  1. Site URL: https://www.visualreserve.com/nashville-covid19 I have one page on my site that uses roll-over images and doesn't really work well on mobile. Is there a way to either A) Make the roll-over work on mobile. It works, but you it gets confusing for the user the way it does. or B) Re-direct that one page to a different page that I make separately just for mobile users? Thanks!!!!
  2. I have added some code in my SquareSpace site that redirects users from certain countries to a completely different SquareSpace website (with an identical subject matter) - will there be any problems with this re: Google or anything else?
  3. I've seen a similar question asked around the forums, but I think my situation is a little more complicated which is why I haven't gotten anything to work correctly. I am also using the Skye template. I have two blogs, and for each blog I have set a unique logo in the header. Ideally, I'd like each unique logo to direct to a specific blog post. For example, the Wild Moon logo, when clicked, should go to the "Welcome to Wild Moon" post. I'm not sure how to implement a different link around the new logo, if it's even possible. The logo code is in the header section as such -
  4. Site URL: http://www.andrewsullivanmusic.com/tenyears Hello, On my page, http://www.andrewsullivanmusic.com/tenyears, I am wanting users to be redirected to another site (http://www.andrewsullivanmusic.com/one-time-offer-for-ten-years) after they add my $15 CD to the cart. The user clicks "add to cart," it says, "added!" and then the browser redirects to the next page. I found a plugin that supposedly makes this happen but it doesn't seem to work. I don't want this redirect on ALL products on my site. Only on this one particular item. Thanks for your help! Andrew
  5. Hello everyone, & thanks for taking a look at my inquiry! My website is www.fathomers.org, and we are attempting to remove the automatic underline placed on links for email & external / internal content. Currently, I have not linked anything, as the underline has deterred me. But, for reference, I have placed a link in the "Join Us" page, below "Opportunities". There you'll see a "Learn More Here" link that exemplifies the problem. I'd be much obliged if someone could crack this code! All the best,Eric
  6. Site URL: https://pumpkin-marlin-3wxs.squarespace.com/ Hi there, Still learning, but slowly getting the hang of CSS with help from these forums. I'm building a new website for my employer. I've set it up so we have a landing page, smooth-scrolls neatly down to three columns. It's perfect on desktop, but the three-column page looks way less ideal on mobile. The images are too compressed. I'd rather have a vertical stack of the logos & images.... like this> = I started playing around with the css so that it would hide the column 'sections' on mobile view only, and smooth scrolls down to another section of the page - but it's pretty messy, and I don't want to take the risk of it misbehaving. Wondering if it's possible to make another landing page just for mobile only, and have the website automatically redirect you there if you're on a mobile device? https://pumpkin-marlin-3wxs.squarespace.com/ Password: breathetest
  7. Site URL: https://www.%20anybodysautos.squarespace.com My website is going to showcase a gallery of featured vehicles from local car dealerships. What happens if the dealer sells that vehicle and takes down their product page? I'm betting that they don't actually delete those pages, but I can't count on them having their own redirect. Is there some kind of code that I can use on my website to avoid a 404 error when my link is about to take a viewer to my client's deleted page? Ideally, a viewer would click on a gallery image on my website, and if it's about to go to a deleted page on the dealer's website, the code would bypass a 404 error and take them to the dealership homepage. Thanks for any suggestions! p.s. You need a password if you visit my site: AutoSales
  8. Site URL: https://travellingtom.com/blog/5-best-places-to-stay-lake-district-staycation I have posted a link on a blog post on my website (https://travellingtom.com/blog/5-best-places-to-stay-lake-district-staycation - can be seen in second paragraph), but when I click it instead of it going to: https://uk.hotels.com/re1634621/hotels-in-lake-district-united-kingdom It goes through to the following. https://uk.hotels.com/re1634621/hotels-in-lake-district-united-kingdom?rffrid=aff.hcom.uk.002.003.2470763.cjaff.kwrd%3Dd6d10af4c07b11ea815a033d0a180513.CID%3D1556897.TYPE%3D416023&wapa6=kcc8p22giv02jhd40mydl&sub_publisher=2470763&sub_site=4003003&sub_ad=13831060 The post is for a brand who want a clean link, but for some reason it keeps clicking through to an affiliate link (and not one that I have added, either). Any ways I can fix this so that when I head through the URL stays as the first one?
