  1. Site URL: https://www.footballerscorner.com/ Hi there, I have created two rows of image blocks with 3 image blocks per row. However the top row images are a different size to the bottom row images and this doesn't seem to change even when I edit the size of the image itself. Any ideas?
  2. Site URL: https://www.churchfieldhousesnorfolk.co.uk Hi, I am using the Maple template and am wishing to insert a banner on an index page, and to be able to make the banner shorter on that particular page. As currently the banner picture takes up the whole screen. Is there any way this would be possible? Thanks
  3. Site URL: http://www.get-ripe.com Hi Friends, Thanks in advance for any support. I'm struggling trying to resize the banner sizes for my website www.get-ripe.com in CSS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to resize the banner on all pages except for the Digital Sessions & Blog page. Again, I appreciate you! Have a great weekend! Megan
  4. Site URL: https://www.mikelynchhomes.com/mls-home-search Site psd: LynchPreview I need to insert html for a real estate agent client who has an MLS Search embedded into their site. I create the code block in squarespace just like you normally would, then I paste in the custom html. The code block does not change size so it only shows a small window vertically. (html pasted below). I reached out to Squarespace support and they told me that the code block resizes to whatever code is being dropped in. Then I reached out to the vendor who provided the html for the MLS search/IDX integration and they told me their search will resize to whatever size space you are putting it into. I can change colors and sizes but I can't write code so I'm hoping someone has figured out a solution to this? HTML that I'm dropping in: <iframe src="https://matrix.recolorado.com/Matrix/public/IDX.aspx?idx=aed52ee9" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"></iframe> Thanks in advance!
  5. Site URL: https://almar-demo.squarespace.com/ Hi, I'm new to squarespace and am frustrated there is no indication I can find anywhere for an image size. I am using the template Almar and simply want to know what PPI dimensions are for the background image. Every image I try is resized no matter what I've tried. Is there somewhere I can find out how to save the image dimensions as so my images don't resize or change ??? (i.e. save your images as 1500X990 here) or whatever the dimensions are, nowhere to be found.... so annoyed. I watched all the stupid demo videos and there is nothing about simply replacing images in the same size format. I'm using photoshop and illustrator to create my own images. Finding this super annoying. Thx in advance
  6. Site URL: https://indigo-hexahedron-khcs.squarespace.com/shop I have food photography that has all been cropped consistently with the baking trays located in exactly the same position with the same whitespace to the left, right, top & bottom, however when the images are displayed on the shop grid sometimes they're cropped close, sometimes far. I've re-saved the files multiple times, ensuring all the source files are the exact same 1500sq original source. I can't see any rhyme or reason why they're being displayed so differently. It's so frustrating! On the screenshots you can see they display as they should in the thumbnails, and I've screenshot a photoshop file so you can see how I've ensured the tray placement is consistently the same across these five items. On another note, on the home page, the collaged images have a fade or opacity over the original images that I'd like to lose. Any ideas? And on a final note, the mobile version of the collaged images isn't great, is there anyway to change so the text block falls underneath the image rather than still trying to float on top? Site: https://indigo-hexahedron-khcs.squarespace.com/shop Password: boscotogo Thanks in advance for any help, Kyle
  7. Site URL: https://bernardandhawkes.com/the-library https://bernardandhawkes.com/the-library Hi, In the "Meet The Contributors" section (towards the end of the page) the 3rd image has a pattern behind it, it's saved as a transparent png, the two other images were aligning with the top of the pattern not the top of the image how I wanted it to. I added some padding on the other 2 images to get them to align and it does on one screen size, but if you make it smaller or larger they go out of line, Is there any way to have them aligned whatever the screen size? Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://www.getactive.cz/autem-kolem-islandu-po-rusnem-pobrezi-i-drsnem-vnitrozemi/2020/5/30/poloostrov-snaefellsnes Hi there, I'd like to ask you for help. I know that when you upload an image on website, Squarespace creates a few versions of that image and picks the appropriate image size based on the visitor's screen. My screen is 1920x1080 so when I upload an image in full size (2500x1667px) squarespace pick the image with dimensions 1500x1000px for my screen. It might be the reason why all my images in galleries and lightboxes looks blurry (just a little bit). They are sharp only when you open them in a new tab and click on zoom. So my question is - Is there any way how to fix it? Some css code? Maybe it could help if images would be displayed in their full size (2500x1667px) instead of 1500x1000px on screens with similar dimensions that I have, what do you think? Thanks for any advice! Michal
  9. Site URL: https://thepostvillage.com/ Hello, I came across a site using Brine ( https://thepostvillage.com/ ) and have been trying to figure out how they got the front page background video to not extend into the nav bar at the top while also leaving a gap / padding at the bottom. On the rest of their pages their banner images & videos extend into the nav bar, however. Digging into the index style options I haven't been able to recreate that look but also haven't found much CSS wise. How are they achieving that tidy crop?
