  1. Site URL: https://www.hudsonvalleyrbern.org/ I recently updated our header background image with the attached file. I even resized it to the recommended 1500px. No matter what I do, the image is blurry. This is the first time this has happened and wasn't an issue when I updated to the winter photograph in September last year. Any suggestions? It's always been crisp in the past.
  2. Site URL: https://gregorylassale.com/ Hello, My website has been up for a few years but I recently decided to make a few tweaks. I would love as much feedback as you're willing to give on overall aesthetics, use of white space, element sizes, flow, ease of use, hierarchy and pretty much anything you're willing to comment on. There are two visual bugs I know of but have no fix for. 1. For a split second after loading, the text on the homepage is first displayed toward the top of the screen before jumping to the center. I contacted Squarespace about this a while back but they offered
  3. Site URL: https://www.steveneveleigh.com/ Hello, I’m a UK based Counsellor and would appreciate any feedback you can provide on my website. My aim is to come across friendly and approachable and offer someone a space where they can talk about their difficulties. I hope I’ve provided a welcoming home page, along with information about what people can expect from counselling. I’ve followed this with more information about me, my experience and qualifications. I’m hoping that people can relate to me? And will want to choose me as their counsellor. Do you feel that the site is wel
  4. Site URL: https://www.autofreshagri.tech/ When I try to use my animated landing page from a youtube video, the quality is terrible on my website but HD on Youtube? I'd like to use the video as an alternative to .GIF file for the banner but this is a serious issue.
  5. Site URL: https://www.snjc.world/nft-cards Hello! Squarespace is highly recommended for artists and designers but each time I've tried to upload some images on my website, it shows no details and look extremely soft. I don't even think it's something to do with compression cause I've tried to embed some high res images from a storage system out of squarespace and they still look the same. The website just seems to display low res images. Does anyone found a solution to prevent that ? I'm uploading some high quality pics but it doesn't change anything. The only "fake" solution
  6. Site URL: https://spinach-keyboard-w7ws.squarespace.com/ Hello! All the header images on the site I'm building are displaying in bad quality on mobile. It wasn't like this before. I think it happened around a week ago. Could it be something with the new Squarespace update (when all text links also got underlined)? I have optimised the images for web (around 500kb in size and between 1500-2000px in width) The images are sharp on desktop (but it I shrink the browser window to "mobile size", the header image displays in bad quality) See attached screenshots.
  7. Site URL: https://caitlin-donahue.squarespace.com/dark-theme The images are rendering blurry on my site. I have tried everything - they are the correct size, resolution. I have outlined the text, made sure the the ratios are right. I do have some custom css on my site, but it doesn't help if I delete it all either. Any advice?? I have attached one of the image files here as well
  8. Site URL: https://www.sharelife.plus/ Would be interested in any feedback you folks could provide on my site The saas product is in development -- the current objective is to collect "early adopter" email addresses I've been advertising on Google and have an okay CTR -- Conversion Rate is Okay -- but i'd like to improve my conversion rate I don't want to hard sell -- rather respect people who generally would be > 30 years old and have some experience I believe establishing trust is needed -- are there obvious things i could add or delete? Anything small? Obvious?
  9. Site URL: https://www.seantehdesigner.com/work/twc4th Hi is there a way to force the embedded YouTube video to load at a high quality. My videos have looked terrible and its very frustrating to have to troubleshoot this product I've paid for. I've read this post and tried to remedy: https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/151079-how-do-i-display-background-video-in-hd-only Where some users have successfully done this for Vimeo videos. But I can't fix mine. I can't afford Vimeo Pro (which is required for embedding) and also note that I have a Squarespace personal account which doesn't
  10. Hi, How do I add a video link but only play it at full resolution and remove the YouTube logo and the up-next videos? I've added a 1080 to Youtube but it plays back on the squarespace site at low res with the nasty youtube logo and up next video list at the end.
