  1. Site URL: https://demo-61w23.squarespace.com/config/pages Hi All, I've created a building graphic and have each floor set as its own rollover image using code blocks. It works perfectly however there needs to be absolutely no vertical space between the code blocks in order for it to look like a single image. Right now, there is a small amount of space that is showing up between each floor and ruing the effect, how can I get rid of it?? Currently I am using this bit of css which helps a bit but not completely. I tried also setting the padding to " 0 0 0 0 " as well as adding "margin: 0 !important" without any luck. .code-block { padding: 0 !important; } https://demo-61w23.squarespace.com/config/pages the site password is: demo61w23
  2. Site URL: https://www.mackenzieclarkphoto.com/work Hi, I'm trying to adjust the padding/margins of the links so that they align with the logo at the top left. It was automatically correct on the 'schedule' page I created, but the spacing is different on this page. Would greatly appreciate any help as I'm sure it's an easy fix!
  3. Site URL: https://sandralynnallendesign.squarespace.com/living CSS Padding around masonry grid gallery help please: I'm used to being able to adjust the width of a section - the rest of the site's sections are set to "Medium" and line up with the outer edges of the logo and navigation bar as the red lines in the screen grab attached indicate. Is there a way to adjust the padding on this masonry gallery section to be medium width to match the rest of the site? I feel like it should be obvious but I can't seem to adjust the width of this gallery. https://sandralynnallendesign.squarespace.com/living Pass: 1234 Thanks so much!
  4. Site URL: https://www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 Hi, is there a way to increase padding against specific text blocks? Looking to still left align but centralise the text more vertically. Have previously attempted with code block container + custom code but this didn't scale great on mobile. Site example here: https://www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 Thanks!
  5. Hey folks. I'm wondering why we cannot change the header's vertical padding to 0. I have a design I'd like to implement (attaching screenshot), but can't do so without removing the padding around the logo. I've tried using custom CSS to change this but it's not consistent. Any thoughts on how I can make this happen, or will I have to tell my clients it's not possible?
  6. Dear Support Team, I added the following to each of my pages via PAGE HEADER CODE INJECTION: <div dir="rtl"</div> The pages are correctly formatted with RTL now, but there is no spacing between the first and second navigation link in the header. See screenshot --> there is no spacing between Home and About. I tried to change the order of the pages, delete all or part of the pages, delete all pages and create them from scratch... nothing helps. Also tried to change the link spacing which works for all spaces between the links, just not the first and second link from the right... Thank you for your support. Sho
  7. Site URL: https://www.windsorcharteracademy.org We need help adjusting our banner on our homepage. In the previous version of our homepage, the padding around our banner was not an issue. With this new banner, the white space above and below is too large. We would like to reduce the padding at the top (between the navigation pane and banner photo) and the bottom (between the banner photo and the beginning of the page text). Any advice is appreciated! www.windsorcharteracademy.org
  8. Site URL: https://market.courcontent.com I'm looking to decrease the space between my navigation and the first piece of content on each page. In other words - I'm looking to lessen the height of the entire websites padding. I've tried a series of different CSS lines and I cannot quite figure it out. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!
  9. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, Bit of a tricky one (for me). On this page: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 I have three markdown boxes underneath images. On desktop they look fine (see attached image). They are the ones with a pink background saying "Personal Service"; "Custom Samples"; "Matching Stationery". However, on a screen size where the text goes over onto two lines the markdown box obviously changes shape to accommodate. This can be on any device, but a good example is on mobile in landscape (see second attached image). This throws out the visuals on this section of the page and looks messy. Is there some way I can CSS it so that if one box goes over onto two lines then they all do? Thanks.
  10. Hi there, I'm currently using a portfolio page as my homepage in Squarespace 7.1. I notice the page isn't fixed (it allows people to scroll up and down at least on a 13" laptop) even though there's literally nothing but one line of text. I've attached a screenshot to this post where you can see the scroll bar on the right side. My other pages (i.e., Art + Photo and Contact) are fixed which I like. I wonder if there's a code fix to this? I've tried to size down the images (when you hover over the text, an image appears) but it doesn't make a difference. Thank you!
