  1. I used code from the Qgiv platform to insert a form into my website. On the back end it appears to be full view. When I go to the page in live view, the form is cut off. Help! https://www.artworksinbigrapids.org/donate-1
  2. We have a bridal boutique website project where the client doesn't want to sell online, but have a wish list feature that collects dresses together which are emailed to herself and her client. We are not fixed on a template yet so we can build out on any template. The idea being that the dresses can be tried on at an appointment. Does anyone know of a plugin we could buy that would allow us to create a wish list which collects products and emails them? Alternatively, we had initially thought about using the shop and disabling the pricing and adapting the button text to "add to favourites/wish list" rather than add to basket on each product page. We have been able to target the code on the item specifically to hide the price. In order to get this to work we would need code on the "shopping cart" page change the text "shopping cart" on the shopping cart summary page to "Wish list" target the price to hide target the "checkout" button to change the text "see wish list". We would also need to style the "checkout" page headers (squarespace seems to suggest this is not possible?) change "2. Payment" to "2. Contact details" change "3. Review and Purchase" to "3. Review" change "order summary" to "Favourites Summary" change "purchase" button to "Send Favourites" button if possible to hide the prices in "order summary" Any suggestions gratefully received
  3. I would like to add the "Book Now" button (from Timely which provided a line of code) to the navigation bar. Currently, it's in the header. What is the best way to do this? Would really appreciate the advice! :)
  4. Hey all - I have a client who wants to add a plugin to their site that will allow the ability to plug in a zip code and have the user alerted as to whether or not they currently service that area. I thought zipfinder was the answer, but that's just for specific locations (not a map delivery zone type plugin). Has anyone had experience with this? Any good solutions out there? Thanks in advance, x
  5. I have been trying to use LikeToKnowIt code on my site and it shows in the preview but will no load on the live post. I have checked in different browsers, on desktop and mobil and the same thing is happening. https://www.ihustleforher.com/i-hustle-for-her/dino-outfits
  6. Sometimes you just want one of your contributors to be able to add a table so that they can add some data, like a league table to a page or a post. Squarespace makes most complex things seems simple to do (adding images to Galleries for example) but this 'simple' thing seems so challenging! Yes, I know I can add a code block and add some HTML code to create the table. That's fine for me, but my users just want to do it like they would in any other application like MS Word - 'Create Table'. I'm still hoping Squarespace will address this soon so we don't have to use online HTML table tools.
  7. I have a synagogue site, and they have an Amazon wishlist of toys they'd like for their youth groups. Purchasing a toy from the wishlist will send it directly to the synagogue. I'd like to embed this list into our webpage, but I can't seem to get it working. I tried an embed block, but got an Enter a valid embed URL or code I've tried a <code> block: <iframe src="https://smile.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/B0BIPLVBHJ1?&sort=default" width="100%"/> but that ends up with a blank box. I know I can list the items with Amazon blocks, but that would simply allow the person to purchase the item for themselves and not for the synagogue. Has anyone gotten an Amazon wishlist to display on their webpage?
  8. Hello there, Has anybody implemented a resy widget before? Is there a way to have the widget live on the nav bar? I have it install below the carousel https://www.nyumbai.com/ but would love to house it on the nav bar. I believe there's some way by installing scripts and tagging an anchor tag to link on the nav bar, but have yet to figure out what the code is. Thank you in advance!
  9. How would I create a wishlist to add to my website?

    Hello, I have a restaurant and I have been using an online reservations widget embedded into my squarespace website for five and a half years. I just updated my template, and all of a sudden the widget isn't displaying correctly. When you first navigate to my site, the first attachment is a screen shot of what you see. You have to navigate away from my site then back to my site to get the widget to display correctly. I need help with this. Squarespace won't help because it's considered a custom code. I haven't had an issue before this, and I am looking at plenty of other websites using squarespace who use this same widget. If it's an issue with coding, would it show up correctly after navigating away then back to the page? This is what it looks like when I am embedding it, the code shows up the way it should, just not when a guest navigates to the site.
  11. I've installed a Paywall plugin that hides the content for my page if they are not paid subscriber. If you visit my site: https://healthfulev.com/max and click on any of the 2 options, you'll see that I've restricted those pages. However the footer navigation still shows. The code I'm using is hiding everything else. I've attached a screenshot as well. This is the code I've used: <style> body:not(.sqs-edit-mode) .sqs-layout .sqs-block {pointer-events:none;opacity:0;visibility:hidden;} body:not(.sqs-edit-mode) .removex {pointer-events:auto !important;opacity:1 !important;visibility:visible !important;} body:not(.sqs-edit-mode) .subslock{opacity:0 !important;pointer-events:none}body:not(.sqs-edit-mode) .fadeload{opacity:1 !important}body:not(.sqs-edit-mode) .sqs-layout{opacity:0;transition:all ease-in-out 300ms;-ms-transition:all ease-in-out 300ms;-moz-transition:all ease-in-out 300ms;-webkit-transition:all ease-in-out 300ms} </style> <iframe style="visbility:hidden;pointer-events:none;z-index:-9999;opacity:0;position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:500px;height: 200px;" class="subscription-checkx" src="/account/frame/subscriptions"></iframe><div class="subsnotice subslock" style="position:fixed;z-index:9;top:55%;left:50%;transform:translate(-50%,-50%);-webkit-transform:translate(-50%,-50%);-moz-transform:translate(-50%,-50%);width: 400px;height: 200px;transition: all ease-in-out 200ms;"><div class="subsicon" style="background:url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/54dcf1f3e4b03174c3dc75f5/t/5be5e854352f5308e3762256/1541793876726/subspadlock.png');background-repeat:no-repeat;background-position:center;background-size:contain;top:0;left:50%;transform:translateX(-50%);-webkit-transform:translateX(-50%);-moz-transform:translateX(-50%);position:absolute;width:22px;height:22px;display:block;"></div><div class="subsmessage" style="left:0;margin-top: 36px;width:100%;display:block;font-size:14px !important;text-align:center;"> <h3><b>MAX Subscriber Access Only</b></h3> Please sign in to continue. </div></div> <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.2.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(window).load(function(){ setTimeout(function(){ $(".sqs-layout").addClass("fadeload"); },2000); }); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(window).load(function(){ setInterval(function(){ /* SUBSCRIPTION PRODUCT NAME */ var name = "Booty MAX"; /* YOUR SERIAL KEY */ var serial_key = "1234-5678-9101-1121"; /* DON'T CHANGE */ var subs = "Subscriptions"; /* DON'T CHANGE */ var next = "Next Order"; if (($(".subscription-checkx").contents().text().search(next) > -1)){ /* ACCESS GREANTED **/ $(".sqs-layout .sqs-block").addClass('removex'); $(".subsnotice").addClass('subslock'); }else{ $(".sqs-layout .sqs-block").removeClass('removex'); $(".subsnotice").removeClass('subslock'); $("body").find(serial_key); } },2000); }); </script> Can anyone find anything wrong with this code?
  12. Hello, I'm wanting to have an "add to calendar" link on my event pages that allows people to automatically add the event to their calendar. I've used a third party plug-in called Eventable, which generates a code (which I've inserted using the code block) - but wondering if any clever people out there know a better way to do this as it's completely new to me and I don't really love the look of it at the moment. Brine template https://celery-recorder-da9w.squarespace.com Password: BLUE Thanks, Emily
  13. I am looking for a method to display today's date and sunset time at a specific location. Can it be done with code, widget or plugin? Geoff
