  1. Site URL: http://www.cubia.com.au Hi Guys! I am selling an item that is only available for local pickup - I do not want to offer shipping. The customer needs to purchase the item on my website, and then I will email them when their order is ready for collection. 1. Is there anyway to remove the shipping information field at checkout? 2. On the invoice that the customer receives, it states that they will be notified when the item has shipped. Is there anyway to change the invoice so it does not say this? 3. This is a long shot, is there anyway to email the customer advising
  2. Site URL: http://www.avocadomalaga.com Hello everyone! After starting to develop the website, I try to link my e-commerce with the parcel delivery company in charge of the orders. In my case, the company is GLS. From GLS they tell me that they have plugins for a number of platforms within which there IS NO Squarespace. I would like to know if anyone has used any plugin for this shipping company. Thanks to all of you
  3. Site URL: http://www.masaj.me/shop Hi there, hoping that someone can help with my query! In the buildup to Christmas we want to add additional options to the checkout page of our online shop, so that people can pay an extra £1 or so to add giftwrap, etc to their order. It would be ideal if there was an option to add this as part of the checkout flow instead of as a separate 'product' in the store, in order to capitalise on this offer. We can make custom forms etc, but I can't figure out how to charge extra for additional services/products as part of the checkout flow. Any advi
  4. Site URL: http://www.niagarafilm.co Does anybody know if there is any plan for shipping by store options? I have 3 different store pages on my site as I run a small scale film lab, I sell cameras/film, and im planning on selling shirts. The issue i'm having though it Setting up shipping for each is impossible. The film lab I want the options to pay flat rate for shipping, dispose of the negatives, pay for me to drop them off if they're local or let them pick them up. The cameras I want just a shipping cost, drop off, or pick up option, and for the shirts i'll be using printful and need
  5. Site URL: http://www.anchoredshrimp.com Will per item shipping rates ever be an option on Squarespace? My shop currently has two shipping options for seafood items. ($25 Flat Rate Ground and $45 Flat Rate Air.) I can't use the carrier calculating shipping because the real cost of shipping 20lbs perishable packages is indeed costly. (I do add shipping cost to the overall price of my items.) This way of setting up my store makes it so I can never have sell small items or merchandise. I would LOVE the option if a customer wanted to buy just a T shirt for $15 it would
  6. Site URL: https://www.guyhepnereditions.com/ Hi all! Does anyone know of any work arounds or shipping integrations what work well with Squarespace that offer multi-origin shipping? Or a way to assign a specific shipping option to specific products? A client I built a website for is an art gallery that ships various artworks and products from different locations around the world. For example: The gallery is located in NYC, however many of it's collaborators and artists are based in Europe - sometimes the products that we have available in e-commerce need to ship from an artist's stu
  7. Site URL: https://www.thereactoriscritical.com/ So, I've noticed this same issue before with letters, but I'm finding the same deal pop up way more often now that I've started shipping one of our new items with large flat envelopes, and a lot more people are asking what's going on. Whenever I try to ship an order as either a First Class envelope or First Class large flat envelope, Shipstation/Stamps.com doesn't provide us a tracking number for it. Squarespace, however, does, and I don't know how or where it's getting it, and the number it provides to customers doesn't actually work when
  8. Site URL: http://www.exceedfootwear.com Hi, When adding a product to cart (on my store) shipping costs show my £30 option for out with UK shipping. I also have an £11 next day option which isn't shown until I add in the postcode. Is there a way to show the £11 more popular option (used 99% of the time) first before showing an unattractive ("Shipping £30") at first. Thank you
  9. Site URL: http://joyfulblooms.com.au Hi all, I predominately sell singular items on my website, but I am creating a ‘build your own gift box’ category on my website. The way I have set it up is that the customer selects all of the items they want to include in their gift box. Currently the shipping on my website is set up by weight, so as each gift box item goes into the cart it is increasing the shipping amount... However I am wondering if there is a way that I can create one shipping amount for anything from that category, no matter how many items the customer selects
  10. Dear Circle Members I am working on a project for a client. This project includes an online store which contains items which should be limited in shipping to certain countries only. Is there a way to ensure that certain products are only shown for visitors from specific countries and also only shipped to certain countries? Thank you very much for your responses in advance!
  11. Hi, I'm working on setting up my commerce site through Squarespace and I'm wondering how you all calculate your shipping costs for the world? I sell products of all sorts of different sizes and weights. Setting costs for different weights based on every country's shipping zone in the world would be way too much work. I currently have shipping zones for Canada and the US, but past that, how should I set up shipping costs for the rest of the world? The options I've thought of are: 1. Don't allow shipping to those countries. Let the customer know that they will have to contac
  12. Site URL: https://www.lozidesigns.com I run a furniture business based in London UK and we are slowly making flat-packed versions of all our products for shipping. These boxes are going to vary wildly in weight and size and we are not going to be able to group products together for easier shipping due to the nature of our products. Is there a way to either integrate UPS from the UK or to assign a fixed shipping rate to each individual product variant? Trying to manage this by creating wildly varyng weights is unlikely to work.
