  1. Site URL: http://hillashapira.com TEST GALLERY: https://www.hillashapira.com/underbody PASSWORD: 2020 Trying to tighten up the design of a gallery I'm creating for an artist but having trouble refining the design. While I might be in over my head, my issues are as follows: 1) Static gallery that will not crop images off the screen when viewed on a mobile device. In a dream world, I could learn how to build something like this: https://www.emily-culver.com/laborofsuggestion 2) Padding / spacing between images that doesn't crop any of the image on either side. If I can't have the images show in sequence with a counter like the static site example above, this would be another excellent solution: https://gidon-levin.squarespace.com/dimona 3) Rollover / hover on images revealing caption; you'll see my feeble attempt at such in the test gallery. Perfect solution illustrated here: https://www.richardmcvetis.co.uk/grid-iii-and-iv Some forums have helped me get close to resolving these issues but I've still got a pretty lackluster design at this point. Any insights would be so appreciated!

  4. Site URL: https://wellwater.life Urgently need your help, I've been trying to figure this out all day! How do I make it so that this photo doesn't have this white space on the left and below? This photo is a part of an index and I want to make it as seamless as possible. I've tried various coding suggested throughout the forum For example: div#abouthome-1.page-content { padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; } But it doesn't seem to do anything on my page, maybe I'm getting the name wrong?? I'm not very familiar with coding unfortunately. It's also strange because there is no space above the photo, it's perfect - that's how I want the rest to look. The slug is: abouthome-1 Thank you so so much in advance!!
  5. Site URL: https://ranunculus-lute-s68s.squarespace.com/ Hello! Can someone please help me to remove the top padding of the header on my website? I want the black of the logo to bleed off the top edge of the page. I've attached a screenshot to visually explain it. Website: https://ranunculus-lute-s68s.squarespace.com/ Password: hellohello This website will just be on a personal plan, so ideally I would just like some CSS to make this adjustment. Thanks!
  6. Site URL: https://www.iamjustinsinger.com/ Looking to reduce the padding between my logo and the content on my page just on desktop version. Any ideas?
  7. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk Hi, How can I introduce some space to the sides of the three images on my homepage? See red squiggles on attached screenshot. When I use spacer blocks the images resize and I can't get them all the same size again. I can't re-size the spacer blocks sufficiently to make it work (there's a minimum width). Is there either some CSS to make spacer blocks more width adjustable or some other way I could put a margin or padding around those three images to bring them in a little? Thanks.

  11. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content As I'm not familiar with CSS coding at all, I would like to ask a general question here about padding. So that there's some white space between my content & the left and right edges of my desktop screen. Using Brine template, Squarespace 7.0
  12. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, Having some trouble with the spacing between code blocks for my client's side below: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content If you scroll down to the 2nd image block, you'll notice there are 3 different sets of additional text headings which i created using code blocks (h4, h5 & h6 headings), entitled "4th type of text heading...", "5th type text heading..." etc. But you'll also notice there's a huge spacing between these 3 code blocks as well as the "Learn More" button at the bottom. How do I reduce & adjust this huge spacing between these 3 separate code blocks and the "Learn More" button? Template used is Brine & version is Squarespace 7.0
  13. Site URL: https://demo-61w23.squarespace.com/config/pages Hi All, I've created a building graphic and have each floor set as its own rollover image using code blocks. It works perfectly however there needs to be absolutely no vertical space between the code blocks in order for it to look like a single image. Right now, there is a small amount of space that is showing up between each floor and ruing the effect, how can I get rid of it?? Currently I am using this bit of css which helps a bit but not completely. I tried also setting the padding to " 0 0 0 0 " as well as adding "margin: 0 !important" without any luck. .code-block { padding: 0 !important; } https://demo-61w23.squarespace.com/config/pages the site password is: demo61w23

  15. Site URL: https://sandralynnallendesign.squarespace.com/living CSS Padding around masonry grid gallery help please: I'm used to being able to adjust the width of a section - the rest of the site's sections are set to "Medium" and line up with the outer edges of the logo and navigation bar as the red lines in the screen grab attached indicate. Is there a way to adjust the padding on this masonry gallery section to be medium width to match the rest of the site? I feel like it should be obvious but I can't seem to adjust the width of this gallery. https://sandralynnallendesign.squarespace.com/living Pass: 1234 Thanks so much!
  16. Site URL: https://www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 Hi, is there a way to increase padding against specific text blocks? Looking to still left align but centralise the text more vertically. Have previously attempted with code block container + custom code but this didn't scale great on mobile. Site example here: https://www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 Thanks!
  17. Hey folks. I'm wondering why we cannot change the header's vertical padding to 0. I have a design I'd like to implement (attaching screenshot), but can't do so without removing the padding around the logo. I've tried using custom CSS to change this but it's not consistent. Any thoughts on how I can make this happen, or will I have to tell my clients it's not possible?
  18. Dear Support Team, I added the following to each of my pages via PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION: <div dir="rtl"</div> The pages are correctly formatted with RTL now, but there is no spacing between the first and second navigation link in the header. See screenshot --> there is no spacing between Home and About. I tried to change the order of the pages, delete all or part of the pages, delete all pages and create them from scratch... nothing helps. Also tried to change the link spacing which works for all spaces between the links, just not the first and second link from the right... Thank you for your support. Sho
  19. Site URL: https://www.windsorcharteracademy.org We need help adjusting our banner on our homepage. In the previous version of our homepage, the padding around our banner was not an issue. With this new banner, the white space above and below is too large. We would like to reduce the padding at the top (between the navigation pane and banner photo) and the bottom (between the banner photo and the beginning of the page text). Any advice is appreciated! www.windsorcharteracademy.org
  20. Site URL: https://market.courcontent.com I'm looking to decrease the space between my navigation and the first piece of content on each page. In other words - I'm looking to lessen the height of the entire websites padding. I've tried a series of different CSS lines and I cannot quite figure it out. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!
  21. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, Bit of a tricky one (for me). On this page: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 I have three markdown boxes underneath images. On desktop they look fine (see attached image). They are the ones with a pink background saying "Personal Service"; "Custom Samples"; "Matching Stationery". However, on a screen size where the text goes over onto two lines the markdown box obviously changes shape to accommodate. This can be on any device, but a good example is on mobile in landscape (see second attached image). This throws out the visuals on this section of the page and looks messy. Is there some way I can CSS it so that if one box goes over onto two lines then they all do? Thanks.
  22. Hi there, I'm currently using a portfolio page as my homepage in Squarespace 7.1. I notice the page isn't fixed (it allows people to scroll up and down at least on a 13" laptop) even though there's literally nothing but one line of text. I've attached a screenshot to this post where you can see the scroll bar on the right side. My other pages (i.e., Art + Photo and Contact) are fixed which I like. I wonder if there's a code fix to this? I've tried to size down the images (when you hover over the text, an image appears) but it doesn't make a difference. Thank you!
  23. Hello! I am trying to remove extra space from my custom testimonial index section. As you can see in the image there is a lot of space above and below, is there custom code I can place to fix this? the slug for the page is testimonials-1
