But by doing so, the padding of the text block and the line overlap and I can't click on the hyperlinked texts on the live site. Could anyone please suggest a solution? Thank you! @media screen and (min-width:641px) {.sqs-block-horizontalrule {margin-top:-50px !important; margin-bottom:-50px !important;} }

  3. I'm trying to reduce the padding between an image and caption in 7.1. The default is ridiculously big. Does anyone know of a custom CSS code to fix that issue? I'd like a code that fixes it site-wide. The site is set to private right now because it's not ready yet....Here's an example though, this image is an inline image block.
  4. Site URL: https://bernardandhawkes.com/the-library Hey, I had removed a lot of the inbuilt padding on my desktop site with this code.... [data-section-id="xxxxxx"] > .content-wrapper { padding-bottom: 0 !important;} Which has worked really well, but the padding is still there on mobile and iPad, anyone know how do I make the css specific enough that it works on all devices? I thought it would translate across all screens as I hadn't specified just desktop! Thanks!

  7. Site URL: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/home-v11 Hello, I'm trying to arrange a layout in Squarespace as attached with 7 total images. I'd like all the images to be close together (no padding) and right to the edge of the screen full width. I've tried to start the layout here in section 2 of my site: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/home-v11 pword = bluebird I've noticed that my images have some default padding so there are gaps between them. I also can't figure how to get the images right up to the edges of the screen as per my attached example. Is this layout possible? Please help. Best, Faizal

  9. Currently have a protected website and within a blog page the posts stretch across the whole width of the page and I would like to add some padding on the sides to make it look nicer. Any help would be appreciated. I've added an image below.
  10. Site URL: https://www.crxssplatfxrm.com The navigation on my site runs onto two lines, even when it appears there is plenty of space for it to stay on one line. I guess there is some kind of padding at the sides – how can I remove this? I would prefer that the navination never went to two lines, and if the screen wifth isn't wide enough it would go straight to the burger menu. Is that possible?
  11. Site URL: https://modernsaleshq.com/ Hey everyone, First time-question asker! I'm looking to decrease the size of the padding a bit on all template buttons-site wide. We're currently using the Impact template. I've had multiple people tell me how 'dated' the buttons look because of their size. So, it's definitely an update worth making. How can I do this? Cheers, Hannah

  13. Site URL: https://ellipse-saffron-85rw.squarespace.com/experiences-culinaires-et-multisensorielles-sur-mesure-pour-tous-les-evenements Hello, I'm trying to reduce the empty space I have between the header and the first content section on mobile. I'm using a Brine template in 7.0, Sorona. I found how to adjust this padding in the Design panel (Content Section padding), but for Desktop only. I still have a big padding on mobile I could not reduce. I've tried some CSS tricks but I could not find the right way to target this space. I've checked, i don't have a Spacer block neither. If someone knows how to target this space so I can adjust madding ? A few screenshots below. I'm not a coder, but I know the basic in how to copy paste and customize some html codes in squarespace 🙂 Thanks a lot ! Jonathan my desktop : My Mobile : The control panel I'm using for desktop :

  15. Site URL: https://www.iamjustinsinger.com/ Looking to reduce the padding on my header but ONLY on desktop version. NOT mobile. This code works but it applies it the mobile site as well and I want it to apply to just the desktop version. <style> .portfolio-hover[data-mode="hover-cover"] .portfolio-hover-items-list { padding-top: 0px; } </style>
  16. I am using the Bryler template and have a single index page for my site that holds all of the content pages within it. I am trying to create a scenario where the first page of the index has different padding (top and bottom margins) than the rest of the pages within the same index. In other words, can I adjust the padding of a single page within an index without affecting the others? Let's say my index is named "welcome" and the first content page under that is called "home". I found this code on another thread, but cant seem to assign the page names properly... section#video .Index-page-content { padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; } I tried using "welcome#home" and "home#welcome", but neither worked. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, as a very inexperienced coder. I'm hoping some one can help me out. Thanks so much.

  19. Hello, I am creating a website and I would like my logo to be on top of the banner image on the mobile version as well. I tried to use the codes of this website https://www.mcdigitaldesign.com.au/news/squarespace-brine-mobile-header/ but there is still some padding on top (please see the image attached). Is there any other way to do this? I've attached the desktop version too, I would like to achieve the same effect. Thank you in advance

  21. Site URL: http://hillashapira.com TEST GALLERY: https://www.hillashapira.com/underbody PASSWORD: 2020 Trying to tighten up the design of a gallery I'm creating for an artist but having trouble refining the design. While I might be in over my head, my issues are as follows: 1) Static gallery that will not crop images off the screen when viewed on a mobile device. In a dream world, I could learn how to build something like this: https://www.emily-culver.com/laborofsuggestion 2) Padding / spacing between images that doesn't crop any of the image on either side. If I can't have the images show in sequence with a counter like the static site example above, this would be another excellent solution: https://gidon-levin.squarespace.com/dimona 3) Rollover / hover on images revealing caption; you'll see my feeble attempt at such in the test gallery. Perfect solution illustrated here: https://www.richardmcvetis.co.uk/grid-iii-and-iv Some forums have helped me get close to resolving these issues but I've still got a pretty lackluster design at this point. Any insights would be so appreciated!
  22. Site URL: https://www.frangipanibeatt.com/ Hi! I have padding around each image on my index site, but it doesn't seem to work on the left hand side of my page. This is the code I am using: } .homepage #grid .item a { width: 94%; height: 95%; } Thanks in advance!!

  24. Site URL: https://wellwater.life Urgently need your help, I've been trying to figure this out all day! How do I make it so that this photo doesn't have this white space on the left and below? This photo is a part of an index and I want to make it as seamless as possible. I've tried various coding suggested throughout the forum For example: div#abouthome-1.page-content { padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; } But it doesn't seem to do anything on my page, maybe I'm getting the name wrong?? I'm not very familiar with coding unfortunately. It's also strange because there is no space above the photo, it's perfect - that's how I want the rest to look. The slug is: abouthome-1 Thank you so so much in advance!!
  25. Site URL: https://ranunculus-lute-s68s.squarespace.com/ Hello! Can someone please help me to remove the top padding of the header on my website? I want the black of the logo to bleed off the top edge of the page. I've attached a screenshot to visually explain it. Website: https://ranunculus-lute-s68s.squarespace.com/ Password: hellohello This website will just be on a personal plan, so ideally I would just like some CSS to make this adjustment. Thanks!