  11. Hello! I am trying to remove extra space from my custom testimonial index section. As you can see in the image there is a lot of space above and below, is there custom code I can place to fix this? the slug for the page is testimonials-1
  12. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, I'm trying to reduce the padding between the Insta block in the top footer and next section of top footer beneath it. See attached image. Tried messing around with CSS on that block and the one underneath but can't get it to work. Help gratefully received. Thank you. Tom www.boutique14.co.uk/home1
  13. Site URL: http://www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 Hi, I'm looking to remove the top/bottom padding on code blocks to create a seamless shape but can't seem to figure this out. Have inserted the following code below but the padding is still there on the top/bottom. https:// www.camberwellarts.org.uk/test123 .code-block { padding: 0 !important; } Thanks!
  14. Hello, I have recently launched https://tag-am.squarespace.com/ To compensate the large empty spaces between the site title and the page body, I have temporarily implemented the following code: .sqs-block-horizontalrule {margin-top:-100px !important; margin-bottom:-23px !important;} However, when accessing the website from mobile devices and viewing horizontally, an overlay of the site title + buttons + logo occurs. Can this layout issue be solved without the horizontal rule fix that is leading to the overlays in many devices? Thank you very much!
  15. Site URL: https://www.mattportch.com/lost-america-prints Hi, How do I get the text at the bot tom of this page to align with the margin? (I've already added this page code for the current margin to contain the other elements): <style> @media (min-width: 768px) { header#header, .content-wrapper, .section-background { padding-left: 9% !important; padding-right: 9% !important; }} </style>
  16. Site URL: https://runningineights.squarespace.com/ Hello! I have two issues. How do I reduce the padding globally under the header. The gap is still far too wide even when I've decreased this in section options. Also, there's a white bar that shows itself in mobile right above the footer (attached). How do I get rid of this or globally change the sites background color? Thank you so much for any help!
  17. Site URL: http://www.thechicode.com Hello, If you take a look at my page in desktop view the gallery containing the two images with Booking and Subscribe on them, there is no space between them. They lay flush. On mobile view though, there is a space between the images and I can't get it to go away. I've adjusted the padding to 0, but nothing changes. Can someone please help me. Thank you in advanced.
  18. I am using the Bryler template and have a single index page for my site that holds all of the content pages within it. I am trying to create a scenario where the first page of the index has different padding (top and bottom margins) than the rest of the pages within the same index. In other words, can I adjust the padding of a single page within an index without affecting the others? Let's say my index is named "welcome" and the first content page under that is called "home". I found this code on another thread, but cant seem to assign the page names properly... section#video .Index-page-content { padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; } I tried using "welcome#home" and "home#welcome", but neither worked. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, as a very inexperienced coder. I'm hoping some one can help me out. Thanks so much.
  19. Site URL: https://r2rdigital.squarespace.com/ Hi Squarespace Forum'ers, I'm currently designing a website and have am excited to be picking up CSS knowledge as I go - that said, I'm still falling short and would appreciate any help on the following points. Thank you in advance for your time! Changes specific to the mobile version of the site: Is there a way to align certain sections of text differently? We have some line breaks on the desktop version of the site, which make the text appear oddly on mobile - is there a way to remove the line break? On that same note, can we add a line break to text on a button? I'd like to make the text in the footer appear in two columns - is this possible? Is it possible to align an image in the footer differently? Lastly, our current landing page doesn't fill the mobile screen - is there a way to change this? Changes to mobile and desktop: Our current landing page doesn't fill both the desktop and mobile screen - is there a way to change this? Is it possible to add a page transition? This ideally wouldn't be on elements, but just when a new page is visited. Is it possible to time a page and for it to redirect a visitor automatically? We have a landing page where a video plays, and following this, we'd like it to send visitors to the home page. If not, are we able to time/delay a button, so that this appears after a few seconds? Lastly, are we able to add a drop shadow to a video block? I understand there's a lot of queries here, and to echo what I mentioned earlier, any help would be greatly appreciated! The password for the site is: 'forum2020' If you require any screenshots/further info, I'd be more than happy to provide them 🙂 Thank you, Thomas 😊

Does any one know how to adjust this without changing the placement of the text on the desktop site?
