  1. Is anyone getting this error from Google Search Console? Either "offers", "review", or "aggregateRating" should be specified Looking into it I found some workarounds in other CMS but not for Squarespace. Any answers or workarounds? Thanks!
  2. Site URL: https://thisisaspace.com/ Hello! It's been over a month and my site's SEO still won't update on google search. I site indexed and submitted a site map etc and still nothing will update. 1st image is how it shoes up and 2nd is how it should show up. Thank you!!
  3. Site URL: https://www.cottoncashmerecathair.com/ I have discovered via search console that Google is indexing my archive pages, categories, and tags over individual blog posts, which means my site is not showing up in search results when it should be. How can I tell Google not to index those pages and instead index the blog posts? I read in other posts here that you can inject code, but how do I inject code for pages that aren't in my navigation? I also know about canonical links but they confuse me; is that something I do in search console? How does one go about setting those? Any insight/tips would be much appreciated!
  4. Site URL: http://www.marleyshouseofsport.com I've been duplicating pages on my website to make building things a bit easier but notice that in the options under SEO there's not an option to change the SEO site title on my duplicate pages. Now this granted is in my members only section (which is not live yet because I'm still deciding on whether to pay for it and have one or not...) but I'm not sure if this is the reason I can't change it. Does anyone have any input on this. It's not really relevant to this post since you can't see the pages on the site in question but just in case the access password is: accessgranted77
  5. Site URL: https://sc.nz/ I have been asked by a client to quote for improving the SEO for a website. One part is to improve the page speed especially on mobile. I can do things like decrease the image size, remove images, simplify the fonts and review any custom code. I am wondering if there is a speed difference between Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1? Has anyone assessed this? Cheers, Brent
  6. Site URL: https://www.howirollfilmlab.com/ Hi everyone it's my first time attempting to get my SEO in order and to say the least, it's quite confusing. The main issue at the moment is that I don't know why all these random words are appearing below my site title. Any help would be great. Thanks.
  7. Site URL: http://www.moderncatering.no Hello, Can someone help me with this problem. Im working on SEO of my webpage and one of aspects that can rank you higher on google search and that your page is more visible is that your Local businesses is correct and dosent miss any segments. Now i did check if i field up everything on Squrespace correct and i did but its still missing. I did some coding as well with https://schema.org/ for Local businesses and then i got that my webpage have everything necessary but the problem its that Shema from Squerespace its still there. You can see that on https://search.google.com/test/rich-results if you check my webpage link moderncatering.no. I did talk briefly with support from Squerespace and they was really surprise that engineers didnt saw that problem and they will take a look. So im checking here if some of you have some solution for that problem.
  8. SEO is all about doing what you can to ensure your content is a top result in searches for relevant keywords. Solid SEO copy helps your intended audience find your site in the first place, pulling in those most likely to engage with your content and convert from visitors into customers. Working on your SEO copywriting is a great way to ensure your site ends up in front of the people who need or want it the most. Ultimately, you want to create content that is useful to your customers. An easy way to get started is by researching what customers are asking you specifically (via your customer service or socials) or what people are asking Google about your keywords. You can do this by searching a related keyword and looking at the ‘People also ask’ box. Once you know what information would be most useful, take the time to outline your content. This will help you keep your writing focused and avoid losing your readers through superfluous tangents. Consider using questions as headers where you can, to enforce the idea that you are providing answers. What have you found most impactful when tackling SEO copywriting? 9. Site URL: https://www.oakpw.com/ Hello everyone, so I have this website oakpw.com. I use SEM Rush, a tool we use to measure the effectiveness of SEO on a website. I have 11 pages that it keeps coming back with that are being blocked from crawling. I’m not exactly sure how to fix this issue. I’m not a Squarespace expert, but I do know how to navigate through the CMS and such. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! 10. Site URL: https://baldwinhillcemetery.org/ Hi, We have recently published our site, yes cannot get it to show up (at least not consistently) in google searches. We do show up fine when searching directly (site:). Google apparently is collecting analytics, etc. Not sure what sort of troubleshooting to perform, or whether this just takes time. As an example of the issue: if you type 'baldwin hill cemetery' which is literally the title of the website and the domain, it doesn't show up in results. It did show up once as result 4 or 5, but next time I tried it was gone again. Any advice appreciated.
  11. Site URL: https://www.itsseunshokunbi.com/ Hey community! Looking forward to reviewing some of your websites - I'm new to this but hope I provide advice that's helpful. Please check out my new personal website and tell me your thoughts on (1) attractiveness, (2) clear call-to-actions, (3) relatable content, (4) effectiveness in driving lead generation and SEO traffic. 12. https://www.skp.com.sg/ My website is using a 3rd party filter system which is universal filter. As a result, different category product pages are not indexed as Google Search Console sees it as a (duplicate) Alternate page with proper canonical tag. Please find attached screenshot for Google Search Console error. So for example, Biodegradable products is seen as an alternate page of the main category page https://www.skp.com.sg/food-packaging-all?category=Biodegradable https://www.skp.com.sg/food-packaging-all Solution by Google: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/139066 Can someone explain how do i make Google Search Console to index these (supposedly duplicate/alternate) pages? (I believe this is hurting my SEO keywords ranking) Is this caused by AJAX loading, if so can how can i solve this while enabling AJAX loading? (Can this be solved by adding a dynamic JSON-LD to each category filter?)
