  1. Site URL: https://www.sabustudio.com Hi, I have set up my navigation for desktop, it is all working as I want on desktop, although I am having issues with it on mobile device. On desktop I have integrate this code so the folders redirect to specific pages: <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.4.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/furniture-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/furniture"; }); $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/object-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/object"; }); $('.header-nav-folder-title[href="/lighting-folder"]').click(function() { window.location = "https://sabustudio.com/lighting"; }); Although, on mobile the folder navigation does not utilise the redirect link as it does on desktop, it just links to the folder contents. It currently goes as follows: I would like it to go: I am trying to remove/bypass the second hamburger menu page and instead wanting to use the redirect link. This enables better user experience for my product. I'm not sure if its possible to do this, but I imagine there would be a way to do this. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
  2. Site URL: http://www.thepicturestory.us Hey guys! Relative layperson here so go easy on me. I have a website currently, its: https://thepicturestory.us (hosted on Sqspace, domain by GoDaddy) I just also purchased a new domain at http://thepicturestory.ca (unhosted) Is there a way to map .ca to .us across entire site? Right now, the intended user journey comes through from http://thepicturestory.ca, which forward masks as https://www.thepicturestory.us/corporate-business-headshots but as user continues to navigate menus from there on, the link structure isn't updated. Everything is still masked as http://thepicturestory.ca Essentially, what i want to achieve is bring traffic in from http://thepicturestory.ca, and when they click thru on other links - have it reflect correct URL structure. A mirroring of sorts across both sites .US to .CA E.g. https://www.thepicturestory.us/blog to reflect also as https://www.thepicturestory.ca/blog Is it even possible? Sorry if unclear and Thanks in advance! - Jobo
  3. Site URL: https://microns-explorer.org/cortical-mm3 i have setup some redirects to help make shorter links on the page that are easier to share and maintain.. For example.. https://microns-explorer.org/mm3/bipolar_cells goes to https://ngl.microns-explorer.org/#!gs://microns-static-links/mm3/bipolar_cells.json those links seem to work fine when going to them directly, but when clicking them off of a page, they seem to work the first time they are clicked on and then don't the second time. https://microns-explorer.org/cortical-mm3 down the page in the cell-types section..
  4. Site URL: https://www.tigerbonesstudio.com/blog/brand-colors-quiz I have an interact quiz on my site that is suppose to redirect to specific pages on my site depending on the results of the user's answers. When I test the quiz on Interact it is working but on the actual site it is not working. Does anyone have experience with this or know what might be causing this?
  5. Site URL: https://foreverincrystal.com/customize-your-order I am working on a custom checkout process for a customer that allows their products to be customized with either a message or image on any selected product. After significant research and testing, I've determined that the best solution is to create a custom form (using getform) that the customer is redirected to after completing their checkout. I use the following script to redirect the user to the customize order form: <script> window.location.replace("/customize-your-order"); </script> Everything works great, the redirect happens correctly, and the form submissions appears and works when the fields are completed. The issue is that the user experience is not ideal. As a customer, I need to know my order number and other detailed to manually input them in the form. I'd like to pass the orderId to the customize-your-order form so that I can preload the fields for the user. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to pass the orderId to the custom squarespace page on redirect so that I can get the order details and preload them for the user? Side note, if anyone has any suggestions for a better way to add either a message or image a product, I am open to suggestions. The requirement is that if an image can be upload when selecting the product to add to the cart, that image must also be able to be changed in the shopping cart. I found that this is not possible leading me to my current approach.