  9. hello! ive been desperately looking around for a solution on redirecting the logo on my site to the homepage rather than the cover page. I made the cover page my homepage but I want it to be a one time thing. i want to make sure that when you click on my logo it redirects you back to the home page, not cover page. ive tried many header/footer injections and it sill does not work. It either leads me to the cover page again or google.com for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated! im using the tremont template i would post my website however it is unfinished. i could make it public for the sake of this form, but because it is unfinished i do not want other people outside this form to stumble upon it, if that makes sense.
  10. Site URL: http://www.biruvia.com Hello, I have what I thought should be a fairly easy task, but I can't find anything in the forwarding/pointing/redirecting articles in square space that covers this specifically. Here is what I'd like to do: Point/Forward/Redirect "swamimosa.com" to "biruvia.com/swamimosa" Both domains are managed through Squarespace and the website "biruvia.com" is hosted through Squarespace. I've gone into advanced settings for "swamimosa.com" and followed the instructions for adding a preset for "Forward Domain." I then add the URL "biruvia.com/swamimosa", but the website doesn't forward. If I set the Forward Domain from "swamimosa.com" to "biruvia.com" it does work, but I want to forward to a subdomain instead of a domain. How can I do this? Thanks!
  11. Site URL: https://sparkotechengineering.squarespace.com Password: customer 123 Good day, so I have my code which the function is to hide the price, quantity, Add to cart button and add a button to redirect it to Contact Us page. My concern is my code doesnt apply in my quick view page it only applies in the product page of the product item. ***Note: My main goal is to change the redirection of the "Add to cart button" into another page (Contact Us) but due to my beginner skills thats the only code that i produced. <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(function() { $("<a class='ordernow' href='/contact'>Request Now</a>").insertAfter(".sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper"); }); </script> <style> .product-quantity-input { display:none !important; } </style> <style> .ProductItem-details .sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper .sqs-add-to-cart-button { display:none !important; } </style> <style> .ProductItem .ProductItem-details .product-price { display:none !important; } </style> reference pictures: PIC 1 = product page PIC 2 = quick view
  12. Hi! I'm looking to move my homepage to a subdomain but keep all the other pages in tact. Meaning, I'd like to go from [myhomepage.com] to [mysubdomainhomepage.com], but keep [myhomepage.com]/blog in tact. How can I do this? Thanks!
  13. Site URL: http://www.dntl.co.uk Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help. I currently have a Portfolio / Gallery of images on my homepage and I'm trying to get one particular image in that gallery to link to the separate /shop section of my page rather than the current /work/merch which is currently pointing at. If I try to change the Slug in the settings / cog icon. I can only change the 'merch' part. It doesn't allow me select the entire line. If I play around with inspect on Google Chrome, all I need to do is change this: <a class="grid-item" href="/work/merch" id="yui_3_17_2_1_1592494658970_189"> to this: <a class="grid-item" href="/shop id="yui_3_17_2_1_1592494658970_189"> And I get the desired effect, but obviously that's not a permanent change. I've tried, using a extremely basic knowledge of coding, to inject some code but soon found out the YUI constantly changes and can't see a 'block-id' that pertains to this particular image. Is there any way around this? My client doesn't want the site live yet, so apologies that I can't show it. But hopefully I've been clear! Any help, much appreciated. Cheers, Ross
  14. Is there a way to automatically redirect my visitors to a different page in my site after they have filled out and submitted a form? I donโ€™t want the page to go to the generic โ€˜Thank youโ€™ message, but instead automatically go to a different page. Any thoughts?
  15. I'm working with a site that had had an invalid URL entered in it's RSS Replacement URL field - so when trying to access the RSS feed at the correct URL (sitename.com/slug?format=rss), it was redirecting to this invalid URL. I have now removed that URL and that field is now blank, but the RSS URL continues to redirect to that old, incorrect URL. Is it just a matter of waiting for the servers to update to remove this redirect, or is there something I'm missing?
  16. Hello, I have enabled customer accounts on my site. How can I edit the pre-made form that appears when a customer creates a new account? I want the "create account" button to redirect to a different page.
