  1. Site URL: http://www.portlandcreamery.com We are offering three pick-up options for customers to receive orders. I would like to include information like time and address in the receipt for each of these options. How can I create a rule or add code to the receipt text for each shipping option? For instance, if the customer chose to pickup at our warehouse, the receipt text would say, "You chose to pick up your order at {warehouse}........"
  2. Site URL: https://silver-hyperboloid-kt5p.squarespace.com/config/commerce Hi - I'm working with a fulfillment center that is asking me to set up harmonized shipping codes for each variant for international shipping. I'm not sure where I would input this. Has anyone come across this? "Please attach to each variant with harmonized code for shipping internationally. They have to be linked in items and are international codes for tariff changing customers. For all upper body Shirts- Harmonized code 610910 For bags, harmonized code is 420229."
  3. Site URL: https://www.daniloagutoli.com/toy-shop Hej allihopa! I am based is Sweden, and about to launch my shop (https://www.daniloagutoli.com/toy-shop), but for some reasons when you add something to the cart, it shows the international shipping costs first instead of the domestic, since Squarespace seems to assume that the buyer is in USA. It's very anti-intuitive and a bit scary for the buyer (all the friends I asked to test the shop, were like WOW, why is the shipping cost so high! - since you can change the shipping location only in the following step). Can this be changed? Thanks
  4. Site URL: https://www.survivaltechniques.co.uk/shop Hello! I am moving my shop over to Squarespace from BigCartel and can't find a way to register the correct shipping for my products. I sell a range of paintings, prints and canvas bags which have a big range of shipping prices, ie a painting is going to cost a lot more to send than an A3 print. I can only find an option to set shipping rates by weight or flat rate, neither of which work as customers often buy a combination of products, which each need to be packaged separately. Is there a way I can set a shipping rate per product
  5. I only have a few products, but I ship orders to customers around the world. I need help setting up the checkout for accurate USPS shipping charges. I'm hoping it will only take someone a few hours to get it set up correctly. Thanks!
  6. Any ideas on how to have multiple packages per inventory item? My product is multi-part and each package has different dimension and weight values. It would be cool if an inventory item could be sub-sets or 'children' of a main item.
  7. Hi, when exporting the orders information as a csv in Squarespace > Commerce> Orders, there is no option to include or exclude certain product information in the csv, such as weight. Can we customise the exported data that is included in the csv? We need to be able to modify the csv for our logistics partner. Thanks for your help.
  8. There are a variety of details to consider when setting up your online store, all in service of the ultimate goal: helping your customers find what they’re looking for and complete checkout smoothly. Get a head start by brainstorming tags, categories, and subcategories so customers can quickly find what they are looking for and browse related items. Think early on about which shipping options and potential discount codes might serve you best. These kinds of decisions can have a direct impact on performance. How do you make sure your online store is set up for success? Share in the
  9. Site URL: https://raindaisy.co.uk I want shipping over £50 to be automatically listed as free but I'm not sure how to do that. All help would be appreciated!
  10. I have a client on the Basic Commerce package for their website. I am on the setting up shipping options step and preferably I want to offer real-time shipping rates with UPS and USPS as the options, based upon the weight of the product. What is the best and easiest way to set this up? Does my client need the Advanced Commerce plan to achieve this? Any advice would be great!
  11. I have a winery client in Tuscany who also offers grappa as part of their product line. The grappa can be freely sold in Europe but not in the United States. Their wine CAN be sold in the USA. Right now everything is on one shop. Is there a way to limit the shipping option for the grappa to exclude the USA? Thx
  12. When I go to the checkout page, it automatically shows the international fee which is the highest fee I charge, and that is before I enter any address details. If someone in the UK adds something to their cart, even though the price will be say £3 shipping, they will initially see £10 shipping and this might put them off buying. How do I change this? I would rather it say nothing at all until someone enters their shipping address.
  13. Site URL: https://www.rawfusion.co.uk/shop Hi How do we go about giving free shipping above a certain order quantity? Say if someone orders above 50 euros for example
  14. Site URL: https://www.liosbikes.com Is there any way for the shipping fee to be based on the total cart value? We offer two shipping fees: FREE for items over £99.00 and a £5.00 shipping fee for cart value up to £99.00. The issue is that people can just click on the FREE option irrespective of their cart value. I've searched on the forums, but cannot find anything. I am not a coding specialist, but I'd like to think this would be an easy option for Squarespace to have on their platform?! Does anyone know of a work around? Thanks in advance Steve
  15. Site URL: https://seahorse-soybean-ygpf.squarespace.com/ I manage an artist cooperative and some of our works are not reasonable to ship and need to be local pick up only. I know how to make a "flat rate" local pick up option, but I don't see a way to specify that a particular product should be available only for local pickup. Any ideas? I'm open to plugins or even coding a workaround myself (but it would be great if there is something already existing).