  13. I have a client whose Shipstation needs to be reset and re-synced manually after every sale, and still every item shows as Pending until manually changed. I have tried to help her, but everything on the back end of both Squarespace and Shipstation seem to be set up properly. Is anyone else having issues with this sync -- I can't seem to find any help from Squarespace on how to get this issue resolved. As far as I understand, the goal is that Shipstation automatically marks as fulfilled and syncs tracking info after the label is printed etc. But that's not the case .. any help?
  14. How do you deal with partial shipments? I have some items coming from Printful, and some items I am fulfilling myself. In this case, how do you notify the customer about partial shipments and tracking?
  15. Does anyone have any idea how much smaller (like exactly.... .25"? .5"?) products need to be than the available box sizes in carrier calculated shipping (Advanced Commerce)? I have a client who ships some items in their own packaging... so the product size is technically the same as the custom box size that I input in the Shipping tab. We've discovered that we're having issues getting the system to recognize that a 10x10x2 product can fit in a 10x10x2 box... let alone combining 2 or more smaller products with dimensions adding up to any of the 10x10x2... but I can't just run trial and err
  16. Is there a way to create a shipping profile that is essential all countries except the US and Canada? Do I actually need to manually add 242 countries, or is there a way to exclude 2? Thanks!
  17. I am working to setup real-time carrier shipping for my products, but I'm not completely clear on what weight and dimensions I should be using. 'Shipping Weight' and 'Packing Dimensions' are specified, but the descriptions of each aren't clear. I am using USPS Priority Mail shipping. Should I: Use the weight and dimensions of my actual product not including the packing materials or box? Use the weight and dimensions of my product including the packing materials and box? Do something else? Thanks in advance for any expertise you can lend.
  18. Site URL: http://www.silentseasonmusic.com Hello, I am setting up the shipping details for my store on SquareSpace and need guidance. We're a rock band selling physical cds and t-shirts and receive many orders from the U.S. and internationally. 1) Understanding SquareSpace only calculates rates for the U.S., can I use the 'USPS Real-Time Fates' functionality along with the weight or flat-rate feature for all other countries? I'm trying to get a sense on how businesses handle shipping for both domestic and international orders? Thanks, David
  19. Site URL: http://shop.chenebleu.com/ Password: SandraCB URGENTLY need help or an answer to this please. @paul2009 you seem to have extensive knowledge on ecommerce. As you will see we are selling wine and gift products. The major issue we are having is with how shipping costs are calculated. If the customer buys a bottle of wine and one or two gift items SQS adds the weight of all the items together and uses that as the cost. The only way we can see to combat this is to work out every single combination a customer could potentially buy and allocate a specific rate to that weight, b
  20. Site URL: https://heartpainter.com/ Any recommendations for shipping integration, based on experience? Shippo, ShippingEasy, and ShipStation all look like good candidates.
  21. Site URL: https://ottothemogul.squarespace.com/config/commerce/shipping Hi, I am trying to figure out how to set up the dimensions of my clothing products. My site keeps saying the products are oversize. I have my dimensions as follows: L:28 X W:37 X H:28 for t-shirts (and etc. by category) wherein the length and height are the same. Could this be the problem? Does it want the height of the t-shirt from top to bottom? Or does it want the height based on thickness of product when folded or flat in the shipping package? I'm confused about what values to put in the height section for my clothin
  22. *Is there a way to assign custom shipping price for different sized items? I sell paintings - various sizes from small to large. Using the weight and size tool doesnt seem to work as canvases are usually the same weight if they are a similar size. Is there a way to assign a rate to large works, medium works and small works that doesnt allow the customer to select it at checkout? I am concerned people will just pick the cheapest shipping price when realistically will cost me a lot more. * a newbie to ecommerce by the way!
  23. Site URL: https://mccallsmarket.com I have pick up and delivery options and the shipping keeps defaulting to “pick up.” How can I change this to default to delivery? If one is free and the other has a dollar amount, does it regardless default to the free option?
  24. Has anyone found a way to allow customers to get a shipping estimate prior to checkout? (preferably on the product page or in the cart) Currently a customer has to enter their email and go through most of the checkout process before getting the shipping price. Most research shows that this is a major factor in abandoned carts. Many smaller websites have this feature and it is surprising to me that squarespace has not added such a basic ecommerce feature.
  25. Site URL: https://www.survivaltechniques.co.uk/shop Hello! I am moving my shop over to Squarespace from BigCartel and can't find a way to register the correct shipping for my products. I sell a range of paintings, prints and canvas bags which have a big range of shipping prices, ie a painting is going to cost a lot more to send than an A3 print. I can only find an option to set shipping rates by weight or flat rate, neither of which work as customers often buy a combination of products, which each need to be packaged separately. Is there a way I can set a shipping rate per product
