Hi there, I am using custom CCS site wide to alter my font to Suisse. I am noticing however that on my Portfolio pages, some of the fonts remain as the default preset. In particular, at the footer of each Portfolio page, the 'Previous' & 'Next' font. How do I change this to my 'Suisse' font please? Thanks!

Hey Squarespacers! I'm taking my chances that there's someone with more coding experience than me that can help me customize a Squarespace portfolio template. What I want to keep: A portfolio landing page section with a paragraph of text where some words are links leading to the full project. See my website at sofiawiklander.com or ref image 1. What I need help with: I want unique full-bleed gifs or videos to appear whenever I hover over one of the links in the landing page paragraph. (See ref gif) The simplest solution I can come up with is to create a "Portfolio page" with the layout Hover: background (see ref img 2) and customize the project links into a paragraph like the one on my current website, but I'm open to other ways too.

I like the image effect on my home page (clear, zoom increase when hovered) but they link to a Project/Portfolio page instead of a Navigation Page. Have tried changing the My question is: - How do I keep the effect of this (zoom when hovers over) but link it to a Site Page not a Project Page? - Is it possible to delete the Project Pages without removing the effect on the Home Page? *Site is password protected, message me for password Image 1: Current Home layout. Want to keep this with the hover zoom increase effect Image 2: Where I want the 'About' Goldie image link to go (About - Page Version) Image 3: When you click on the Goldie image, however, it takes you here. I understand they are two different types of 'Pages' but its really annoying I know the basics of coding so if someone could dumb it down for me that would be great thank you!

the only way to change the size of the images displayed in my portfolio page is by increasing the number of columns, which i can only set to 4. i'd like to have the thumbnails in the image be the size that they're showing with 4 columns, but only have 3 columns.

Hey all! So, this site: https://andyrobertscreative.com/ Has videos in it's portfolio! Which I have been trying to do for ageees. Using inspect I've been able to see that they've somehow attached .sqs-video-background to those projects and that somehow it makes a video iframe appear with a fallback image while it's loading. Can anyone figure out how they've got this working and help? I'm getting pretty desperate. Thanks so much in advance!

Hi, I'm using a portfolio page that has the side by side grid layout. How can I round the corners of the images? I would like it to be consistent with my other images that allow rounding corners.

Hi, I recently added a "video layout" page. I wanted to be able to view all my videos, but also to categorize them, so by choosing one category, only videos from selected category are shown - this works great. However when I click on a particular video thumbnail, a separate page with that video is opened, where editing it is very limited. I am only able to add a description, while I would like to add additional video or photos related to the video. I can't add any new section or element. Is there any possibility to be able to edit each video's own page? Otherwise I would have to use different page layout - but I cant find any other with categorizing my works. Will be grateful for help

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to adjust the opacity of my background on my portfolio page for my site. it seems to automatically set the opacity to around 15% and there is no obvious way to adjust it. Is there some code i can try that will set the opacity to 0 so the image is completely solid? Thanks

Can you randomize the portfolio layout? so that the projects load in a different order on reload of the "portfolio" page.

Hi there - I'm essentially trying to mimic a portfolio page with a gallery regarding the overlay/text hover function but I can't figure out how to do that nicely. I have the main portfolio page laid out but I also need specific project category pages but I don't want to create another portfolio because I need them to be able to link to the same project page (I don't want two pages for the exact same project). TLDR; I want to recreate this page: https://www.tuckersadler.com/projects/civic to have this style (with the text/color overlay on the hover): https://www.tuckersadler.com/squarespaceprojectstest pw: tuckersquarespace but to create it as either a gallery or just image blocks since we aren't able to nest portfolios and I don't want duplicate project pages with different urls. I hope that wasn't too muddled. Any help would be so appreciated!

I'm still in the trial period and don't want to get too far into this if I can't make this work. I am building this site for a client (and websites aren't really what I do), and he is scaling back his publishing business. I want the site to look like the commerce pages but don't want/need the cart function. I want to direct buyers directly to the books on Amazon. I tried the Gallery and Portfolio page options instead, but can't figure out how to add text/descriptions/sections to the sub-pages. There will be 35-40 books/products. Forgive my ignorance, but am I missing something? This is my trial domain: koi-halibut-jfpr.squarespace.com I haven't changed it because we will transfer our current domain over when we go live. Hi there, I'm looking to have all my portfolio subpages to share the same template, and if I update the template layout in one of the subpages, they should all update. Is that possible? Thank you!

Is it possible to upload files from your asset library directly into your portfolio? I can add files from my computer to my portfolio, and from the asset library to any page I want, but I can't find the functionality to add files already in the asset library to the portfolio. It's making the portfolio feature awkward to use/setup because I am trying to get current images off my mobile phone and onto the web page easily. Normally I upload them directly from phone to asset library, then I can freely choose them when adding images to a page. I don't want to have to download the files off my mobile phone to my computer first; this is an awkward and time consuming step. Please advise. Thanks! -

Hi, I'm setting up a portfolio on Squarespace 7.1 • On portfolio page one, I wish to have two columns. • On portfolio page two, I wish to have three columns, as this will be an archive page of non hero work. I don't seem to be able to adjust either page' columns without one page affecting the other. I also find it bizarre I can't choose a one column layout, the editors slider starts at two columns, and edits on any page seem to link to all portfolio pages. Question Is there some CSS to unlink portfolio pages, so I can have multiple portfolio pages with differing layout?? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to match an effect seen on a Squarespace site. When a rollover happens on a project in the portfolio page, the project image blurs, here is the reference https://yarzatwins.com/ I'm using the standard Grid: Overlay template and have been unsuccessful implementing CSS code. I have additional CSS code for fonts. Anyone got some guidance? Thanks

Hi! My website is www.othi.la // password is Print01 On my home page, on the portfolio section, I managed to make the project gallery have only one project per column (as supposed to the template's default minimum of two) using this code: .portfolio-grid-basic { grid-template-columns: 1fr; } That is working great. However, now I want to make each project image smaller, so that there is more space between the images and the site's margins. What would I have to add to the CSS to make that happen? I am trying to customize my portfolio page so my thumbnail columns are divided in a 2/3 to 1/3 split rather than the default 50/50 split. Here's an example layout I'm trying to emulate. I have limited coding knowledge. Any help or suggestions for alternative layouts appreciated. Thanks!

Or, have a sub-heading that says 'coming soon' and then not be able to click through to anywhere. On mobile, I just need the 'coming soon' and not being able to click through to anywhere. How do I do this?

Does anyone know how to format custom CSS to change the arrow icons and location for portfolio pagination? I've been able to add previous and next and remove the basic arrows, but I'd prefer to have slimmer arrows above the project title instead of having previous and next. For clarification, I'd like the arrow to sit above the project title in place of previous/next.

Issues with slide animation in portfolio section

Hey guys, this is my first question in the help forum. I can't find a solution this time. I would like to use site wide animation effect "slide". It works fine on all pages but on the portfolio page. No matter what layout I'm using, ether thumbnails or titles won't appear as I want them. Every other animation also just works perfect. I'm using a bit of custom code. I deleted all of it to see if that's the problem... does not help. I want to use the scrolling text block to show customer reviews of me and my work, but the block only seems to allow the text to scroll in one line which looks odd when there are full sentences that end up wider than the page width. Can anyone help me find a way to enable the scrolling text block to have each item take up multiple lines? Maybe have each set of text I enter move onto a new line after a certain amount of characters, for example. Thanks in advance for any help!