  16. Site URL: https://www.goosethemarket.com/ Don't turn on Apple Pay if you ship orders. The shipping options don't appear for customers who use Apple Pay -- they never see them or have the option to choose one. Instead, Apple Pay automatically selects whatever shipping option happens to be first in your list of shipping options...but doesn't tell the customer this or give them the option to change it. Customers only find out which shipping option Apple Pay picked for them if they read their confirmation email very carefully. Causing lots of issues for our business and our customers. Reach
  17. Site URL: http://www.meganlovestodraw.com/foodie-friday-shop So, I have a lot of items in my various shops and I'm using the new commerce editor. In the "advanced shipping" pop-up, I add all of the package dimensions for each variant, and save. When I re-open the item a second time, all of that data is gone. I add it again, save. Open it again, gone. I am not editing anything else about the listing when I'm experiencing this. Is this merely a glitch with the new interface? Is this a "ghost" situation where it APPEARS gone on my end, but it's actually fine? I don't want folks t
  18. Site URL: https://www.alexlloydstudio.com/checkout?cartToken=i7zraD2Hi2yPZLo-ZbMG-fSiKlP7KBHV1zlQZvXb Hi All, Currently on my site I have two shipping rates: Collection £0.00 Mainland Uk £4.95 Is there a way to alter the option so that Mainland UK is the default option. Squarespace currently always have lowest price as the default, but I can see customers not noticing and therefore not paying correct price. Thanks! Alex hello@alexlloydstudio.com
  19. Site URL: https://sashalennonpottery.com/ I sell physical goods, and I have upgraded my site to included carrier calculated shipping rates at checkout. Most of my goods require a box for shipping, but I recently started selling stickers. Stickers are flat, and don't need to be shipped in a box. I want the calculated shipping when shipping only stickers to be $0.55 (the cost of a stamp). I can't find a way to manipulate the carrier calculator to know to place the items in an envelope and not a box. I have tried creating a flat rate shipping option, but since I can't apply shipping opti
  20. Hi there I'm working with a client currently offering pick-up for their business. They are looking to move to local delivery and are wondering if there's an extension or plug-in to add to their Squarespace site that will help them plan an efficient delivery route. Does this exist? If not, I know there are external programs that can help with this - I have a few to consider but any other personal recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks! Sarah
  21. How do you deal with partial shipments? I have some items coming from Printful, and some items I am fulfilling myself. In this case, how do you notify the customer about partial shipments and tracking?
  22. Site URL: https://www.bodyhappyorg.com/ Hi there, I am hoping that someone with more code experience than me could provide me with some ideas. I am a VA with a small amount of code experience. I have two clients using Squarespace who have both recently added products to their site. I am having a bit of a nightmare with the Shipping options. They are both UK based and for various reasons cannot set standard shipping rates across the board. I understand from spending a long time researching that product specific shipping is currently not an option. I have managed to make a workaround for one o
  23. Hey I was curious if anyone new if Squarespace offered an option for freight shipping? I haven't found any API extensions or attachments to make this process seamless. So far I have only found that Shopify offers this sort of API when shipping freight. Any insight would help thank you.
  24. Order #54 Shipped Your order from PlumleeRoams is on the way. Order Summary Order #54 Placed on March 10, 2021 at 12:23 PM PST Shipped with UPS Tracking Number 1Z15F9600321640880 (this is not linking to UPS tracking or if USP, to USP tracking)
  25. We are a small business that sells handbags of many sizes. We use carrier calculated shipping which works just fine for our mid sized and larger bags. Currently, we are have 3 shipping options that show up on our site: Retail Ground, Priority, and Priority Express. The Retail Ground option is only 5 cents less than priority, and no matter how much we tweak the dimensions and weights on our smaller bags, the lowest price we can populate is $8.20. We have the option within Ship Easy to ship First Class on these smaller items, but Squarespace will not give us the option. We are losing sales