  6. Site URL: http://www.benpeers.com/creative Hi all, I want to ensure clicking on the logo within my site does not direct the user back to the splash page. I did this by installing the following code in the header injection of each page: This method seemed to work for a few days and then it stopped working. Any help would be appreciated! :) Thank you
  7. Site URL: https://www.komododigital.co.uk/ Hi everyone, I'm having massive issues with 302 temporary redirects at the moment. I assume at one point the company I work for transferred from one domain to another or changed the site around. The problem is that I have recently audited my site on SEMrush and it has shown that there are 980 302 redirects. I have followed all the advice from Squarespace for the redirects and it still isn't working. For example, I have tried /agency-approach -> /approach 301 and tried to do the bulk redirect e.g. /insights-and-resources/[name] -> /insights/[name] 301 I have had a senior developer look into this and the folks at SEMrush and none of them seem to know the solution. I am aware that 302 redirects aren't the end of the world, however, 980 of them cannot be good for the sites health. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
  8. Site URL: https://turbot-lute-gtxh.squarespace.com/ Hello, I am trying to set it so that on my site, when member's log in, they are immediately redirected to the member's page. How would I go about doing that?
  9. Site URL: https://chameleon-krill-tryx.squarespace.com/contact Hello all! I currently have a photo that appears as a "redirect" after form submission. But I'd like the image to be smaller and I would like the background (the space surrounding the image) to be white instead of black. Screenshot of how the redirect appears now is attached. Many thanks for any help! (password: Gratitude)
  10. Site URL: https://www.grindngrowchicago.com/purchase-discount/p/2-week-fitness-blast-add-on Hi, I'm trying to find a way to send the user to the cart review page (not checkout where payment is taken page) after they hit add to cart on specific products. Is there a way to do that in the backend of squarespace or with custom code? I feel like this could be as easy as a url slug but within my backend of squarespace there is no page dedicated to shopping cart review before you click purchase so I'm not sure what to do at this point? If someone could help me with this issue and provided a solution or at least a place to start looking for one I would greatly appreciate it! Any and all ideas welcome for how I might achieve!!!
  11. Hello, I am trying to automatically redirect to a different page after purchasing a specific product. All of the code I can find redirects to a different page for all products in a shop. We're trying to figure out if this can be applied to a single product only? Thank you!
  12. Site URL: http://www.carrandcompany.co In my top nav, "Services" and "Clients" link to anchors on my "About" page. The URLs are "https://tortoise-drum-aj9y.squarespace.com/about#services" and "https://tortoise-drum-aj9y.squarespace.com/about#clients", respectively. After these links load, they immediately flip to: "https://tortoise-drum-aj9y.squarespace.com/config/". Not sure why. Is there a way to make "carrandcompany.co/services" and "carrandcompany.co/clients" work? Would appreciate any help!

  14. Site URL: https://www.thesoaresprotocol.com/ Hi guys! So I am trying to redirect my "Newsroom" link in my homepage menu to my blog. The issue is...the settings in the page won't let me change the slug to point towards the blog because of the /home portion of the URL. Is there a way to point this link to the blog? (https://www.thesoaresprotocol.com/newsroom) Thank you!
  15. Site URL: http://shop.sansminds.com i have trouble with my shop domain. my root domain I bought on Squarespace is [ www.sansminds.com]. I have created a subdomain as well [shop.sansminds.com] and would like to forward it to my Shopify store. However, when I set up shop.sansminds.com as a primary domain on Shopify I get an error page for redirected too many times. How do I properly connect a subdomain from another provider to my shopify store? I would like my Shopify store domain how as [shop.sansminds.com]
  16. Hi all! I'm wondering if its possible to redirect the clickable link attached to the product on the 'shopping cart' page to redirect to another page on my site. Reason being, I made my website so that people are not shopping on the shopping page directly, but i've designed a separate page where they can still shop the product because the shopping page can only allow for so much layout customization. When people click the product on the shopping cart page it directs them to the shopping page that I don't want them to go to. If anyone can help me with redirecting the link that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance
  17. I'm trying to redirect my website title to my portfolio page rather than my cover page (set as my homepage) due to the 7.1 update. I need the function to work on both desktop and mobile but none of the code's I've tried have worked so far. Does anyone have an alternative solution? I've tried the below four options already with no luck: 1) <script> document.querySelector('.header-title-logo a').setAttribute('href', 'https://ttps://beaverhero.com'); </script> 2) <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('.header-title a').attr('href','https://beaverhero.com'); }); </script> <script> document.querySelector('.header-title-logo a').setAttribute('href', '/PAGENAME'); </script> 3) <script> document.querySelector('.header-title-logo a').setAttribute('href', '/PAGENAME'); </script> 4) <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('.header-title-logo a').attr('ttps://beaverhero.com'); }); </script>
  18. Site URL: https://www.81monkeys.com/ I'm attempting to put our app-ads.txt (similar to ads.txt) on our site for our mobile app. Sadly Squarespace does not allow or support adding files to the root directory. This is a huge problem for app developers! I've found a work around, where you basically, upload the file to a page, find the unique URL for the file, and then redirect to the file by creating a page with the slug app-ads.txt. The problem with this solution is that Squarespace does not allow me to make a slug with a (.) period in it. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks!
