  1. I have a client whose Shipstation needs to be reset and re-synced manually after every sale, and still every item shows as Pending until manually changed. I have tried to help her, but everything on the back end of both Squarespace and Shipstation seem to be set up properly. Is anyone else having issues with this sync -- I can't seem to find any help from Squarespace on how to get this issue resolved. As far as I understand, the goal is that Shipstation automatically marks as fulfilled and syncs tracking info after the label is printed etc. But that's not the case .. any help?
  2. Site URL: https://www.lozidesigns.com I run a furniture business based in London UK and we are slowly making flat-packed versions of all our products for shipping. These boxes are going to vary wildly in weight and size and we are not going to be able to group products together for easier shipping due to the nature of our products. Is there a way to either integrate UPS from the UK or to assign a fixed shipping rate to each individual product variant? Trying to manage this by creating wildly varyng weights is unlikely to work.
  3. Does anyone have any idea how much smaller (like exactly.... .25"? .5"?) products need to be than the available box sizes in carrier calculated shipping (Advanced Commerce)? I have a client who ships some items in their own packaging... so the product size is technically the same as the custom box size that I input in the Shipping tab. We've discovered that we're having issues getting the system to recognize that a 10x10x2 product can fit in a 10x10x2 box... let alone combining 2 or more smaller products with dimensions adding up to any of the 10x10x2... but I can't just run trial and err
  4. I am working to setup real-time carrier shipping for my products, but I'm not completely clear on what weight and dimensions I should be using. 'Shipping Weight' and 'Packing Dimensions' are specified, but the descriptions of each aren't clear. I am using USPS Priority Mail shipping. Should I: Use the weight and dimensions of my actual product not including the packing materials or box? Use the weight and dimensions of my product including the packing materials and box?   7. *Is there a way to assign custom shipping price for different sized items? I sell paintings - various sizes from small to large. Using the weight and size tool doesnt seem to work as canvases are usually the same weight if they are a similar size. Is there a way to assign a rate to large works, medium works and small works that doesnt allow the customer to select it at checkout? I am concerned people will just pick the cheapest shipping price when realistically will cost me a lot more. * a newbie to ecommerce by the way!

My site keeps saying the products are oversize. I have my dimensions as follows: L:28 X W:37 X H:28 for t-shirts (and etc. by category) wherein the length and height are the same. Could this be the problem? Does it want the height of the t-shirt from top to bottom? Or does it want the height based on thickness of product when folded or flat in the shipping package?   10. Has anyone found a way to allow customers to get a shipping estimate prior to checkout? (preferably on the product page or in the cart) Currently a customer has to enter their email and go through most of the checkout process before getting the shipping price. Most research shows that this is a major factor in abandoned carts. Many smaller websites have this feature and it is surprising to me that squarespace has not added such a basic ecommerce feature.

Hey all - I have a client who wants to add a plugin to their site that will allow the ability to plug in a zip code and have the user alerted as to whether or not they currently service that area. I thought zipfinder was the answer, but that's just for specific locations (not a map delivery zone type plugin). Has anyone had experience with this? Any good solutions out there?   15. Has anyone found any work around with the waitlists feature, ie- not showing up until you click onto the sold out button and choose a variant? Who is going to click on SOLD OUT and then choose A VARIANT before seeing the WAITLIST? Either have it under the products or allow under product that's SOLD OUT a WAITLIST option with when you click through to the full bleed product page it is there straight away - cant be that hard to implement surely.   17. Hello! I have a shipping by weight problem. I originally had shipping set to standard 1st class Royal Mail, small parcel (up to 1kg). However, A recent customer order went over the weight limit so, I had to cover the additional cost. I've now changed to ship by weight but, the shipping on the first order since changing has been over charged. The product ordered weighs 350 gm and the customer ordered 2 so, that should be a total weight of 700 gms and be within the limit for my 'up to 1kg' shipping option. I have a broken (but workable) system currently in place based on a metaphorical "weight" assigned to products to help the shipping costs scale roughly to the size of the order. For example, I am selling stickers that ship inexpensively but I am also selling books that cost more to ship.   25. Hi all! Just trying to find some info about why Northern Ireland and the surround islands of the UK are placed under the umbrella term of the UK with regards to shipping zones? Anyone UK-based knows that it costs more to send to N Ireland than is does the Mainland UK (if based in Mainland UK, and vice versa)...
