look like the "Supply" template's sidebar navigation. I've attached two screenshots to show the difference in the two templates. Do you know of a way to expand the "Wells" menu to make it fill the left column like it does on "Supply"? I wo
  16. Site URL: https://heartpainter.com/ Discovered a major mistake I'd made in redoing my heartpainter site. Might save someone else some trouble. I'm using Wells, so navigation is in the left sidebar. I had thought it would be convenient for viewers if I set the navigation sidebar as fixed, so they could hop to another page after they'd scrolled down a bit. Works great on desktop. On tablet, it made it impossible to scroll down the navigation to see some of the secondary nav. Even worse, it caused trouble with turning the tablet view from vertical to landscape. Totally wrecked the pag
  17. Site URL: https://www.cdahmedeh.net/blog/ Hi, I noticed that not all my blog posts are in the side bar on the right. There is a blog post "Why I hate the Weekends..." that doesn't show. https://www.cdahmedeh.net/blog/ https://www.cdahmedeh.net/blog/2017/4/15/why-i-hate-the-weekends Is there a limit to how can be shown? Can it be increased? Thanks, cdahmedeh

  19. I have two blogs on my Skye site. I have a sidebar that is set up for one blog, but the information isn't relevant to the second. Is there a way I can replace the sidebar on just this second blog? Or replace the content? Thanks -Lisa
  20. Hi I know i can add in a manual sidebar using spacers in my blogposts (using the Rally template). Is there css code to enable me to add this sidebar into every blog post page on my site? If not, I have to do it manually every time.
  21. Site URL: https://skye-demo.squarespace.com/ Hey all! I'm moving a blogging site across from WordPress. Is there a theme that has sidebar search author block Is the latest version (assume this is best practice - to always use latest versions?) Skye family has these features, but not available in 7 .0 +. Is it being updated? If there is a theme in the pipeline I can hold off, otherwise might need to stick to WP for this one site. Cheers, Madeleine
  22. Site URL: http://damarisalfonso.com Hi! I am using the Flatiron template. For some reason when I create a password-protected page, the sidebar descriptions are not appearing on those particular pages. I made a test page to show this (the last project listed on my home page). You can look at any other project to see a sidebar within a page. Direct link to the password protected test page (password is "password"): https://www.damarisalfonso.com/test-page-password-protected/ -- Any reason why this might be happening? I noticed while testing that this happens on pre-existing
  23. Site URL: http://www.nyfarmersmarket.com So I've created a "Find a Market" page using a blog set up, so each market gets its own "page", while being tagged with their county and the day of their market. I've been using those tags in the sidebar as "filters" for people to narrow down the results. It works well enough for us at the moment, as we have an extremely tight budget. However, now I need to add a separate "Find a Farmer" blog to accomplish the same thing. However, the sidebar is universal across all blogs. So my question: is there any way to have separate sidebars for s
