  1. The drop down menus for product variants on version 7.1 have a lot of built-in padding and I'd like to reduce that.
  2. When the content alignment for the product details text on my 7.1 site is set to "top" there's still some padding above the text so it doesn't line up with the product gallery properly. Looking for a solution to fix that.
  3. Site URL: https://shallot-pumpkin-jwth.squarespace.com/config/ Hi everyone, Id like to get rid of the padding above the Product titles that seem to appear on each product. Cant seem to find how to edit it in the code, so any help would be appreciated. ( @tuanphan @brandon you guys seem like the guys to ask!) Thanks again Tom
  4. Site URL: https://www.graceventurawrites.com Does anyone have any suggestions on how to add padding to the top and bottom of ALL sections on a website on MOBILE ONLY? For some reason on the desktop versions the spacing is great. But on mobile the spacing disappears and I don't like how tight all the sections are to one another. Advice will be appreciated!
  5. Site URL: https://soybean-flute-42kz.squarespace.com/manual-project-page Hi, Using this code to reduce gutter space between images. Unfortunately on mobile this results in uneven space between images. Any idea why? On bpbile the padding is also affecting the outer margins of the page... I'd be so grateful for any help. Interestingly when I set padding to 0 it fully closes the gap between some but not all pictures. and almost entirely removesthe outer margin. Password is Sandy Thanks Claudia .image-block { padding: 12px !important; }
  6. Site URL: https://www.caseyoneillcopy.com Hi, I am trying to create a services block on my website Caseyoneillcopy.com. The block should be four columns with three elements each: an icon, a header and a blurb. Unfortunately, I am having trouble with the spacing. When I set it up using the WYSIWYG tools there is a huge gap between the icon and the header, and then another huge gap between the header and the blurb. This looks okay-ish on desktop. But it looks really bad on mobile and tablet. Is there a code (or codes) I can use to make the elements closer together? I've tried a bunch from the forum myself at in-page, page and site level - but am having no luck. Thanks, Casey
  7. Site URL: https://wearenativ.squarespace.com/home-page Hello! I'm making a featured gallery using several summary blocks (as I want to be able to change the images featuring in the gallery based on tags). Because I'd like the product title and price to be visible on a mouse-hover, I've made 'title' and 'excerpt' visible for my galleries. However, doing this has knocked my once beautiful spacing between images out of whack in the wall-summary gallery (photo attached). Would love to be able to reduce the horizontal space between the images in my wall summary block so they match the rest of the gallery! Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!
  8. Site URL: https://soybean-flute-42kz.squarespace.com/manual-project-page Hi, I'm trying to reduce the margin between images. I know basic CSS but no idea what to do when I can't see where this is set in the code? Ideally would like to reduce on all devices. Password is Sandy Thanks so much. Claudia
  9. Site URL: https://sparrow-plums-s25x.squarespace.com/contact Hey friends! I am having some trouble with one small section on my "contact" page at the bottom where there are some images blocked together. On mobile and desktop they look great, but when viewing on an iPad, there is huge padding around the images that I can't seem to get rid of. If anyone has a code to help that would be amazing! pw: summer2020 Thank you!
  10. Site URL: https://ladiesdrawingnigh.org Hi, I'd like to increase the padding to the top of the newsletter block to match the bottom padding. Can you tell me how to do that? When I use Site Styles to increase the padding, the padding increases twice as much on the bottom as it does on the top. I have Brine 7.0. Thank you for your help! Teresa
  11. Site URL: https://lizard-chartreuse-ftf8.squarespace.com/ site password: solar2020 I am trying to reconfigure the LP banner image by adding part as an image overlay so that everything appears on mobile. Is is possible to remove the padding at the bottom of the page so it looks as if the image is bleeding into the next section? Any help would be appreciated!
  12. Site URL: https://amoritasvineyards.squarespace.com/home?p Hello, I'm trying to remove the horizontal padding around the gallery in the Brine template so that it has a full bleed on the page. Thank you!

  14. Site URL: http://thewellcanvas.com Hi! I am trying to remove the space between my top navigation/header and content. My homepage is a blog index, and ideally I would like for this to not affect individual blog posts, because so far this has resulted in my individual blog posts being too close to the header. I can see the padding is too much on the header, but I've already made it as low as possible without adding CSS. Thanks!
  15. Site URL: http://www.eoghannolan.com/ I'm trying to get the gif at the top of this page to look like a news ticker, so it needs to be full width and flush with the header and the section below. The width should scale down with the screen size and the height should be relative to the width - apologies my understanding of css is limited.