  13. Hi, I am using the OM template with an events page where I create events with a thumbnail image for each of them. Just found some of them in the search engine results. I am looking for a way to prevent the thumbnail images for each event on my site from showing up in search engine results. Any ideas or tips on how I can prevent that? Thank you in advance.
  14. Hi there. I've noticed that on the blog pages where all the posts are listed all the titles on the blog are created using H1 tags. That means on a page where you have four blog posts you will have: 1. Page title H1 2. Four blog posts each with H1 What should be happening is that the blog posts are being listed with H2 tags. As there is no way to set the H level on the title of a blog post this is a change that needs to be made at the design/template level. But frankly should probably have been included as part of the blog code natively. Has anyone come up against this type of issue Thanks
  15. Site URL: https://www.seaforestation.com/ Hi! I dont know why when I search for seaforestation google links directly to the about us of my page. How I can change to the home? any ideas? I also seen that some websites has some buttons there to link to different parts of their website, is that something possible with squarespace? Thank you!
  16. Site URL: https://www.allisterfreeman.co.uk Hi there, been methodically going through my site making changes my seo software is flagging up. It's showing two h1 tags on pages, looking at the source there's an h1 applied to the logo file on the site (not using text logo) in addition to the page heading. <h1 class="logo"><a href="/"><img src="//static1.squares... I'd love to be able to get rid of it, anyone had any success here? Any pointers appreciated! Al
  17. Site URL: https://takai.works Hi there, When you visit my website, you'll see four of my portfolio links. I disabled clicking those using the advanced javascript editor. However, the pages still show up on search engines (i.e., Google) since they're technically still active. Those page names are: /gallery/last-login /gallery/and-then-i-got-famous /gallery/irl /gallery/ethnic-aisle Any way I can disable those pages from showing up on search engines? Thank you!

  19. Site URL: https://www.bondprosper.com/london-property-market Title says it all, How do you add Image Alt Text to Section Backgrounds? For example, on my London page, the first image is a background image of St Pauls Cathedral. https://www.bondprosper.com/london-property-market
  20. Site URL: https://www.fulcrumdiligence.com Hi everyone, I hope someone can help! I have moved this site from wordpress to squarespace, added it to Google Search Console (both http and https versions), ensured all the 301 redirects are working and asked it to recrawl a number of times. However, it it still showing info from the old site? However, when I click on "more results from fulcrum diligence" all the links that then show up are from the new site. Is there anyone that can help me fix it please? Thanks very much in advance!
  21. Site URL: https://myweldingyard.com/best-tig-welder Hi, I am a welder and I have kicked a blog on wordpress while hiring some freelancers online. Recently I have seen square space adv which was compelling and illustrating that squarespace is easy for a person who is not so technical about web. What if I decide to move to this platform will all of my work remain intact or I have to start from the beginning? Will I have any edge over my competitors ? Thanks
  22. Site URL: https://www.komododigital.co.uk/ Hi everyone, I'm having massive issues with 302 temporary redirects at the moment. I assume at one point the company I work for transferred from one domain to another or changed the site around. The problem is that I have recently audited my site on SEMrush and it has shown that there are 980 302 redirects. I have followed all the advice from Squarespace for the redirects and it still isn't working. For example, I have tried /agency-approach -> /approach 301 and tried to do the bulk redirect e.g. /insights-and-resources/[name] -> /insights/[name] 301 I have had a senior developer look into this and the folks at SEMrush and none of them seem to know the solution. I am aware that 302 redirects aren't the end of the world, however, 980 of them cannot be good for the sites health. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
  23. Site URL: https://www.crozetpizzacville.com Does anyone else act as a Google My Business agency to manage multiple clients via the platform? I am trying to set up Location Management / Google My Business via SQSP for my clients for ease of maintenance after I set them up, since I won't be continuing to maintain their GMB presence. However there seems to be no way to add them from an agency (only the original owner). I have reached out to support and we'll see what they say, just wanted to see if any pros had feedback. Thanks!
  24. Site URL: https://www.excelquestions.com Hi all, So, i've built a site. Set up all the analytics and spent loads of time on google URL checker to get my site indexed and all the errors cleared up. I have SEO software. I have weaved some long tail keywords into my site and my SEO audit is saying my site is of good quality (not excellent but give it time!) I started on Thursday the 1st. My site is crawled and everything I want to be indexed is indexed. Next thing I want is my keywords in the top 100. I have none yet and I want to know my starting point. I know the battle to the top 10 will be tough but I would imagine ill get some in the top 100 by fluke and some of the SEO ive done already? So my question is, how long on average does it take to start seeing your top 100 ranked keywords in the URL checker? Cheers, Tom