  10. Site URL: https://weearnmedia.com Hi! I feel like this should be easy and I've seen similar queries on the forum, but everything I'm trying isn't working. Simple, I would like to add some code to hide the featured thumbnail image on every single blogpost page on the site. When you visit-- you see a HUGE image of our podcast guests's face, and it's just not aesthetically pleasing at all. Would love to ideally hide it forever while maintaining the ability to have a thumbnail image (so that it populates our homepage). Any ideas? Example blogpost: https://www.weearnmedia.com/episodes/michelle-rafter (help me get rid of these GIANT images!)
  11. Site URL: https://www.mike-scott.co.uk Hi, I'm creating a site on desktop and since it's a portfolio that's the main way it should be viewed, but if people do view it on mobile i'd rather it just reduced everything rather than be responsive in the way it currently works, i.e. cropping and moving things, but not resizing. I don't have an issue with the index page or the profile page and the way it adjusts for mobile, but If you click in to a project page for example https://www.mike-scott.co.uk/projects/studio-ageli you will see how, on smaller screens, it just crops into the images, so you lose a lot horizontally of course, but not vertically. All it would need is a way to constrain the proportions, either entirely or to a greater degree. I don't know if I'm describing this clearly, but one other way I was thinking of it is that, below lets say 1000px, for a project page, ideally it would resize each element to the width, and stack the elements like it currently does, whether image, text or space. So on a tall thin device like a mobile you'd see 3/4/5 images and text all at the same time. I'm not a coder, so if anyone can help or suggest ways to solve this problem please have a look. Any ideas? New to squarespace... thanks in advance! Mike
  12. I am working on a site for a client and just about everything resized appropriately for mobile, except for this poster block on the home page. I've found a few similar issues on this forum but nothing that fits this description exactly. I have tried the CSS codes in those forums and they did not work for me. So I wanted to see if anyone had a CSS code that might work for this issue? Both the title and the button are not on the image on mobile, and the text does not fit the image. Any suggestions for getting this to look on mobile as it does on desktop would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
  13. Site URL: https://lychee-hexagon-xtzb.squarespace.com/ Hello, I am very confused about Breaking points. I have a client who has a computer that's 4K and dimensions are 3840x2160 I am creating a site for him and the site looks good on a laptop but when it get's bigger it stretches out. Unfortunately I can't see what he means as I don't have the same screen size as him so I don't feel like I am equipped to design a site for a larger screen. I am learning more about coding and breaking points and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who knows a thing or two about how to have your content look the same across all screens. I read an article about something like using px instead of pixels and ems or something like that. I have no idea it's uncharted territory for me. Clients Site: https://lychee-hexagon-xtzb.squarespace.com/ Password: moretti If I can't solve It he might hire another designer. So I appreciate the help!

  15. Site URL: https://www.aindustria.pt/shop-online When I try to upload a picture of my bags\briefcases the template I use automatically resizes them and crops them to a specific dimension. I had to add a banner to the pictures so that they wouldn't appear cropped. How do I change the image template to the appropriate dimensions for the picture? The images attached show one picture with the banner the other picture without.
  16. Site URL: https://rust-giraffe-xcdz.squarespace.com hello, im super new to this so excuse my lack of knowledge, I am trying to increase the size of the logo on Barbosa theme. Is it possible to do this with custom css? thank you!
  17. So my landing page is basically a giant full-bleed photo with some text over it but in mobile view you can't even see the image and the text is basically a single column of one letter each. I know on 7.0 you used to be able to manipulate the Mobile View but there has to be a way of resizing the photo or changing the look simply for the mobile site without changing my full template right?? Please help :(
  18. Site URL: http://zhanamitkova.com/ Hey, I need help putting code to resize the text and image on mobile to appear smaller. 19. Site URL: http://somyahastekar.com http://somyahastekar.com How can I stop autosizing of text block on higher resolutions? On this website, right next to the profile picture there is text block that gets really big on higher resolution. It pushes all the content below it. On mobile it works fine. Please help.
  20. Hi there! I added image blocks to a page on my site. I wanted to have them cascading down so that the images blocks change side each time (alternating left and right as the page goes down). However, when the browser is resized slightly, or I view it on my mobile, the image blocks resize, the image is huge and the text no longer appears to the side of the block but only sequentially through the page. How do I prevent this resize from happening so that the text always appears next to the image and never above or below it? I have attached a couple sample images, one of how it should look, and the other of how it looks after being resized. Thank you in advance!
  21. I have a couple testimonial pictures (head shots) that are the perfect size when viewed on a computer screen but are huge when viewed on mobile devices. Is there a way to keep those photos a certain size when the page is viewed on mobile devices? Thanks!
  22. How do I make my logo smaller on just the mobile version in the avenue template? Anyone have css for that? Thanks!
  23. My code is: .summary-item { float: left !important; padding: 5px; height: 200px; width: 200px; } .summary-thumbnail { image-size: intrinsic !important; } My problem is that the container is 200 × 200, my image, however is not resizing properly to fit the content inside the container. How do I change the code so that the image fits the container and still maintains its aspect ratio without getting cropped? I have also set the height and width to content-fit and it doesn't work either. Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.