  16. Site URL: http://www.celineisogai.com Hey I'm using the 7.1 version of squarespace and I'm seeing a gap on mobile when you reach the bottom of the page. I'm assuming it needs padding but I'm not sure what I need in the code to fix it. celineisogai.com The password: wowza I've uploaded a picture for reference to the problem. Thanks!
  17. Hi all, I'm trying to reduce the padding either of the header (padding-bottom) or the image block below (padding-top) on my website, but I have tried both within the custom css and page injection pages but neither of my code is working or seems to work for a minute and then gets overridden, I was hoping this would be an easy task but it appears to taking a while to sort out so would appreciate any help. See the attached screenshot, plus code that hasn't worked so far... .header .header-announcement-bar-wrapper { padding-bottom: 0px !important; } Page.section:not(.content-collection):not(gallery-section)>.content-wrapper { padding-top: 0px !important; } Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Martin
  18. Site URL: http://www.hap-ceramics.com Hey hey! I'm in the middle of redesigning my website but struggle with some issues at the moment. I hope you can help 🙂 I'd like to focus on pictures on my website and make them full screen with no padding around. For desktop it worked quite well and I'm happy with the result. However for mobile it doesn't work at all! How can I eliminate the padding around the pictures? And how can I make them full screen? I like what happens with the banner. It just zooms in. Thank you so much!! Cheers, Maxi
  19. Site URL: https://coconut-hypersphere-nmr5.squarespace.com/config/ I am trying to get rid of image padding on mobile. At the moment I have this code which works in getting rid of top and bottom padding but not left and right as seen in image attached. @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .sqs-layout .sqs-row .sqs-block:first-child { padding-top: 0 !important; } .sqs-layout .sqs-row .sqs-block:last-child { padding-bottom: 0 !important; } }
  20. Site URL: https://www.louissutherland.com I'm trying to increase the width of the page content so that the videos appear larger depending on the person's browser window (increasing or decreasing in size according to full the space accordingly. Right now the content feels very narrow with big borders/margins on the left and right.
  21. Site URL: https://www.lifegaming.gg/ First question is regarding mobile format for a slideshow-reel, and how its formatted on mobile, in portrait view. On desktop view and in landscape view on mobile it looks fine, with it changing the image size to fit the container in that format. However on mobile in portrait view it doesn't adjust the image size and just zooms in on the center, and i'd like it to show the full image just scaled appropriately.
  22. Site URL: https://www.taskgloves.com/ Hi, Is there a way to remove the padding under the gallery slideshows? I've reduced the height to 0, and it was able to remove the padding on the top of the gallery, but not the bottom. I'm using the Brine template.
  23. Site URL: https://minnow-bison-eb6k.squarespace.com/ Is there a way that you can adjust the caption spacing and the block height of gallery blocks on 7.1? The padding is just really large on 7.1 between blocks and under images. Ideally, I'd like to just have a site-wide padding like on 7.0 but that seems to not be how 7.1 works. It's particularly noticeable on mobile (see attached image). Any help would be great. The password for the site is: password Here is the code I've already injected: /* Nav item color */ .header-nav-item a { color: Black !important; } /* Nav item hover color */ .header-nav-item a:hover { color: #ef5232 !important; } /* Nav item active color */ .header-nav-item--active a { color: #ef5232 !important; } /* Nav item hover color - underline */ .header-nav-item--active a { color: #ef5232; } .header-nav-item--active a { background-image: #ef5232; } @media (max-width: 800px) { .gallery-masonry .gallery-masonry-item img { height: 100%!important; width: 100%!important; } .gallery-masonry .gallery-masonry-wrapper { columns: 1; column-gap: 0; padding: 0 10px; height: auto!important; display: block!important; } .gallery-masonry-item-wrapper { height: auto!important; } .gallery-masonry-item { position: relative!important; padding: 10px!important; transform: none!important; width: 93%!important; display: block; } } @media (max-width: 800px) { .item-pagination-title, .item-pagination-icon { font-size: 15px !important; line-height: 19px !important; } } .header-menu-nav-item a { font-size: 25px; } @media screen and (max-width:800px) { .gallery-grid-wrapper { grid-template-columns: repeat(1,1fr) !important; grid-row-gap: 5vw !important; } }
  24. Site URL: http://https/fullcirclemicrobes.com/problem-solution-1 For each new page or section I create within my site index, there's a built-in padding or margin at the top and bottom that runs the width of the screen. I've looked at a few similar questions and tutorials on YT but haven't been able to make those CSS fixes work for me. In this particular example, I want to eliminate the grey areas above and below my text blocks so that the section/page will be divided in half vertically with the left side all grey and the right side all green.
  25. Site URL: https://www.mattretzlaff.com Is there a way to reduce the amount of space between the images and buttons on the home page? They are way too far apart. Thanks.