  17. Is there a way to preserve query parameters when redirecting URLs? For example, how do I redirect www.foo.com/index?query=bar to www.foo.com/blog?query=bar without losing the query param?
  18. Hello, I am fairly new in the Squarespace field, but am familiar with web builders. I am currently working with a friend to build his site out and one of the features we need to implement is a "conditional survey redirect". Example: Form (survey) has a small series of questions, and based on how the consumer answers the general survey, we can redirect / recommend "product a," "product b," or "product c." Simlar to how curology.com functions. Would we be able to use a custom code to achieve this?
  19. Site URL: https://www.jackrabbithill.com Hey, I am trying to inject some code that will re-direct customers who have completed a purchase to a "thank-you" page but am having no luck with it. I have injected some code into the 'Order Confirmation Page' portion of the code injection portion of the setting but it does not seem to re-direct to the thank you page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks (Here is the code that I have used to re-direct but doesn't seem to work) <script> var timer = setTimeout(function() { window.location='/thank-you }, 1000); </script>
  20. Site URL: http://bitstop.ca I was notified by Google today of a vulnerability on my website. On more investigation I found that the vulnerability is in the squarespace re-direct engine on the old versions of squarespace. http://bitstop.ca/process/Redirect?url=http://ministeriobetinho.com.br/popup_image1/screenshots.php/kpw/dvq/?island=ed1tvc0qq5v9fy5 You can see the above re-direct sends to an ad site and you can edit the url to really go anyplace you like. I reached out to Squarespace but wonder if anyone else has seen this issue or is aware of it?

  23. Site URL: https://natureinstitute.org/pub/ic/ic38/id.pdf Hey all, I work for a research institute that writes a lot of articles. We have a twice yearly journal and, for the last 10 years, we've just taken all those articles and uploaded them to our website as PDFs (the journal has a nice format so why not?). Of course those articles have then been linked from other sites and some of them have a quiet decent google rating. But now I'm building a new website on Squarespace and I was recently told that I can't upload those same articles on Squarespace as static PDFs and simply redirect the old URLs to them. I guess it's something about how static pages are stored within Squarespace. Anyways, this is a make-or-break issue for continuing with Squarespace as our articles are a big part of our website. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any workarounds for this? I thought of one possible one yesterday, but when I asked over at the help center I didn't understand their answer (I actually suspect the person didn't understand my question, but it could be the other way around...). My idea was to create dynamic pages of the articles on the new website and then redirect to them instead of static pages. We could also upload the articles as static PDFs so that people can still download them in that format and print them, but that doesn't have to be the only way ,or even the main way, that they live online. Do people think that would work? Are there any difficulties in directing the URL from a static page from my old website, to a dynamic page on my new one? (I've shared a link to one of the existing articles, but I can't share a link to the new site as it's not up yet) Thanks for any help you can offer!
  24. Site URL: http://www.walkingwithwhitney.com/download-landing-page Hey Everyone, I am creating a landing page for Facebook Ads that will allow a user to select a video provider to download a video on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon (http://www.walkingwithwhitney.com/download-landing-page). There are three download options on the landing page, upon clicking one, I've created a unique redirect page that I'm using to track the click throughs for each before launching the user to the appropriate platform for download. I've noticed that if I open the landing page on the Facebook or Instagram App (you can try it by going here via facebook https://www.facebook.com/walkingwithwhitney/?ref=bookmarks), the iTunes and GooglePlay automatic redirects don't work while the Amazon one does. I'm using this code for the redirect: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1; url='https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/walking-with-whitney-birth-to-3-months/id1152626974'"/> Anyone have any thoughts as to why this would work for Amazon but not for iTunes and GooglePlay?
  25. hi, I am currently stuck with the same old question, how can I redirect the title of the website the home page or a specific page instead of the cover page? I know the question has been asked and answered many times, I read everything and I tried copy-pasting suggested codes.. but it doesn't work and I am not sure what should be tweaked to make it work , so if someone could help me out with this one I would be thankful! I'm pretty fresh in all the coding so without your help would not be able to fix it :) thanks in advance! I'm using Wells template, Business plan. www.vladimirshahinyan.com
