  1. Site URL: https://hananproducts.com/ready-to-whip-icings How do you adjust the padding around a 'Quote' Content Block? Does it require custom CSS? If so, can someone share what code I would put in to tighten/reduce the padding around a default 'Quote' Content Block? Thank you!! Ryan
  2. Site URL: https://tynegate-films.com/ I'm trying to move the burger over, to add padding just to that element, on mobile view for the site however I can't find any custom CSS on the forums to work - can anyone help? Thank you!
  3. I am trying to add a text box with a dark background on the bottom of certain pages for a clients site. They need to appear on a "blog page" and also a regular "blank" page. With all the settings for the content the same, the block on the 'blog' page (B) has some extra space below (see pictures - I also included one with the background inset (C) to show the extra black below it. Any ideas / help appreciated! I would just like them to be consistent like the 'blank' page (A)
  4. Site URL: https://www.lowe-design.co.uk Hi, I managed to remove the hamburger completely by using this code I found. .burger-box { display: none; } When I view my site on my sons iPad, the logo has to much space/padding for my liking. Is there anyway to combine the two in the css, please. I'm only on a standard subscription. Sorry this is my first site, loving using SquareSpace, css is completely new and baffling. Many thanks, Andy
  5. Site URL: https://lynx-synthesizer-lsgh.squarespace.com/abstracts-i Hello. I'm trying to make pages each with a simple slideshow gallery, including thumbnails and description captions below. When I enable the captions, my images shrink dramatically in size and the space between the caption and the thumbnails is huge. No change to any of the gallery settings seems to make a difference. Is there any way to get the thumbnails much closer to the caption with a regular sized image (same distance above and below the caption if possible)? I've also been searching the forums and help pages but
  6. Site URL: http://amyroperlyons.com I want to remove the large blank spaces above and below the my Site Title (AMY ROPER LYONS) on mobile (see image attached). There are no big spaces on desktop or tablet view. I tried all the code I could find on this forum that seemed to apply to this situation but nothing had any effect. Web address is http://amyroperlyons.com if you want to look.
  7. Site URL: https://www.elliotcamarraceramics.com/ I'm having an issue with excessive padding between galleries on the mobile view of my site. Apparently if these were "normal sections" the padding would be customizable, but as gallery sections it is not. i'd like to add a custom code to modify the mobile view without impacting the desktop view. is this possible? thank you so much!!! screenshots of the problematic mobile view attached. mobile view: desktop view:
  8. This is what I want to accomplish within a block. Notice the .png image on the right touches the top and bottom of the block. But this is as close as I can get with Squarespace tools: I have a text and button element on the left and a .png on the right, over a background image. I want the .png to bleed top and bottom and the text/button centered vertically. I can achieve this by only using a background image, but that doesn't gracefully degrade on mobile. Any ideas?
  9. Site URL: https://www.palmgrovebeachresort.com/bookings Hi, I have tried adding different kinds of code mentioned in previous threads regarding padding to the Custom CSS but can't make it work. How can i Reduce/remove the padding of in this space:
  10. Hello, How can I reduce the padding space between a video and a gallery set of images? Squarespace has a default where it automatically adds a huge gap (its even worse on the mobile version of the site) Thanks in advance!

  13. Site URL: https://www.cetoolsinc.com/ I used css to hide our desktop view banner on mobile with this: @ media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1594327207338_34326 {display: none;} But now there's blank space above the mobile banner, where the desktop banner would be if it wasn't hidden, seen in the picture below. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  16. Hi people, I'd like to ask about a padding issue under my logo (see photo, site not yet published). Apparently the block makes it so that there's 17 px space below the logo, but only 10 above. I would like it to be in the middle (preferably the bottom space removed). According to customer service this apparently is only possible using custom CSS. I have limited coding skills, but if I see CSS somewhere, I might be able to deduct something... but I can't even find where the CSS for this part is. I'm using a template from the Brine family (Hyde) and version 7.0 if it makes a difference. Any

I feel like the text is running way too close to the edge of the box. I've adjusting the padding options for regular text boxes, but it doesn't seem to apply to the captions of image layouts. Any help is greatly appreciated! Template: Fairfield Website: www.valiantresidential.com :
  18. Hi, Just wondering if anyone had the CSS custom code for Brine Family for me to take away the apparent 'padding' for the text that overlays the card image block element?? I managed to get rid of the background but each line has a colour that i can only assume is padding... but i can't work out the coding needed to get rid of it... please see image attached. The custom css coding window is in the pic... not sure what i did wrong to get the mini colour block before and after that i can change in the 'Site Styles' section via the 'text background colour' but with the coding changed, it
  19. Hello, I reduced the padding of the line block using the following code: . sqs-block-horizontalrule {margin-top:-50px !important; margin-bottom:-50px !important;} To achieve the following look: However, when I checked the mobile view, this is what it ends up looking like. Does anyone know a way to fix how it looks on the mobile view?? Thank you.
  20. Site URL: https://www.tamsinlouisephotography.com/journal Hi, I've added a sidebar to left of my blog in Flatiron template. There was a lot of negative space here so I thought it would look quite nice. However, since doing this, rather than allowing the sidebar to fill this space, the padding has remained the same size and everything has just shifted over a little to the right. This looks fine but when I add the comments box, the box gets cut off, as well as my writing for the blog. Is there an option to reduce the space in-between the sidebar and the to left of my blog content?
  21. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content As I'm not familiar with CSS coding at all, I would like to ask a general question here about padding. How do I reduce (or adjust) the padding on the left and right hand sides for ALL my pages at one go? So that there's some white space between my content & the left and right edges of my desktop screen. Using Brine template, Squarespace 7.0
  22. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, Having some trouble with the spacing between code blocks for my client's side below: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content If you scroll down to the 2nd image block, you'll notice there are 3 different sets of additional text headings which i created using code blocks (h4, h5 & h6 headings), entitled "4th type of text heading...", "5th type text heading..." etc. But you'll also notice there's a huge spacing between these 3 code blocks as well as the "Learn More