  19. Site URL: https://www.mermade.sk Hi. I would like to accomplish this kind of behaviour on my site: 1. visitor finds a product 2. visitor hits the Add to Cart 3. after that, it redirects the visitor back to main shop site
  20. Site URL: https://aicmuganda.com/sponsor/nantajja-noah I am trying to redirect the add to cart button (in our case, the "sponsor this child" button) from page 1 to page 2 rather than the product adding to the cart and allowing the customer to checkout on our site. It is important that this button DOES NOT add the product to the cart because the customer will be redirected back to the site once they have finished checking out. Ultimately, we need the customer to use this alternative system because we are a non-profit that needs to send information that Squarespace does not provide to the customer for tax purposes. Page 1: https://aicmuganda.com/sponsor/nantajja-noah Page 2: https://agapeinternationalchildrensmin.givingfuel.com/sponsor?staffId=B-191. THANK YOU!!!
  21. Site URL: https://nordicbackyard.com/ I need help with linking subpages to home page. As you can see on our page we have on the home page several articles / blog post. We want these to link to the sub pages on the different categories. Example: 1. We upload a blog post on for example https://nordicbackyard.com/norway/8-reasons-to-visit-norway 2. So if you visit the Norway sub page on the website you can see this blog post. 3. We also want the article (8 reasons to Visit Norway) to be featured on the front page, and if you click it, it will take you to /norway/8-reasons-to-visit-norway. Does anyone have a solution to get it like that? The only way we have figured out yet is to duplicate files, but that wont be ideal.
  22. Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to solve a problem that I find quite difficult. The website I'm designing will need to have some part of it that will be location specific. Ideally, I'd like to have a solution that would allow me to have a link like this: www.example.com/au for all the australian users and www.example.com/uk for united kingdom users. Is ther something I can do? what other options do you guys reccomend? I'm happy to invest money in plugins or similar solutions. Thank so much for your time Gio
  23. Site URL: https://www.maineinternet.community My site is hosted elsewhere and the platform requires I add the www subdomain, which is fine with me. However, I want the root domain to automatically redirect to the www subdomain. All the settings I have tried do not work. The help instructions assume I am redirecting a subdomain and not the root. How to I get things set so using maineinternet.community results in landing at www.maineinternet.community instead of producing an error the way it does now?
  24. Site URL: https://www.eatturmeric.ca/subblytest Hello, We are integrating an external cart system called subbly. When we click the "add to cart" button on this page, it is supposed to add to the subbly cart and re-direct back to /subblytest. This works in all browsers but chrome. Chrome instead re-directs to homepage when we click "add to cart". Any idea why we see this behaviour only in chrome and is there a solution? Cheers, Ash
  25. I have a second store setup for members only. It is not a product but an investment so when they select the type of investment (barrel investment) and "add to cart" I need it to redirect to a different site (jotform) to authorize a bank transfer. If there is a better way, perhaps allowing them to add the "item/investment" to the cart and once they click "checkout" it will redirect them. I added the available barrels as a service. Any suggestions?
